Self Concept in Daily Life

hi lovelies ✰

Today I wanna talk about little ways you can incorporate self concept into your daily life. But first…

What is self concept?

self concept is the concept you have of yourself (wow nice). It is essentially how you think of yourself, as well as yourself in relation to other people or things. It is a large part of manifestation as it explains who you are and what you think you are worthy of. Self concept is how you enter the state / embody the version of yourself that has whatever you desire.

Like you know the common phrase of having someone or something on a pedestal? you viewing something or someone as unattainable or too good for you like that is part of your self concept. In turn, putting yourself on the pedestal is also self concept - a good very good self concept! Since your subconscious/ dominant thoughts is what manifests self concept is pivotal to your manifestations, both in being able to manifest and maintain your manifestations.

For example if you believe you are a master manifester but also believe relationships never work out for you, you may be able to manifest your SP into your life and even a relationship, but struggle to maintain it/them. Now maintenance may sound scary and like a lot of work - it isn’t, it is just having the inner belief that you are worthy of whatever you want/ wish. Remember manifestation isn’t hard!!

Now that we know what self concept is, how can we work on it?

A large part of self concept is affirmations, perhaps listening to music that makes you feel like that bitch/ royalty. Just doing the things that make you feel good and reminding yourself that this is how you deserve to feel all the time.

When focusing on self concept in relation to specific manifestations it may help to do certain techniques to rewrite the neural pathways you have previously in your life created via thoughts and experiences that were negative - such as that relationships never work out for you, you need to work hard for money etc.

techniques such as robotic affirming, scripting, vision/mood boards, mirror work, sleep tapes, even drawing your manifestations etc…

remember, manifesting should not feel difficult or inconvenient, its about feeling good and worthy!

Self concept in daily life?

As someone who has suffered with depression for a long time, working on my self concept was hard but oh my god has it helped so much. One little way i helped my self concept without even realising it was in relation to chores - specifically cleaning. I came across a tiktok - not to do with manifestation at all - which explained that one way to help you do chores is to not look at them as annoying tasks that need to get done, but rather as sort of a gift to yourself. I know it sounds silly but listen:

I clean my room because i deserve to live in a clean environment.

I buy my groceries because i deserve to eat well.

I take care of my skin because i deserve to look good

Try some out on some things you “have to” do.

I worked with these as little affirmations (usually just the parts in pink), and it not only helped me do my chores but bettered my self concept. it was a start to understanding that i am worth good things and a good life.

So to conclude/TLDR:

the way you perceive yourself and what you are worthy is your self concept.

Your self concept is a large part of your dominant thoughts.

Dominant thoughts manifest in 3D.

You can change and improve your self concept with a variety of techniques, focusing on making you feel good and worthy, also using affirmations to rewire your dominant thoughts.

soo i thought of a way to make religion and the law of assumption coexist which was slightly frustrating because religion is my only limit while loass has none. so i decided to set boundaries to separate my desires from my needs! i am muslim but i guess this also applies to christians or other people of other religions who have doubts, anywayyy !!

in islam, we are told to share our desires with god by praying (and ofc not to self-proclaim god). However, in the law of assumption, the fact is that we have our desires instantly in our imagination and that we live in the end by not caring about them anymore. this leads to not wanting to "ask" for this desire anymore, which is contradictory.

Here is my solution : i decided to separate my desires into two categories ; IMPORTANT desires to ask for and futile desires that are only for the purpose of satisfaction.

₊˚ପ⊹ Desires to ask for :: — everything concerning my health and my 5 senses (pains, etc.) — my goals for the future or my studies — wishes and blessings for others — desires concerning the near future, asking that an event goes well — what concerns my 3d — desires beneficial to me/my entourage on religion

₊˚ପ⊹ Desires in my 4d :: — what concerns my 4d — futile desires for the purpose of fulfillment — "selfish"/superficial desires (body, clothes) — scenarios — etc.

my imagination does not disturb anything or anyone! I can do what I want there. I already have what I want and I feel good there, that ain't my problem if it materializes in my 3d. they are not even desires anymore, actually 😭

yo, remember that the only difference between the 3d and the 4d is that the 3d makes us feel physically with our senses. hey, that's nothing, why would this make the 3d more real than the 4d? we literally are awareness. it's beacause of myself i'm feeling senses, that means nothing.

analogies that help me through tough times

1. imagine you’re watching a tv channel, that channel represents the reality you’re experiencing right now. there are other channels, other programs existing at the same time, you’re just tuned in a specific program, that doesn’t mean the rest don’t exist. you shift by grabbing the remote and changing the frequency, changing the channel to the one you’d prefer.

