maybe saying goodbye to my most oldest and beloved fandom.
I don't want to feel alone on this one
but who's been a nightmare before christmas fan since the 90's ?
Yeah I'm a fan of a movie since I was 5 years old (1999)
And before I felt alone to be the only one in my french town to know it actually existed (and loved it).
But now I feel alone because the fandom has grew (I still view it possitivally don't worry ^^) but I can't seem to connect with the artistic and movie fans.
Maybe I should quit it, because I feel like a drop in the ocean which is this fandom since it has grew from zero to hero, before it was easy, it was what made me, well me! But I can’t just give up on my all time favorite childhood movie! especially the one where I dare to defy my parents otherprotection by watching it over and over non stop while they were like “Stop watching it! You’ll have nightmares!”.
And oh! For some, the tears trigger in a disney licence were or bambi’s mom or mufasa’s deaths (or both) , to me both of them got a stupid “meh!” from my young simple minded 5 years old self, to me it was when an army guy blow up jack in the sky and when the werewolf howled while sheding a tear that got my breaking point (and I wouldn’t stop crying until Jack got back up with his confidence).
But I can’t seems to connect with no one of the fandom with that because online I don’t know what curse is upon me, or in the street and I see someone nearby in the fandom and we cross eyes, they don’t stop by to talk a little (even a tiny bit about it) (of course street talk is the most of the stranger danger happening in all the minds I understand that don’t worry^^) but ...... it seems that I can’t have a connection with the fandom. I like the lone wolf (if not the grizabella) of the fandom. So I kinda felt a tiny weedy bit pissed to not have connection with the large growing fandom, I’m like an unknown veteran, the “thanks for giving me your fan love but now I’m popular, bye!” rejected.
It’s sad............

My one hope after Wendell & Wild is that Henry Selick finally starts getting the credit he deserves. Tim Burton did not make Nightmare Before Christmas and he didn’t make Coraline or any of those other movies, that was all Henry and it’s about time people say his name instead

Hey babes the movie “Wendell & Wild” is out on Netflix now, how about you support a film with a mostly black cast, a canonically trans character, stop-motion animation which is incredibly hard to do and rare to find, a unique style and more important than all of that: an original story and idea. It’s a very fun family film for older kids/ preteens but it did so many things that will have so many groups boycott it. So give it a watchy-watch and then yell about it on twitter or tiktok or whatever you cool people use. Do it for me! <3

Synopsis

Idk why but I think I just came up with a random idea for a Wendell and Wild oc because I see other people doing it and I wanna join in because A) I love making ocs and B) it sounds fun!
Anyways, what I had in mind is that she's just a student at RBC that's really into witchcraft and stuff that relates to things of that nature! She's energetic and eccentric, and wants to hang out with Kat because well, she's a Hell Maiden and has a connection to demons. Literally the only reason why she goes to RBC is because it's the only school she could really go to, but she doesn't mind!
This is like the first time I've openly talked about oc plans that aren't to friends/mutuals so yeah, this might be a little bit disorganized! That's fine though! I really don't mind rambling about ideas so, that's an instant plus!

Hello Wendell and Wild fandom I am here to drop a silly little headcanon about the demon bros because they're silly and I love them!
I have a headcanon that Wendell and Wild in fact are both quite talented with cosmetics and enjoy applying makeup on people and on themselves! The best part about this is that I have evidence to back this headcanon up! Wendell and Wild like, applied makeup on some of the undead council members and Father Bests literally said "your work is remarkable!" so yeah! I also just like the idea of Wendell and Wild in eyeliner I think it just suits them in a way!
I can also imagine Wendell and Wild doing makeup with Kat, because sometimes putting on makeup with your demon uncle figures sounds fun!
