claire and owen really went through all of the stages and fanfic tropes. enemies-to-lovers? check. awkward exes? check. and of course the final form…domestic cottage!core with their adopted clone daughter, their dinosaur, and their dinosaur’s clone daughter.
One-Shot: Could you do a one shot of Jurassic from Zach’s point of view, where he’s sneaking out to go out at night but Owen catches him and pulls him by the ear back to house? Announcement: I hope you all enjoy! Warnings: Mild language, just to be safe. Mention of alcohol
The house was quiet, the only sounds were the even breathing of the sleeping forms and the quiet footsteps of the sneakiest person in the world, me. I mean really, I could be a freakin ninja I’m being so stealthy. Gray and I are spending some time with Aunt Claire and Owen while our parents are on a couples retreat trying to save their marraige. It isn’t so bad, Claire has a pretty nice house. The only downside is that Owen and Claire are being all mushy gushy around eachother. To be honest it wasn’t all that hard to sneak past them when they were buried in each others eyes.
I slowly made my way down the stairs, avoiding the creaky ones, and on to the carpeted ground floor. I held my breath for a few moments, listening for anyone who might be getting a late night snack. It was around 10 at night and I’m about to hit the town with some friends. I made my way to the front door and oh so quietly turned the lock and opened the door. With the door safely closed behind me I allowed myself a small chuckle and started walking down the block where I told my friends to pick me up.
Still with a smile on my face I made it as far as the end of the driveway, when I heard him.
“Zach? I thought you were in your room? Where are you going, kid?” Owen said.
I cursed in my head and turned around. Sure enough, Owen was on the other side of Claire’s car, working on his stupid motorcycle.
“Oh, nothing, y'know, just coming outside for some fresh air-”
It was at this exact moment when the idiots I call friends decided to drive up and start yelling, “Hey man! Hurry up, we about to get fu- Oh, dude! Is that your dad? Let’s get our of here!”
And with that clever remark, they sped off, leaving me with a very confused and slightly angry Owen. He suddenly looked like he put two and two together and started glaring at me.
“You were sneaking out? To do what?”
The ground suddenly looked real interesting as I replied quietly, “Just a party at a friends house, it’s no big deal, I wouldn’t have gotten drunk or anything.”
“There would have been alcohol? I don’t really have any authority around here, but I think I am correct in assuming you’re grounded.”
I sighed, “Oh what ever will I do.”
That seemed to set him off. All of a sudden Owen stood up and made his way over to me, wasting no time in grabbing my ear like you would see in a movie and dragging me into the house. It would have almost been comical if I didn’t think my ear was going to be ripped off.
When we got inside Owen led, well, dragged me into the living room and told me to sit on the couch.
I only thought one thing. Aunt Claire is gonna kill me.
One-Shot: Hii, I love your writing, this request is for Jurassic World, I was just wondering if you could do an imagine where the reader and owen hate each other and are always arguing but they both secretly like each other? Thx ☺ Announcements: Sorry about the end, I ran out of ideas. I hope you like it though! Enjoy! Wanings: None
You finished filling the Velociraptor treat bags and wiped your bloody hands off on a near by rag. Wiping the sweat off of your forehead with your upper arm you made your way off of the cat-walk and was about to go wash your hands when you accidentally ran into someone. Looking up quickly you were about to apologize when you saw who it was and scowled. Owen Grady, the head Velociraptor trainer, known more to you as, ‘Mortal enemy’.
Seeing as how your relationship was a mutual hate for each other he scowled too, “Watch it.”
“Same to you, buddy,” you growled back.
Casting one last dirty glare in your direction, he walked away and disappeared up the catwalk. Turning back around you yourself walked towards the nearest restroom and started scrubbing your hands clean of blood. You noticed that your hands were shaking a bit, and you couldn’t figure out why. Its not like your encounter with the loser was all that intense. What, with his wavy hair and big arms… wait, what?
You shook your head. There is no way that you were falling for that stupid, blond haired, motorcycle riding, Velociraptor training, jack-wagon. His stupid sparkly eyes weren’t even all that great. Your eyebrows furrowed with concern, the heat on this island might be baking your brains and making you think these crazy thoughts. Yeah, thats it, your not going insane, just having a heat stroke.
