Clint Barton has a bumper sticker that says "Honk all you want, I can't hear you, I'm deaf" no one can change my mind on this
fake stakeout hater i saw you thoroughly enjoying the company of another man
here’s some fluff winterhawk content
I'd like to thank my older brother for introducing me to this magnificent ship. They give me brainrot.
OMGG I ACTUALLY COLORED AND FINISHED ART WOAH!!!
Anyway, don't ask me what they're saying; I don't know. I wanted it to be like Nat showing her new venom suit to them, but it turned out like this, so I mean it still could be that, but errm.
I wanted to draw Bucky without his prosthetic, but I was fighting for my life, omgg. I settled for the cut-off at the shoulder, but I don't think he would wear it to bed at all. Same with Clint's aids, but I'm like, if they're supposed to be talking, you gotta wear the aids in bed, baby. I'm so sorry; also, it's just muscle memory to draw them. I should write my disability-related HCS when I have time.
downloading Marvel Rivals as we speak. AS WE SPEAK. So, I might draw fan art. I don't know; the suits are really bulky, but I want to. They look so fine it's unreal. I still have criticisms, even if I think they look hot, but ehh :/
hope everyone is doing well it's been a while!!
Clint: You guys are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Natasha: We're the best thing that's ever happened to you?
Bucky: I feel sorry for you.
This joke took me two whole weeks to finish, it was a struggle. Hope it was worth it lmao
bonus
bugs when you lift up a rock
yes hes my comfort character, and yes he does beat the shit out of people. he multitasks idk
You had ONE job! #SuperHeroFail #captainamerica #hawkeye #ChristmasShoppingWithFanboys
My family just saw the Hawkeye advert and my mum goes “isn’t that the arrow” 😭💀
Budapest is actually so beautiful, I wonder what happened there :)
Captain America taught me that even if I’m a little, tiny sassy asthmatic shit, I still can be a (super)hero
Ironman taught me that doesn’t matter how deep I will be, the main thing is that I wouldn’t stay here
Black Widow taught me that I can be a bitch who fights as well as men, and yet I can still have feelings (and sometimes not under my control)
Hawkeye taught me that doesn’t matter if I’m weak or broke, what matters are my skills and inteligence
Agent Peggy Carter taught me that even if they think that I’m not good enough to do something, I’m still capable of more than I can ever imagine
James Bucky Barnes taught me that even if I did something bad in my past, it doesn’t define my future
Peter Parker taught me that everybody’s adventure is out here, waiting for all of us to find it
and finally
Stan Lee taught me all these things plus that;
My fantasy is a magical power and I shouldn’t be ashamed to use it
I’m capable of amazing things, all I have to do is to trust to myself
That to be a little weird for others means also that I have so much more joy and hapiness in my life than them.
Okay, a little “out of debate” post today but I just needed to wrote that down.
Full Disclosure, I am a Hearing woman so all information in these slides are from online Deaf resources (I linked below), but if anything is inaccurate or needs tweaking please let me know! I’ve also never written out the Image Descriptions so please let me know if I need to fix anything!
[ID 1: Four hands using ASL to spell out “Deaf.” The background has various still images of people signing “I love you,” Fingerspelling “Hawkeye,” and a title card from a show reading “The Boy from 6B.”
Then reads “Representation in Media” / end ID1]
[ID 2: Stock Photo of mother and child with Hearing Aids.
There is a statistical chart in the bottom left corner that reads “New Study of Hearing Loss among US adults aged 20 to 69. Who has hearing loss? 14% of adults aged 20-69 in 2011-2012. Prevalence of hearing loss has declined slightly from about 16% in 1999-2004.”
The caption around the picture reads “What is Representation? Representation is the portrayal of another culture or people/person in media that is done respectfully and not stereotyped.
Why is Deaf representation so important? Approximately 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss (Hearing Loss Association of America). Good Deaf and Hard of Hearing Representation can be very validating to those in the community because they can see themselves in these characters. Accurate representation can be educational for people outside the Deaf community to learn more about it in a non-stereotyped way.” / end ID 2]
[ID 3: Photo of the National Association of the Deaf logo.
The caption over the logo reads “ According to the National Association for the Deaf (NDA) proper media portrait of deafness should include:
The production should be accessible. Clear cooperation between Deaf individuals and all media personnel, interpreters, etc.
All terminology, when referring to Deaf or Hard of Hearing people, should be up-to date and not offensive.
All descriptions of Deaf individuals should be based on the people’s personalities and not be patronizing by including terms like they are “overcoming,” “inspiring,” “special,” etc.
Media should listen to the knowledge and ideas from those in the Deaf or Hard of Hearing communities, and not from those outside the community (even if meant well).
Media should make conscious steps to work with the other groups a Deaf individual might be part of such as other cultures, religions, ethnicities, sexualities, etc.
All media should be made accessible and available for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing folks.
