I’m bored so my headcanons for some of the lords:
01 “Valiant One” : Really likes musics like classical or the music you would find in remuria
02 “Jade Maiden”: She hates apologizing with words so instead offers her Jade as a form of apology.
03 “Weaver of Secrets”: she would get ALL the gossip from her siblings, she knew everything about everyone but never uttered a word. Even kukulkan has come to her with things he wanted to get off his chest, she’s like a therapist in a way.
06 "He Who Shakes the Earth Like Thunder in His Wrath": LOVES making a entrance. Every time he would be the last one to attend and all of a sudden thunderstruck by AC/DC would start playing /hj
08 “Priestess of Floral Candles and Skyborne Feathers": Likes to groom the feathers and scales of her siblings, especially those who lack motivation to properly take care of themselves (cough cough 01 and 04). Best and quickest flyer among the thirteen lords.
09 “Chronicler of the End times” (My queen who I have way to long of a list for but I’ll just throw out one hc): Secretly loves reading books of fiction, often sneaking away to get her hands on stories written by dragons or even humans. (Kinda like Citlali with her light novels)
10 “Undying Wings of Lofty Isolation": He often did his own thing, preferring to be along then deal with the drama that the other lords dealt with. Lazy to the bone and attended meetings once every blue moon.
13 “Bone Breaker”: being the youngest meant he was constantly overshadowed by everyone thus resulting in him trying to prove himself as a leader. Very serious and often trying to mimic 01’s behaviors as he practically idolizes him.
So I was reading Och-Kan’s notes on Ixlel again (no, I’m totally not starving for content…don’t look at me like that😞) and this part came up
Now we all know she told him information about the draconic civilization such as the goals that they achieve. We now know one of the things that the things that Och-Kan censored with “(…)” which is the research on phlogistoniztion of life. Why did he feel the need to redact the important things in his diary… I do not know (ok I know it was Hoyo trying to keep stuff hidden but just imagining him personally redacting info is just funny)
Anyway, going back to my main topic, Do yall think she showed him the end times? Like what else would he be so scared about.
“Ink he literally stated that the dragons might take back power cause they have all these super cool tools that, we the lore researchers, do not know.” Hush, that’s not what I’m taking about.
Yes those scared him but what caught my attention was in the second paragraph “The memories she possesses”. Och-kan be specific, you’re not giving us much to work with… sure he could be referring to her memories of the dragon era but what if it’s memories of the end. I don’t know about y’all but when I think of a fortune teller or someone who can see outcomes, I think about someone who sees EVERY outcome imaginable. What if one of those outcomes was where dragons do regain power… that is more likely to scare Och-Kan so bad into wanting to strip her of her authority as fast as possible.
She’s a chronicler of the end times with a “s” at the end meaning that there is more than one end. Also how far does it go, is it apocalyptic end times or like if I was to go up against her in uno and she would know the outcome before we even even played… shit now my brain is starting to hurt from what even “End times” defines.

How can I tie this to Natlan and possibly Xiuhcoatl rebirth.
Well one of the ingredients was flesh from the “immortal monster” of Mare Jivari, which is in natlan. I also found it interesting how to create life you need three ingredients. Sighhhhhh Hoyo I see what you’re doing, stop with the number three. Also could this possibly tie to how och-kan was created (maybe the other Dragonlords too??)
I mean dragon blood (check), flesh from the monster (check possibly), and an embryo. We don’t know if it’s exactly one of Rhine’s embryo or if it could truly be ANY embryo.
ALSO NAME DROP OF THE SHADE OF LIFE??AKA NABERIUS???

I can’t believe 5.6 is dropping in a 3 days… I’m still in 5.5
Chat how come this patch moved past so fast but 5.4 felt like I aged 20 years☹️. Kukulkan, Gabriel the Destroyer (my little one), Xiuhcoatl, the source servants…guys I’m not ready to move on.
On the other hand, 5.6 has a chance of bringing us Ajaw lore or at least dragon lore from the new event in Fontaine. Plus Mondstadt too.
I’m bored out of my mind in class right now so I decided to compose a small list of my biggest natlan “What if”s. Bare with me 🙏
Starting strong with what if Ixlel joined the natlan human gang. It technically could work if she foresaw the fate of tollan so what if she ran off. Not sure how big the age difference between the cousins (her and Och-kan have) but I like to assume it’s not too big so what if Ixlel and Och-Kan both were from the same human tribe
How much different would it be if Kukulkan was the one to get infected by the abyss instead of Xiuhcoatl. Would Och-Kan even exist. What if in this scenario, the lords were only created to help kukulkan and with each lord failing, Xiuhcoatl created another one (he still stopped at 13 cause it was getting expensive, lmao).
I’ve kinda talked about this but what if instead of admiration, Och-Kan felt unbelievable jealousy and hate. Xbalanque literally took everything from him, his BIRTH purpose, his father, like I’m just saying I would feel hatred like nobody before.
What if Och-Kan was never released to the humans. I know in the notes Kukulkan released him cause the lords wanted to kill Och-Kan but what if he was raised among the dragons. How different would the human gang be, would Yunpanqui have even joined?? OH BETTER YET, his hatred was turned on Humans for all THEY have done when they (if the narrative still went as it should) stormed Tollan, killing the lords.
I know the titles that the lords have are just titles but I like to believe are more significant then that where it be their purpose or a hit at their fates so what if the titles were switched around. (I mean the titles are LITERALLY their names too so there is NO WAY they are not important to the characters)
Ima stop here for now but guys, think about it. The butterfly effect and how different things could have turned out… I’m just saying.
Guys can we please draw Xiuhcoatl like the blue eyed freak he is 🙏 (I’m joking I love blue eyed people)
This isn’t confirmed or anything but if we follow the pattern of Ixlel and Ajaw it’s safe to assume that the other lords also bare blue eyes. Which only means Xiuhcoatl does too…
“Ink, kukulkan doesn’t have blue eyes.” Yeah but he also isn’t Xiuhcoatl’s offspring plus he has yellow eyes which Och-Kan follows
I’m just saying guys, blue eyed Xiuhcoatl…

My thoughts on the live stream:
Shit y’all, we are in the end game. It seems like they are using Nod-Krai to tie up any loose ends of the story and honestly I’m so scared.
They also seem to be taking inspiration from Norse and Celtic mythologies for this region. (Lowkey hyped and I can use this as my excuse to finally research both myths)
As for the npcs… THEY LOOK AMAZING?!!
This fire looking dude is definitely from the “Wild Hunt” and I can’t begin to tell y’all how hyped I am for it. Out of every group so far, the Wild Hunt is my favorite. As for the other npc, she’s definitely from the frost moons.
Anyway I don’t have too much more to say as I don’t want to spoil the entire stream so you guys go watch it. OH WAIT BEFORE YOU DO!! Don’t forget to redeem the mini codes (those teasers leading up to the stream) and this new one before 5/3

I haven’t had the chance to talk about this so it’s now or never. I am a definite believer of Ajaw being CL-10 but I don’t really have much concrete proof (at least I think) as most of it is based on how I view Ajaw and the behaviors I observed.
First thing that threw me instantly off the idea that Ajaw is 04 is merely 02’s comment on 04 being old and decrepit. Yes, disdainful and decadent are both traits that Ajaw has but at the same time I fear most of the lord have these two traits. Ajaw constantly boosts about being almighty and powerful, and sure CL-02 could be just making a jab at 04, but being described as old and decrepit isn’t every almighty and powerful, you know?
Secondly CL-10’s behavior and title. Ajaw is fairly foolish if I had to say so myself, his greed is genuinely unmatched and his pride/ego is unshakable. With how CL-10 got sealed up, aka via getting fooled by some humans with a fake jade, it seems to me very in theme of Ajaw’s over all personality.
As for his title, I have a theory that I may discuss more in depth in another post when I get the chance, but I think the titles genuinely mean something to the lords. The best example of this is Ixlel (Ink goes one day without mentioning her pooks? Challenge failed) HEAR ME OUT. Ixlel is known as the Chronicler of the End times and if I do say so myself that’s a pretty important part of her character. She literally experienced the end times of dragons first hand and if I had to guess she saw them hence why she fled to Och-Kan in order to survive. Back to Ajaw, he suffered INTENSE isolation. Sealed up in god knows where with little hope of ever meeting any living being again, yeah pretty isolated. Now let’s compare both of the titles:
I’m sure someone can make an arguable point for 04’s title (please someone do cause I genuinely can’t think of anything) but It is more clear to me with 10’s. “Undying Wings of Lofty Isolation” in other words “can’t die dragon of high/resilient/noble/other synonyms for lofty Isolation”. We sure know as hell that Ajaw isn’t dying anytime soon and I’m bringing back the fact that Ajaw was definitely isolated for an unknown period of time.
Anyway yap time over, in summary this is more or less why I believe Ajaw is 10 and not 04. If someone wants to tell me more or argue (not aggressive way, I love seeing other peoples povs) let me know ❤️
When my friend told me that Shinji and Kaworu were gay, I didn’t expect GAY. Like he showed up randomly and already confessed that he loves Shinji 10 minutes into the episode (his first appearance fyi).
WHERE DID HE COME FROM??? Reminds me of a certain someone who just happened to have also shown up from nowhere and steal the main character’s heart *cough cough Xbalanque*