You sighed, dried your hands, and left the restroom, making your way up the catwalk to get to your next task of the day. You noticed that, thankfully, Grady had gotten done with the recent training exercise with the Raptors and was off talking to Barry and that creepy guy, Hawthorn? Huckleberry? Eh, something like that. The guy was an enormous pain in the you know what. He kept coming back and stared rather evilly at the pack of Raptors, talking nonsense about using them as weapons. Stupid, that guy was just plain stupid.
You sighed and gritted your teeth slightly, they were standing directly where you needed to go to get some tools. Grumbling, you tried to quietly maneuver yourself behind the group of arguing men. While you did so you may or may not have snooped in on their conversation. Although, you pretty quickly lost interest. The jackwad who’s name you were pretty sure started with 'H’ was just spouting more of his seemingly endless amount of stupid. You were about to close the gate behind you, as was the rule for safety, when Grady quickly sidestepped inside. You shrugged and let him close it while he kept on with his conversation.
One thing that did make you smile was the fact that neither Barry nor Owen were buying it. You wiped the smile off of your face as you grabbed some more random tools off of the wall. While you didn’t exactly like Grady, he wasn’t stupid. He knew that the Raptors were wild animals and couldn’t be controlled. In fact, since you were on the topic anyway, why did you hate Grady? He didn’t do anything to you necessarily, maybe it was his cocky attitude, or was it his I’m-indestructible sort of demeanor?
You were pulled from your thoughts as you were about to leave the cage, when you heard someone shout, “Pig loose!”
You quickly turned around, looked up, and saw that one of the new workers had stuck the catcher pole down into the inclosure in an attempt to wrangle the loose pig. Speaking of stupid, am I right?
The next few moments were a blur, although you faintly registered the kid falling over the edge of the catwalk when one of the girls sped by and snapped up the pig in her powerful jaws. The next thing you saw was Grady rush past you and into the now open Raptor pen. Quickly snapping out of it, you rushed and stopped the gate from opening up any farther.
You snapped your attention back to Grady and the new kid, “Grady!” you hissed, “What are you doing?”
But he ignored you, and you quickly took into account the four large predators now surrounding the duo. The kid made a sounds that sounded somewhat scared and pained, and you realized he had a sprained or broken ankle from the fall. He was sitting meat.
“I’m probably gonna be fired for this,” you said faintly to yourself, and rushed into the pen as well.
You heard Barry’s voice behind you, saying something rational like, 'They’re completely stupid’, or, 'They’re probably gonna die’. At least those are the thoughts that are running through your head right now. Barry was probably being a lot more sympathetic and worried.
You heard a voice from in front of you this time, “Y/N? What are you doing? Get out of the pen! It’s dangerous.”
It took all of your self control to not just stop right there and scoff at him. Instead, you kept moving towards the injured intern, while scoffing at him.
“Says the guy standing closest to predatory wild animals.”
You hooked your arms under the kid’s arms and hauled him towards the gate and back into safety.
Turning around you shouted at Grady, “Owen! We’re clear! Get your butt back in here.”
He spared no time rolling under the now closing gate, just as the Raptor squad descended on their prey in a flurry of hisses and claws. You allowed yourself a moment of relief when all they got was a face full of metal bars and slumped against one of the cool cement walls of the cage, almost tripping over one of the tools you had dropped earlier.
“Kid,” Owen said, speaking to the injured intern, “You ever wonder why there was a job opening in the first place?” he asked the shivering form on the ground.
He turned around to you and you mentally groaned, just knowing that you were about to be fired, “And you, follow me.”
You furrowed your eyebrows but hurriedly followed Owen out of the cage and off to one of the quieter parts of your mutual workplace. He stopped and you stuck your hands into the pockets of your dirty tan pants.
He started of how you had expected, “That was stupid, just running into the cage like that, you could’ve gotten hurt,” he continued, “Or worse, killed. I-I care about you.”