/End ID 3]
[ID 4: In the Background is the poster for the movie “Coda.” Four people are looking into the camera and holding up the sign for “I love you.”
The caption over the poster reads “Recently, there has been an increase in the general public’s interest in Deaf stories with the success of the Movie “CODA” (2021)... But we still have a long way to go with Deaf Rep…” /end ID 4]
[ID 5: The image shows two sheets taken from the Deaf West theater. One shows What TV genres see the most and least Deaf representation? While the other is on what types of Deaf characters have hearing audiences seen represented in media.
At the top the caption reads “According to NRG and the Deaf West Theater…”
The caption below the charts reads “Depending on the type or genre of media an individual consumes may determine how much exposure they get to seeing Deaf people represented.
Even within the already small portion of Deaf people represented, there are even smaller subsections of minorities shown less in the Media.” /end ID 5]
[ID 6: The screen shot is of the NRG webpage article “NRG and Deaf West Theatre release roundtable film on Deaf representation”
The caption above the image reads “Linked below is a video from NRG and The Deaf West Theater where they are interviewing Deaf people in the creative industry (Writers, directors, actors, ect.) talking about their experiences with and the state of Deaf representation in today’s media. https://www.nrgmr.com/our-thinking/entertainment/nrg-and-deaf-west-theatre-release-roundtable-film-on-deaf-representation/” /end ID 6]
[ID 7: Caption at the top reads “Good examples of Deaf representation!”
Below we have pictures of 4 different Deaf characters. On the top left is Theo from Only Murders in the Building. Top right is Jackie from Craig of the creek. Bottom left is Marvel comics Hawkeye. And on the bottom left is Daphne from Switched at birth. /end ID 7]
[ID 8: Caption at the top reads “My personal favorite… Linda Bove (Sesame street from 1971-2002)”
Below the caption are 16 pictures of Linda throughout her time while on sesame street. Mostly she is with her co-star Bob. /end ID 8]
Resources:
Hi!!! I love your writing. You aré an amazing writer. Can you do a one shot for the avengers where i just joined the team and they doubt me and tease me because i’m really small like 4'11. But i prove them wrong with my fighting skills ( i’m like black widow ). Thank you so much if you can ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Announcements: Sorry its a little short, but I hope you all enjoy! Warnings: Fight scenes.
“Get down!” You yelled as you tackled Hawkeye to the floor.
“Thanks, kid!” Yelled back as he began shooting off more arrows in the enemy’s direction.
You bit your tongue as you thought about calling him some very rude names. The thing was, you weren’t a ‘kid’, you were just short. Only about 4’ 11’’ and to everyone else it only gave them something to tease about. It also didn’t help very much that you were the newest edition to the Avengers, so it was just comments like, “Do you need help reaching the door handle?” or names like, “Shortstop,” and “Little grasshopper,” it sucked.
You were jolted from your thoughts as the ground near your feet exploded, causing you to take cover once again. The Avengers had gotten a tip that a major weapons deal involving HYDRA would be going on at this location. Good news, the tip was real, bad news, the tip was real and now was shooting in the general direction of your face. You looked around to find the weapon in question but couldn’t see it from your vantage point. Sighing you came up to a crouching position and ran quickly, firing blindly into the direction of the enemy and came to a stop next to more crates. Looking around again, you still didn’t see anything.
Looking down you switched out the magazine of your gun and was about to run to another spot when your eyes landed on the box directly at eye level. It was the symbol for HYDRA.
You chuckled as you said into your earpiece, “Y'know, for a very secret evil organization, you think that they would stop putting their very specific looking logo on everything.”
Someone, you thought Steve, “Like we can talk. Our headquarters in a gigantic ugly tower in the middle of New York with a huge “A” on the front of it.“
"Hey,” replied Tony, “It’s not ugly, its modern and you’re just old.”
“Anywho,” you said before anything went too far, “I think its the weapon. So I’m gonna open it and play with my new toy.”
“Ooh,” Natasha said, “Hopefully its something small so you can actually hold it.”
Again, you had to hold the urge to tell them all to shove it, but you managed. At least you had decency.
You made quick work of the lock on top and opened the case. Inside looked a fairly normal looking gun, except for the fact that parts of it were glowing with a soft red light.
“Oh yeah,” you whispered.
Grabbing it you aimed it at a random villain and pulled the trigger. An almost blinding red light came streaking from the tip and took the henchmen down. Sadly it also took you down with the recoil, making you fall flat on your butt.
Thor came rushing over, “Let me help you, small one.”
“I don’t need help,” you said, as you shot someone sneaking up on the god of thunder.
And all of a sudden, it seemed like it was just you and random targets in the room, shooting everything that moved and wasn’t wearing an outrageous costume. It was just you twirling around the floor like a lethal dancer on stage. And soon, there were no more targets, just you, and then your new teammates peeking carefully out from different points of cover. You could tell from the looks on their faces that some things had changed on their thoughts of you. In that moment, you knew that you had earned your right to respect. No more were the days of constant name calling and condescending tones, today, you were an Avenger.
