do not feel guilty for losing connection with your older kins, maybe they were spiritual and you outgrew the age they died and there's no one to follow you anymore?

Been meaning to say this for a while, but here's a not so gentle reminder that you don't have to be skinny, white and able bodied to be part of the nonhuman community.
Racism and ableism is sadly rampant in this community and I want this blog to be safe for the beings that feel excluded! Huh. You know what. I thought I was a sloth demon before. But... I'm highly doubting it now. The only reason I dont do that much ever (and therefore identifying with the sin of sloth a lot. Also cause of that one memory i have, but solitude means peace—theres nothing to incite my wrath. So no wonder i felt so peaceful in my home in the void) is cause of my disability. Before my disability kicked in so hard, I had a lot of energy.
I think my demonself actually embodies Wrath. I either simmer or burn hot when i shift and i feel that emotionally too. also makes sense for why my element is fire, despite feeling burnt out and no energy most of the time.

A message to the younger members of the community, and those who doubt there place in it:
Beings don't care.
I went to a therian meet up over anthro northwest. And it was NOTHING like the current online spaces, especially all the discourse.
There was no fighting. It was beautiful. Beings were freely using whatever labels they wanted, no one cared "why" someone identified as something, mental, spiritual, physical. Everyone was like "Hey, cool!".
Older folks talked about their time in the community while the younger ones did quads. People howled, played with squeak toys. No one cared. And most importantly, everyone agreed the infighting was pointless.
You WILL be accepted irl. This discourse doesn't matter. You are going to find your beings, and none of these online pissing contests mean anything once you meet others off the screen.
It's a beautiful place out there.