“Well,” you said very quickly, “If I may add, you weren’t exactly doing too hot in there either. Heck, one or the both or, yes, even all three of us could have been killed. But, hey! We’re all still alive and have a great story to tell everyone at Thanksgiving dinners. And, also… Wait, what? Did you just say that you cared about-”
You were cut off when Owen’s lips crashed into yours. This, shocking as it may be, made all of your inner organs do cartwheels. Wait, you thought, didn’t we hate each other like, two seconds ago? Although, you still couldn’t figure out why. And also, do I like him? Does he like me back? What is going on? Were we both having heat strokes? All of these thoughts flashed through your head in less than a second, and all too soon, at least you thought so, the kiss ended.
You looked at Owen and noticed that hiss cheeks were a touch pink. Although, you couldn’t blame him, yours were probably even redder.
“What just happened?”
Owen chuckled slightly, “Uh, I was trying to ask you out for dinner sometime, but got over excited, what about you?”
You were fairly certain that your eyebrows were still raised in shock, “Uh, well, I-I guess that I was saying 'sure, why not’ but I think my brain just stopped working,” ugh, you mentally smacked yourself, yep, that was you, smooth.
Grady smiled and kissed you again, this time though, you melted into it.

Of in the distance, one of the other workers begrudgingly handed Barry a small wad of cash, “I can’t believe it,” he said, “They’re always at each other’s throats. I did not expect this.”
Barry smiled, “Are you joking? So much sexual tension was just released that my ears popped from the change in pressure. The power of observation, my friend, is a good one to have.”
And with that, the two men chuckled and walked off to leave the embracing couple some space. Even the Raptors seemed to be cooing at them.
One-Shot: You have so many requests but if you have the time could you maybe write a Zach Mitchell one shot where it’s just a normal day at the park and you and Zach are supposed to watch Grey but Owen doesn’t like the idea of you two doing it because you are dating. But you do it anyways and end up losing Gray while like flirting or being all lovey dovey and they have to find him somewhere? I love your one shots and imagines awhh Announcements: I hope you all enjoy this one! It was fun to wright. Warnings: None, I’m pretty sure. Maybe mild language, it depends on who you are.
Crap.
Oh crap.
Crrraaaaap.
Hmmm, yeah… no. This is not a good thing that is happening at this very moment in time. You and your boyfriend, Zach, were supposed to be looking after his little brother, Gray. And, well… as you had said, crap. He was gone. Off into the great big sea of tropical shirts and fanny packs.
You should have listened to Owen, he told you and Zach that it might have not have been the best idea to watch Gray since you and Zach were dating. And as always he was correct. But, as they say, hindsight is 20-20. You tore at your hair with anxiety and started looking around franticly and
“Zach, Zach, we need to tell someone, ok? We need to tell someone and then they can help find him and-”
Zach grabbed you lightly by the shoulders, “Hey, hey, calm down, ok? It’s not like he can stay lost for very long. And we don’t need to tell anyone, ok? My mom would kill me and then my aunt. I can not be responsible for another persons death. Now, lets go,” and with that, you began to walk around, calling Gray’s name.
—-
It all started about an hour ago. It was a normal day for Jurassic World, sweaty park goers and screaming children. Claire had been called in to work suddenly and Owen was busy with his Velociraptors so she had asked Zach and you to watch over Gray. Owen really didn’t think it was a good idea because the two of you had been long distance dating and finally, after months, had gotten to see each other in person again after your father, Owen had gotten this job.
“C'mon, dad. It’s just for one day, and besides, whats so bad about us watching Gray.”
Owen sighed, “Because, you are a couple of in love teenagers that are gonna get distracted and lose him.”
You groaned, “I promise we won’t be that distracted, plus, you have to go to work so…”
He din’t say anything for a moment, “Fine, just don’t lose the kid please.”
You smiled in victory, “I promise. Now bye!”
“Bye,” he said, unconvinced.
—-
A few minutes later you had met up with Zach and Gray and went off to see a few of the animal exhibits, Gray geeking out and Zach and you staring longingly into each others eyes. At least thats what it seemed like. Right now you were freaking out and couldn’t remember of the details. The three of you were sitting around the fountain near the entrance to take a break. You do vaguely remember Gray asking for the two of you to hurry up so they could go see more dinosaurs, but again, Zach and you were lovey doveying up the place.
“I really missed you,” you said.
“I missed you too,” he replied.
After a minute of you two catching up, you looked around and noticed that there was a Gray shaped hole in the immediate area around you.
You tapped Zach’s arm, “Hey, where is Gray? Wasn’t he just here?”
“You sure? Maybe he just went to the bathroom or something.”
“No, now that I think about it, I haven’t seen him in a couple minutes.”
The two of you realized what happened and looked at each other slowly, “Crap.”
—-
And now here you were, the two of you were looking for the smaller boy and yelling his name around the park. You went to each of the exhibits, even to the small petting zoo, but you couldn’t find him.
You looked over at Zach, who was looking more worried by the minute, “Hey, you said, its gonna be ok. We’ll find, him, I mean, it’s not like he could have gotten eaten by anything. Heck, maybe he’s in the lost and found?”
He sighed and looked over at you, “We’ve already looked there, remember?”
“Yeah, I know. Oh, uh, what about the Rex exhibit? We haven’t checked there, right?”
“Yeah, right. Lets go.”

Zach and you squinted in the low light, looking around people and trying to not be distracted by the goat outside the observatory being devoured. You tried sorting through the sounds, trying to hear the familiar voice of Gray. All of a sudden, Zach grabbed your hand and led you to the front of the crowed. You instantly let out a breath of relief as you saw the shaggy blond head of Gray.
“There you are, you little squirt!” Zach yelled over the tells of delight from the crowed, “You can’t just disappear like that, we were worried.”
The three of you made your way to the back of the crowed to have a bit more privacy, “We’ve been looking everywhere for you,” you began, “Why did you just run off?”
The younger Mitchell looked down, “I told you I was leaving. It was you two that didn’t listen because you were too busy with yourselves.”
Zach and you looked at each other in guilt, “We’re sorry, Gray. We just haven’t seen each other in a very long time and, well, we got a little distracted. I’m sorry,” you said.
Zach stepped in a moment later, “Yeah, sorry. I promise that we’ll stop being completely distracted, ok? But you can’t ever run off again, ok? Also, we’re not gonna tell mom, or Aunt Claire, ok?”
You cut in quickly, “Or my dad. Ever. We gotta pinkie promise.”
Zach smiled over at you, “Yup. It’s our little secret.”
The two of you looked hopefully down at Gray, who squinted at the both of you, “Fine, but I get half of your souvenir money and the employee discount.”
“Deal,” Zach and you said simultaneously.
He smiled deviously and stuck out his pinkie, then Zach, and then you, shaking on it while the T-Rex let out a huff from outside.
Pinkie promises are no joke.
One-Shot: Is it ok to request a one shot based off an existing imagine (secretly dating Zach and having your father Owen find out)? Thank you, great blog :) Announecements: I realize I am a bad person and I’m so sorry for not posting for so long again. But I love you all my precious peoples! Please enjoy :-) Warnings: None
“Alright Y/N, I’m heading out to work, try not to die while I’m out!”
You chuckled to yourself and shouted back down the hall, “No promises! Bye dad!”
You paused and listened, hearing the front door shut and your dad, Owen, start up his old motorcycle and leave. You hurried, got showered, dressed, and put your shoes on before making your way out of the Bungalow. Grabbing your bike you started to make your way to the docks.
Before you had come to the island you had met Zach and one thing led to another and boom, relationship. It had been a struggle ever since your father had gotten his really super cool job at Jurassic World and had to move to the island but miraculously, the both of you had stayed in contact. But, because your father was so protective, there really was no choice but to keep the relationship a secret. You pushed back the slight sadness of having to lie to your dad as you started thinking about today. Today was the day that Zach and his little brother, Gray, were coming to Jurassic World for a vacation and to visit their Aunt Claire. To be honest, this was the greatest coincidence ever. You stashed your bike at the usual place and walked into the bustling crowed of vacationing families, looking back and forth for the other teenagers.