2. when you’re at a restaurant and you place an order, you know your food is coming, whether its taking 10 or 20 minutes, it doesn’t matter, you know its coming. in the meantime, you might enjoy the company you’re with, and even if you’re having a miserable time, you still know that your food is coming regardless.

3. whenever you think of unwanted thoughts, think of them as someone trying to fight you and you not engaging, you don’t react because you’re obviously not going to fight that person. or you can think of placing those thoughts on a cloud, observing it, and letting it go

4. watching a movie you already know the end to, you’re only playing out the rest of the movie

5. someone owing you money. you know you’re going to get the money back, you just can’t spend it yet. in the meantime, you’re thinking of ways you will spend it when you get your hands on them

6. placing an online order and knowing that it will get to you, no matter however many days it will take

7. a random person coming up to you on the street telling you how they hate your orange socks while you’re wearing white socks. you don’t react, you just keep walking.

. . . now these can be interpreted however you want but personally, i remind myself of these analogies whenever i’m feeling doubt, whenever unwanted thoughts creep up in general, & to remind myself of the mindset i want to adopt

meet hachi a young girl who one day stumbles on how to induce pure consciousness. this is her journey:

day 1:

hachi spends her first day scrolling through some of her favorite bloggers posts; a little bit after she scrolls through “#void state” and “#pure consciousness” after a few minutes she comes across a post that reminds her of her power and how she can induce the void state like literally R I G H T N O W now hachi is ready and excited to induce pure consciousness, so she lays down and goes through a flow of instructions and BOOM she is now and her most natural and pure form, which some know as pure consciousness, the void state, I am state, or whatever you wanna call it. now if you thought the following while reading hachi’s journey, you do not understand what it means to be god.

-if you thought that hachi’s journey sounds too fake or too unrealistic because she induced her purest form on the first day of finding out about it, you do not understand.

- if you feel bad now that your journey is longer than hachi’s you do not understand, it doesn’t matter if it’s been two weeks since you’ve been on your journey or if it’s been 4+ years it does not matter at all.

-if you thought of ANY limitations or had any doubt or thoughts of how you can still fail or even uttered “b-b-but that doesn’t make sense, that’s not pos—” yeah, uhm I’ll stop you there before you accidentally make a fool of yourself.

what are you talking about, “impossible” “unrealistic” “too hard” nothing is any of those words for you; a god. like seriously stop making my point fly across your head, YOU ARE GOD. period.

now for the curious people who are wondering, “what did hachi do to induce the void state so fast????”:

step 1: recognize your truth

𓂃⋆ the first step is realizing the most important truth: you are god. you are not a body, not a mind, not tied to any rules or limits. you are pure consciousness—infinite, powerful, limitless. there is no separation between you and the universe because you are the universe. everything flows from you. the void state isn’t something outside of you—it’s within you, always has been.

step 2: it’s already yours

𓂃⋆ the void isn’t something you need to “enter.” there’s no effort, no struggle. it’s instant. you are already there because you are it. time doesn’t exist in the void; it dissolves the moment you recognize your infinite nature. don’t overthink it. you don’t have to do anything special. the void is your natural state—limitless potential, pure being. just by knowing this, you’re already connected to it.

step 3: let go of limitations

step 5: exist as pure consciousness

𓂃⋆ in the void, you are pure consciousness, untouched by the world, unshaped by time or space. you are everything and nothing at once. feel this—you are the creator of all, and yet, you are perfectly still. this state is simple, yet profound. you don’t have to do anything to maintain it. just be aware of your own infinite nature.