You grin at their cautious faces, “I’m keeping the gun.”
One-Shot request: can you do a one shot where you have healing powers but you can’t Heal yourself? and then one of the avengers gets really injured so you have to use all your powers on them to save their life and you almost die but the rest of them nurse you back to health? sorry if that didn’t make sense haha Announcements: I hope you guys enjoy! Warnings: Near death experience Word Count: 833 When will the bad guys ever learn?
Hopefully soon because this was getting annoying. And tiring, you hadn’t slept all that much in the past week and neither had the rest of your team, the Avengers. Although, you thought you had more of the right to complain than the rest of them. Your ability to heal others had you constantly on your toes and healing broken bones, cuts, and any other major injury you could think of. It was a sad fact that you couldn’t heal yourself which meant that you had plenty of cuts and bruises yourself that would take time to go away. You complained silently to yourself about the unfairness of it all as you dodged bullets and hid behind the corner. SHEILD had intercepted a transmission a week earlier detailing a major weapons deal for HYDRA going on in Cairo. And, of course, even with Tony asking the HYDRA agents nicely to put their guns down, they didn’t, and instead decided to start pointing them at your faces. And so you played the role of battle field nurse, dealing out a few good punches of your own. But you could feel it, the old familiar fatigue of using your gift too much, draining you slowly. But you fought through it as usual, making your way to Steve whose side was bleeding slightly from being grazed by one of the many stray bullets flying throughout the room. But, then, out of the corner of your eye you saw it. One of the agents had pulled out the weapon intended for sale, a hand-held laser canon or something, and pointed it at Clint’s back. You, Tony, and Natasha had seen the exact same thing and simultaneously dove for the exposed Avenger but were all too late. The laser ripped through his body as if it were nothing. You stood there for a second, just staring, but snapped back into focus and ran for Clint, who was lying still on the floor. Other things around you were drowned out, you faintly registered Natasha taking the shooter down, and the rest of the Avengers ending the fight, as you checked for a pulse. It was faint, but it was there. Breathing out a sigh of relief your hands started to glow with the usual warm, soft light as you began using your gift on Clint. Soon, however, your vision started to fade, the blackness tugging on your consciousness, but still you pushed. This injury wasn’t like anything you’ve done before, and it was still too critical to stop going. The gash on Clint’s stomach slowly began to close, but you didn’t get to see the end result, as you fell backwards, embracing the sweet, sweet grips of unconsciousness. —- You opened your eyes slightly, but the light hurt of the room hurt too much so instead you listened, “Y/Ns going to be fine, none of this is your fault, Clint,” you wanted to say something but soon fell back asleep. Clint was still healing and in the hospital bed next to yours, which you found out very quickly was a bad idea. He was a talker, a very, very big talker, most of the talking was him saying sorry about you being in the hospital even after the multiple times of you saying it wasn’t his fault. Eventually he relaxed and soon he was released from the restraints of his bed and left you to be the only one in a hospital gown. Over the next week the rest of the Avengers came in and out, bringing gifts and real food. Natasha and Tony talked with you about the latest gossip, Steve brought you hot chicken soup, Bruce brought you new books, Thor told stories about Asgard, and Clint watched television with you. All in all it was a nice week of recovering. —- A few days later and it was your last day in the hospital, and you were thankful, but it was almost hard to leave. Over the week you had the chance to catch up on your rest. It was also nice to have someone heal you for once. You were about to put your actual clothes on when Steve entered the room. “Hey, Y/N. It’s just that, well, Loki is back in town and he’s causing a bit of havoc downtown and we were wondering if you were feeling up to a fight. If not that’s ok but we could use the help.” You looked longingly at the bed but nodded your head, “Yeah. Let me get dressed and I’ll meet you guys downtown.” You went to the drawer and grabbed your clothes, “Just, don’t any of you go getting hurt while I’m not there.” “Sounds good, see you then,” and with that Steve left the room. With one last glance at the bed you sighed and changed. You tried to complain a bit less this time.

We must return to traditional values Bishova
Kate buying Thunderbolts Merch part 2:
I haven't been able to stop thinking about this since I saw the Thunderbolts cereal poster.
So here's an edit of Kate after buying a cereal she doesn't like just because Yelena is on the box
Bishova on a chase until they realize that both are in the other car
Officially AI has displaced me from doing Bishova manips.
My relationship with AI is love-hate, but it is officially serving to feed my delulu.
Yelena returning home with the guinea pig she saved from the building she herself blew up
Seriously, someone needs to take away my access to video AI's or I'll end up making a Bishova Romcom. (Honestly it doesn't look as bad as I thought it was going to be)
My expectations for Avengers 5 are like:
