First of two pages of a black and white traditionally inked silent comic featuring Jimmy and Curly from Mouthwashing. The first page is a flashback.
Panel 1: The outside of a beaten up apartment house. On the balcony Jimmy is leaning onto the railing with a beer can and cigarette in one hand. Behind him, Curly is exiting the flat, also with a can of beer.
Panel 2: A closer look at Jimmy drinking his beer. Curly's arms and chest appear on the right side of the panel, but his face is out of frame. He seems to be saying something but his words are unintelligible, represented by squiggly lines.
Panel 3: Closeup of Jimmy. He throws a dull glance in Curly's direction.
Panel 4: Same closeup of Jimmy, but he is now fully turning his head to look at Curly, eyes wide in surprise, the background turning to a shocked black. He even brings his beer can and cigarette closer to him.
Panel 5: Closeup of Curly. He seems to be explaining something but once again his words blur into squiggly lines. His entire face, save for his left eye, is blacked out in broad pen strokes.

The second page of the comic takes place in the game's present timeline.
Panel 1: Jimmy's hand holds up the remains of Curly's burnt employee card. The half supposedly displaying his image is entirely missing, and Curly's post-crash injured face is seen across the damaged edges, his remaining left eye staring up onto the viewer/Jimmy, mouth agape. He has speech bubbles around him, but they're all empty. Next to him, in the lower left corner of the panel, Anya's long black hair can be seen.
Panel 2: Jimmy leans in above Curly, his hand holding the card is shaking, sweat is running down his cheek and forehead, his expression deeply shocked. His background is solid black, only broken up by Curly's empty speech bubbles.
