this is a silly one, but my friend and I while we were in Massachusetts passed a few berry bogs, and one in particular had two geese just happily living their lives, and it inspired this haiku that day

Hello! Took a little break from posting haikus because I was in Spain, but I’m back!
Question: should I start titling my haikus?
4/4/22
it seems no matter
the amount of yellow days
blues are much darker
It’s beddy bye time
time to put our thoughts to rest
tucked in with our sheets
eyes strictly foreword
depends on periphery
for her every move
wanting to ask you
not scared of your response, my friend
but the thoughts inside
i am still, quiet
and yet I always still say
it’s somehow my fault
worthy of goodness
is learned in time and self trust
is learned in healing
i want to meet you,
my imaginary friend,
fictional partner
possibilities
reveling in melodies
and their remedies
the swing of my arm
repeating as he pulls me
panting in the sun