that’s it. the void state is effortless because you are it. there’s no process, no waiting, only instant realization that you are god, and everything is within your power. hachi did nothing but know her powerful and boom— she manifested her dream closet, her dream body, her dream boyfriend and her dream life in general. if she & so many others can—then so can you 🩷 it’s nothing that deep :p

you ever think about how you’re shifting realities right now? you just did it. again. and again. and. boom. there it goes. you’re not stuck in one solid, concrete world. you’re a flipbook of possibilities, and every second, a new page turns. the you reading this isn’t the you from five seconds ago. that version of you is gone. poof. never to return. god, i miss her.

so, why do people think manifestation takes time? time is just the illusion that makes reality feel digestible to our little human brains. but you don’t "wait" for things. you shift to them.

LOA isn’t about "forcing reality" like you’re wrestling fate to the ground. it’s about assuming you’re already in the reality where your desire exists. because the multiverse is infinite. every possibility is real somewhere. you’re not "creating" your dream life. you’re just moving to the timeline where it’s already true.

You Can Manifest Anything In Days, Hours, Even Seconds.

you can literally manifest in milli-seconds. the second you assume something is true, you land in the reality where it’s true. the only reason it sometimes feels "slow" is because you keep doubting it, wobbling between frequencies like a radio that’s not quite locked in.

for example, you want your dream body? kewl. shift to the parallel reality where you already have it. no, i don’t mean work out for six months and hope for the best. i mean assume, right now, that you have it, and live as though you do. time is fake, and you don't need it. your cells aren’t checking their watches. you can wake up in two hours with the body you’ve always wanted, because why not? that timeline exists. people have done it. the only thing between you and that reality is the idea that it’s "too unrealistic."

and what’s more unrealistic? the concept of shifting infinite times per second through an ever-expanding multiverse of possibility, or the idea that one of those infinite realities just so happens to contain the exact thing you want and all you have to do is land in it?

anyways. "shifting" and "manifesting" aren’t two different things. they’re just two perspectives on the same mechanism. you shift every second, every moment, all the time. and manifestation is just deliberate shifting. picking the station instead of letting the static choose for you.

so, no more "waiting." no more "how long will it take?" because it’s already happened. the moment you say this is my reality now. congrats. you just shifted.

Focus on your internal experience. That is what matters. That is what shifts. Think as your DR self and no one else. If you enter the mental state of your DR self you will enter the physical state of your DRself.

It's ok if you don't feel it yet, it's ok if you hear a sound from your CR, it's ok if you can feel your old bedroom still. It's OK.

Shifting is not a physical process. Your physical body is not what's shifting between realities your awareness is. Your sight, hearing, taste, feeling, etc, are all a part of your physical body.

What the nerves in your body are experiencing doesn't matter because you are not the nerves, you are not the body, you are the awareness. Your body isn't trying to shift, your mind is.

You are trying to become aware of another reality and therefore what you are experiencing in this one is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what this body experiences it matters what your awareness is experiencing.

Shifting is internal focus on shifting internally.

If you still don't get it think of it this way:

If you are sitting down and thinking to yourself about everything see, hear, feel, smell, or taste from your CR, then you are LITERALLY applying the 5 senses method to your CR.

If your method is mainly affirming, so repeating to yourself that you're there, WHAT do you think is happening when you keep telling yourself you're not there? Everything you say is an affirmation. It's not that methods aren't working it's that you are literally applying them in reverse.

It doesn't matter what your senses are telling you because you will shift before they do. It doesn't mean anything unless you tell yourself that it does.

If your senses do not match your mental state stay in the mental state until they do. Do not compromise with shit you don't want.

STAY in the mind of your DRself. That's your only job. Continue to think as if you're there. Continue to think about your life in your DR, continue to occupy the mind of your DRself.

This is what so many people get stuck on. I don't expect you to magically stop experiencing it, it is ok that you felt it. All you have to do is continue to think as if you are in your DR anyway.

Your subconscious will believe what you tell it over what your body is experiencing. Your only goal is to keep telling it that you're in your DR.

Yes you might have heard a loud noise and yes you know it's not from your DR. That doesn't matter. The goal is not to magically un-hear it but to avoid returning to the mental state of your CR self.