Ok so you know prince of Egypt and the song “Deliver Us” hear me out. The part with the mom and baby Moses but make it Kukulkan and Och-Kan.

I might be looking to deep into this but has anyone played the new Event yet? I was playing Kinich’s game mode and noticed how his layout almost looks like a temple…
For reference:
Is it just me or does that mark in the middle look to much like Ajaw’s little cheek blush (???). Also the lining around the stairs reminds me of the same marks on Ixlel’s statue. Just saying, imagine this is the same temple/ruin that kinich found Ajaw.
All this in some random side event with no lore (not even dialogue) attached to it, then again this feels like something hoyo would do.
I give up on my AP computer science class, doing my last project on fucking Hatsune Miku. My teacher can take it or leave it… he better take it.
(He said it was free range as long as it was a computing innovation and a software counts as that, plus she’s fitting all the criteria. Miku give me a good grade cause I know I will fail the next test tomorrow🙏)
I just came to the most heartbreaking realization. Ixlel really did think that she was the last one left.
Whoever Ajaw was supposed to be (I think he’s ten) was already claimed as dead. She couldn’t have known about him still being alive hence her saying that we, the chosen of dragons, could be the only one to put her out of her misery
She truly had nobody else…
(Chapter two is gonna be a hard read guys, I’m already feeling my heart ache and I’m the one who’s writing it)
Does anyone have any voice claims on Natlan lore Characters? I have a few but not for all so I’m curious what you guys think they would sound like.

Kukulkan (Waxaklahun Ubah Kan) as Smaug from the Hobbit movies
Yunpanqui as Ice Bear from We Bare Bears (when he is more chill)
CL-04 as Mordecai from LackADaisy
Lianca as Sevika from Arcane
CL-08 as Rhaenyra Targaryen from House of The Dragon
Ok so I feel incredibly stupid for not pressing on the icons but it tells us exactly what they are and from what I gathered we will be getting lore on obviously nod-Krai, fatui, the adventures guild, the knights of favonious, a snow fae that followed the first cryo archon, and a lot more.

Guys.. it’s so pretty. Seems like Hiisi Islands are gonna be one of the subregions in Nod-Krai and it’s so gorgeous. Someone tell the environment designers that they deserve a pat on the back (they deserve more)
Now, this insanity that I have no theories on currently. (There are more so please check out the official website, I couldn’t fit them in this post cause I use the app which won’t let you post more then ten images)
I’m genuinely lost on what they mean and the only two I could actually form some thoughts on are these two below:

Oh, when 5.5 hits and we are like a week into the update, I will post my first multi chapter fic about the dragons. I’ve been cooking this fic up for like the past month and I’m actually so excited to start writing it. I’m a bit nervous to start a multi-chapter fic considering how I tend to lose interest in things that I do (glances at all my unfinished art works) so if anyone has tips on how to stay motivated to finish something, I would really appreciate it
Just got the craziest dream-like idea but like what if some people were to just grab a world quest and do a whole fan voice over for it. It would be nice for people who don’t like to read (cough cough a friend I know who drives me up the wall [I love them]).
Like imagine a voice over for the Ochkanatlan world quest or even just Ixlel’s quest. That would be so fire.
This might be a hot take but every time someone hates on Natlan by comparing it to Fontaine, a angel loses its wings.
Granted I have not finished the Fontaine archon quest so I guess I can’t speak too much on it but so far I noticed the biggest differences between the two nations is that Fontaine is concentrated on current characters while Natlan is concentrated on the history of the land.
Do I wish more of the Natlan characters like Mavuika would be more fleshed out and interesting? Yes, it would be nice. Would it help the story more? Maybe. But again the current characters are not the point of what Natlan is.
Natlan as a whole focuses so much on its history and origins. All their traditions and tribes came from the original hero’s, the ancient names, the resurrection, the gadgets and tools they use, etc. Everything that Natlan is, mostly based on its history and lore.
I’ve noticed a trend with those who complain that Natlan is the worst nation and it’s those same people who beg for a skip button… why are you playing a STORY BASED game if you don’t want to read (not even cause most quests outside small side quests and world quests are voiced).
Let me make it clear, Natlan has flaws. It does. The stereotypes and lack of character development but it’s not the worst nation. With what it lacks, it makes up with the story. The lore within it is so immersive and huge, down to lore drops after lore drops about dragons to a finding out a normal human killed a sovereign and then made a deal with a shade who we later come face to face with in the AQ. 
Anyway rant over, I needed to get this out before I lost my mind.
It’s official, the 5 day count down until 5.5 drops are y’all ready for the most lore heavy update that Genshin has yet to throw at us.

Has anyone questioned Waxaklahun’s wings? They are basically absent in his model from 5.2 World quest, seemingly replaced by a secret source mechanism rather then them being feathery and well—wings— like in the mural of him.
I have a major theory about this but not enough to prove it to be correct. Hear me out, we all know that he is desperate and down right obsessed with evolution as he foresaw the down fall of dragons when the Vishaps stopped evolving—hence leading to the creation of Och-Kan— but what if its not just the future generations but older ones too… I present you with “Regressive Evolution”. Now before anyone reminds me that dragons can shift and change forms, it still does not make sense from him to have a mechanical version of wings (if they even are wings) when he has his own already.
Totally random but i rewatched mean girls (the movie not musical) and you guys know the scene with Regina rushing in to her room screaming while finding and writing in her burn book. A thought occurred to me and as Ixlel’s No.1 Fan, I must speak out.
Hear me out Ixlel (in the place of Regina) and Och-kan (in place of Katy).

Genshin randomly lore bombing us with the three moons lore!?
So genshin just dropped a web event that revealed ALOT about the moon sisters. I personally am more of a Dragon Lore person then a Three Moons lore so I know less about this topic.
But from what I gathered there were three moons, one for eternity. Eternity was heavily tied to Inazuma so I wonder how big of a connection it has to the land, much less Ei herself. It could also explain the statue that is in the main city which looked nothing like Ei or Makoto.
Then there is the Iridescent moon which is tied to the Crimson moon. This might sound weird but I wonder if it has any connections to the Iridescent inscriptions that the dragons used. Ixlel seemed to have known about the moons with something that fell from them so maybe that something is the material that the inscriptions are made out off. They were used to wield phlogiston so it’s unlikely that they were made from phlogiston.
The last moon, the Frost moon, stopped turning causing nations to fall. Looking at the image, this happened after the Iridescent/Crimson Moon fell into the abyss. The Frost moon is probably connected to Nod-Krai and maybe Sneznyha considering the name alone. We know that Nod-Krai worships some lunar deity (if not one when many) so this might be the moon that they worship.
After these three moons fell, it was stated a new moon arose and my personal theory on it is that it is our old friend, Welkin Moon. The other image is what I think, a teaser for Nod-Krai’s terrain, I don’t have to many thoughts about it other than that it’s most definitely mountainous.
Now what did capture my attention was the Teyvat Solar (lunar???) System.
I counted around 11 planets and obviously the three moons. If I’m being honest, I do not have a clue about which one is Teyvat.
Anyway that’s my little rant and thoughts on this insane of a lore bomb that Genshin choice to drop on us. What are anyone else’s thoughts about this? Like I mentioned earlier, my expertise lay with the dragons more then they do with the moons so if any lore is inaccurate or if something I said had already been confirmed, let me know ^^
