YOU get it.
I don't know where Slay the Princess is going but the transgender vibe are insane.
You're stuck in a mental-like world with voices in your head. The main one is gender you as a man and telling you to go in the basement and kill the woman that is there. "It's for the sake of the world", he says.
You can try to ignore the basement and the whole thing but you keep coming back to it. You can't avoid the ordeal. There's a woman trapped there, seemingly by the man "doing it for your own good" voice in your head. She wants to get out of this closet basement but she can't if you don't want her to leave.
You can try to kill this woman in your basement, to get rid of her, but the loop continues, only more painful and violent than before. You quickly realize that her torment is your torment. There's no way out of this. You have no face. You don't know yourself, only the male role imposed on you by the Voice. You don't know the princess. You don't understand what's going on, what's happening to you. But by repeating the loop, by trying to know more about Her, you start to understand, to know more about You. Maybe by reaching a true understanding of each other you'll be able to break her your chains.
And then, together, finally able to truly love yourselves, you'll be able to leave this basement and see the world.