It is ok if you can't make yourself believe you're there, you just have to think to yourself as if you are. Think as DR you and no one else.

Essentially, you shift mentally before you feel it physically. Before you experience your desired reality externally you experience it internally.

shifting simplified ׂᨘ✦

(using the law of assumption)

— first and foremost; reality shifting happens in the mind because reality itself is built by your mind.

let me give you an analogy:

think of shifting like switching tv channels. each and every tv channel represents a different reality. all these channels exist at the same time but you’re only experiencing the one you’re “tuned into”, that doesn’t mean the rest of them don’t exist. just because you’re broadcasting one channel (your cr) doesn’t mean the others stop broadcasting (your dr’s). so what is it that you do? you grab the remote and change the channel.

“so how do i use the loa to shift?”

in short:

— 1. decide where you want to shift to

— 2. acknowledge but ignore the 3d. you’re probably thinking “wtf is this bitch talking about?” let me explain. be aware of your cr without denying or resisting it, realize that 3d = past assumptions. it’s not your reality, it’s not your ultimate truth so don’t throw a tantrum and let it affect you. yeah the 3d is showing you that you’re in your cr but it literally does not matter, if you’re in your dr in the 4d the 3d has no other option but to conform. you are in your dr.

— 3. live in your imagination & persist. the 4d — your thoughts, your feelings, your assumptions, it’s the only thing that matters. don’t let the 3d fool you because like i said 3d = past assumptions. focus on the 4d and trust that that is your reality, don’t give the 3d the power that it craves bc its a needy ass bitch…

I've seen a bunch of people say that you can't look at the 3d and recognize that something hasn't happened or changed yet. You absolutely can, though.

Your desire manifests when it's your dominate thought. If you're manifesting a call and think for a single second 'omg he/she/they haven't called me yet' DON'T freak out.

It's fine. Take a deep breath and chill out. Recognizing and being upset over something for a small second of your day is fine, so long as you direct your thoughts in favor of having your desire again. Whether that be affirming, visualizing, or rampaging, direct your thoughts back to having your desire.

If having your desire is your dominate thought, then you are going to get it no matter what.

TIME IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT

Listen, I'm a very literal and logical person. Crazy to think that I believe in manifestation, but I do.

I see bloggers say that time doesn't exist all of the time, but they never delve into the science behind that fact. Hence, this post.

We made time. Sure, there's day and night, but that's it. We decided that there's sixty seconds in a minute and sixty minutes in an hour. We decided that there's twenty-four hours in a day. So, saying that manifesting is a process is inherently wrong.

Since time doesn't exist, the second that you decide you have your desire is when you have it. It doesn't show up because you believe that it hasn't yet. You believe that it's a process, which makes it a process for YOU.

You see people talk about instant manifestation and wonder how they do it, but it's truly simple enough that if you believe that time doesn't exist, then it doesn't. You believe that you manifest instantly, and you do. Those two beliefs are interchangeable.

STOP RELYING ON THE 3D FOR VALIDATION

Listen, I know that I said that I got pretty much instant results last Monday, but that isn't always the case. Movement sometimes decides to take baby steps. The 3d wants you to go back to affirming the old story because, sometimes, it doesn't like change.

Like, I haven't spoken to my man for almost twelve years—and back then, we were five and eight. I haven't physically seen movement since monday, but I know he's thinking about me. I know he's creeping on my Instagram, and I know that he broke up with his girlfriend yesterday. Why? Because I say so.

It's like learning about gravity or oxygen. You can't see it, but you know it's there, right? You know that it's keeping us on our feet/breathing. Movement isn't always right in front of your face. Sometimes, it decides to be a gas instead of a liquid or solid that you can physically see.

But it's still there. Even if you don't think that it is. If you are affirming and persisting in favor of your desire, then there is movement. Even if you don't believe that. The law is a law. If you are performing the steps—decide, assume, persist—then there is always going to be movement.

OBSESSION DOESN'T MATTER

Obsessing over the thing you want doesn't matter. It's not going to affect your manifesting unless you let it.

I started seeing movement from my SP when I realized how much I was obsessing and embraced it. The only time that it'll get in the way is if you are constantly looking at the 3d for validation.

