My first ("official") fanart of Link.
I have been in love with the Zelda series for YEARS and I've always wanted to draw Link. I'd lost my motivation for drawing for quite a long time but Breath of the Wild was part of the reason why I picked it up again. So, as a tribute to that, have this drawing of Link as my first attempt at grey-scale-colouring! (I'm still figuring that one out so the execution is quite clumsy but I don't care)

I’ve been playing a lot of the new Legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom. It’s really fun and cool to play, but it’s super similar to breath of the wild. I keep forgetting i haven’t unlocked the paraglider and jumping off cliffs. It’s honestly worrying me out a bit. I love the game though and most of the characters, so I made some wierd fanart. It's the tiny details that utterly devastate, huh?
I noticed today that when Link goes into the Fire Sanctuary, you can visibly see how tired he is.
Usually when he enters a dungeon he makes this face, getting a bit more intense with each new dungeon he encounters:
But by the time he gets to the sixth one, the Fire Sanctuary, he does this.
Oh, my poor bean.
He is just so, so tired and you can see it in his face, how he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath and physically has to prepare himself. He's exhausted. He doesn't want to go through another dungeon, another boss fight, another thing that will keep him from Zelda. But he knows he has to.
So he takes a moment, allows himself a single deep sigh, and then gets to work. especially after having just received heaping verbal abuse from Scrapper; Link's mental state must be devastating right then

Some marker sketches from last year that I really liked.
There's been about 4 or 5 puppet Zeldas, so the boys need to catch up.
This game just keeps on giving, and it hasn't even launched yet.
I have always head-cannoned that the kokiri were an isolated appearance.
They they've only ever been koroks, except for that one time they became a village that raised a hero.
That the Great Deku Tree, surrounded by korok forest children, decided to take in the orphaned infant hylian before him. That he asked the forest spirits to appear as hylian-like children to make Link feel more comfortable and less lonely as he grew up.
(Mido must have missed the memo).
