Mushroom house? Mushroom house.

so this is Gilbert, and they didn’t want to introduce themself so here. He’s a plant parent and complete softy 🍄

Im not the best at drawing, I usually just start doing lines and see where it leads me... this time it led me to mushrooms. I think they're cute.

FUNGI HAVE CLOSER DNA TO HUMANS THAN TO PLANTS AND MUSHROOMS ARE ACTUALLY THE FRUITING BODIES OF MASSIVE SUBTERRANEAN SYSTEMS OF FUNGI THAT ARE THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD AND MILES WIDE. THE LARGEST LIVING ORGANISM ON OUR PLANET IS A 3.5 MILE LONG 10,000 YEAR OLD FUNGI WHICH CONNECTS THE WHOLE FOREST AND HELPS EVERY PLANT COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER.

THE CLOSEST THING WE HAVE TO AN ALMIGHTY IS FUNGI.

Gave myself a shorter time to complete this one so I wouldn’t think about it as much. It was an enjoyable process doing it that way.

some pictures from todays rainy walk + a rather damp looking wood pigeon from when i got back :)

any ideas on what these mushrooms could be? some of the white ones reached almost to my knee and the brown ones were not much bigger than 10-15cm.
