I really really really need to say that Neil didn't send a hit on Grayson because Jean said he hated him or because Jean got in a fight with him.
Neil sent out that hit because Jean compared Grayson to Drake.
He wouldn't have done it otherwise. He did it because he knows what Drake did to Andrew, and he knew that Jean knows what Drake did to Andrew, and he knew that Jean wouldn't compare anyone to Drake unless he meant it.
He did what he canonically would've done to Drake had Aaron not been faster.
Jean: Uh, I hate this guy
Neil, popping out of nowhere: Do you want me to kill him? I can kill him. Ask me to kill him.
neil with jean vs neil with literally anyone else
based on this post by @joejhang
ok i get this But the thing is that neil wouldn't have been Who He Is if he'd been raised in the nest yf like he probably would have ended up in precisely the same position as jean if he'd been there all his life like he was intended to be so in order for him to bring jean the hope he ultimately ended up providing he needed to get out and grow up precisely the way he did, in this essay i will
Had to sit down because,, Neil is Jean’s misplaced forever partner. He got ONE hint at what Grayson did and got rid of him for good. Imagine how different things would’ve been for Jean if Neil had always been by his side. You know what Neil would’ve brought to the nest? Hope.
the way any combination between neil, andrew, jean and kevin works is so funny you can pair any of them or all of them it just works
Let’s talk about the fact that Nora said that in Neil and Jean are forever partners and would end up together and any other life, but then also said that Jean died in every draft other than the one we got. Is this insinuating that if Neil and Jean ever did get together, it wouldn’t last and that Jean would die, leaving Neil alone?