So, obsess over your man/woman, obsess over how pretty you are with your desired appearance, obsess about how beautiful your house or apartment is!

If you find yourself looking to the 3d for validation, take a step back and stop affirming or visualizing for a few days. I promise that it'll help.

EFFIE'S FULL-PROOF GUIDE TO MANIFESTING

+ one extra step that bloggers tend to leave out <3

1. DECIDE

now, this one might seem basic, but the first step is always going to be deciding what you want. Whether it be what you want to look like, what your dream relationship entails, or literally whatever you want! Nothing is impossible.

2. ASSUME

Once you decide what you want, you need to assume that you have it. It's truly simple. A good 'I have x' should suffice before you go onto step three.

3. PERSIST

Now, this isn't the last step, but it's the second most important one. You have to persist in your assumption. Whether this be by affirming, visualizing, or just knowing that it's yours.

Now, can we get a drum roll for my super secret yet necessary last step...

4. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

The belief in yourself needs to come before your belief in the law, in my opinion. It doesn't matter if you do or don't believe in the law if you don't believe that you yourself can do it. Now, some may be like, 'Oh, but I do believe in myself, Effie.' No, you don't, or you wouldn't be wondering what it is that's still holding you back from your desires.

You are your own worst enemy, but that's okay. You can fix it. Believing in yourself might be hard, especially if no one ever taught you how to, but you can learn. Start off with small things if you want.

You can do it. I believe in you.

adding onto this, that feeling wasn't a feeling of knowing that it was going to happen. No, it was a feeling of believing in myself. Everyone says that you need to know that it's gonna happen, but I truly believe that you only need to feel that belief in yourself.

Listen, I probably sound like I have manifested tens of thousands of things, but I haven't. I've manifested my period going away a few times, and a better living situation. That's almost it.

Since actually discovering that that was the law of assumption, I've been chasing the feeling that I had when I manifested those things. Hell, just recently, I logged out to manifest my man, and I couldn't find that feeling, so I came back to figure out why.

Last Monday, I had therapy (#trauma) and talked so much about my childhood best friend and realized that he's the first person that I've truly loved. So, I decided to lock in. I felt good and started affirming.

Guess what?

Not even six hours later, he posted on his Instagram story, turned on his Facebook messages without adding me back, and posted on Instagram. Now, if you have Facebook, you know that you don't just go on there to turn your messages on and then close the app. He definitely creeped on me, which is the only reason I even posted on Facebook in the first place—so he could see a glimpse of who I am twelve years after we last saw each other and spoke.

After that? Absolutely nothing. In fact, I accidentally confirmed him having a gf last night!! But, I was reading a post by @hrrtshape and realized that I never truly believed in myself. When I manifested my period away those few times, I didn't know anything about the law of assumption, and it was the same when manifesting my current living situation. What was different about Monday? I genuinely believed in myself.

Now, as someone who grew up in an abusive household, I never resonated with the 'it's so easy, all you have to do is believe in yourself', because I didn't know how to do that. My parents never did, so how would I know how to do it?

Belief in yourself and your abilities truly is all you need, though. I believed my period wouldn't come a few times in 2023, and it didn't. I believed that my living situation would change, and it did. I believed that I would see movement from my sp, and I accidentally messaged him on Facebook when we weren't friends on there, and his messages were previously off!

I believed that I need to have the same feeling that I did then and that I can't be consistently freaking out about movement from my sp or it wouldn't come. I believed that I couldn't be crying or upset that he has a gf because then it wouldn't change.

You don't need to put those restrictions on yourself, though. You just need to believe that you make the rules. You decide what you need to do to manifest, not anything anyone on YouTube or Tumblr say you need. Tumblr and YouTube are best for the basics—decide, assume, persist—and the success stories and fun manifesting things.

So, when you say 'I have this' and don't see it, that isn't proof that you haven't gotten it unless you say that it is. It truly is as simple as 'persist and believe in yourself'.

yes!! you can do literally anything with law of assumption, including 'illogical' things!! I'd personally use something like 'everyone in the world is safe' or 'every woman in Afghanistan is safe' if you want to be specific, in case that's what you were asking!!