Finally, you saw the disgruntled looking face of your boyfriend and the happy face of his brother, “Hey guys! Over here.”
Their heads snapped up and over to your position, immediately both of them started to smile.
“Y/N!” Zach said, walking up and hugging you.
Wow, you thought, this is your first hug from him in a long while. You forced yourself from him in fear that you would just stay there forever and placed your hands on your hips.
“C'mon,” you said, smiling, “I’ll show you to the hotel and then we can get you some VIP passes. Courtesy of my boss, your awesome aunt.”
The two boys shared a glance and turn their attention back to you.
“It’s really nice to actually see your face and not through a computer screen, Y/N,” Zach said, “Ive missed you so much.”
You softly pecked him on the cheek and then looked him in his soft, warm eyes, “I’ve really missed you too. And hey! Now we have a whole bunch of time to spend together! At least the days my dad is at work which is most of the time so-”
“Wait,” Zach interrupted, “I thought that you had told your dad.”
You grinned guiltily, “It might have slipped… ok, I didn’t tell him. But it’s not because I’m ashamed of you or anything! It’s just that, well, if he found out I really don’t know how he’d react.” You looked down at your shoes, “I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry, I don’t want you to have to lie to your dad, you should tell him at some point.”
“I know, I know, and I will, ok? Maybe once you’re safely off the island and a couple hundred miles out.”
He smiled softly and wrapped his arms around your shoulders, “Sounds good.”
You chuckled and turned your attention over to Gray, who had, for some odd, unknown reason, lost interest in the date talk.
“You ready to go see some dinosaurs?”
The smaller boy perked up instantly, “Finally! Now c'mon! We’re wasting daylight,” and with that, he began to jog ahead of you.
“He just sucks the energy right out of ya and uses it for his own purposes, doesn’t he?” Zach asked.
You laughed again, “C'mon, grumpy Gus,” And began pulling him in the direction of the hyper-active child.
—-
It was around the time after the T-Rex exhibit, that Gray finally asked, “Hey, Y/N?”
You looked over at him, “Yeah?”
“What does your dad do on the island?”
You shrugged a little bit, faking boredom, “Oh, y'know, he just trains a pack of wild Velociraptors, the normal stuff, I guess,” You smiled when you saw his face light up with wonder.
“Ooh, really? Can we go see them?”
Your smile dropped a bit, “Oh, um, I don’t know if…” you trailed off as you saw that look of excitement drop off his face, it broke your heart. No kid needs to have their dreams snuffed out, even if they involved sneaking around your fathers workplace with your contraband boyfriend.
“I don’t know if I can wait! Lets go,” you finally said, after sighing.
Zach looked over at you with a surprised look on his face, expecting you to say something different, “Are you sure? I thought that your dad didn’t know about us, really, we don’t have to go.”
You looked over at him with a nervous smile, “Ahh, what the heck? We’ll just need to do a bit of sneaking, and if we get caught then I’ll just say I’m giving you guys a private tour cause you’re the boss’ nephews. I’m sure everything will go ok.”
—-
The three of you stood just towards the edge of the jungle before the gigantic clearing the held the large arena for the Raptor training.
“Ok,” you said, and began pointing out specific places, “We’ll just run over behind that crate over there, and then over to that little alcove just over there and wait there for a little bit until they start doing something with the Raptors, got it?” After seeing them nod you continued, “Remember, if anyone asks who you are, you’re with me, alright? Alright, lets go,” and took off towards the crate.
Once the boys got there you looked around again and dashed off towards the ground level viewing area, and stepped to the side to catch your breath. The boys got there and only moments later you heard the familiar sound of the big gates sliding open and the sound of a pig’s squealing becoming louder.
You motioned them to crouch down, “Ooh, hey, its about to start. C'mon!”
The three of of you watched in awe as the four, sleek, reptilian bodies came into view, their lethality showing in their movements. Gray had his mouth wide open, and even Zach looked slightly excited.
“And we’re moving!” You looked up, squinting against the harsh sun, and smiled.
Your father started walking across the cat-walk, clicking the little think in his hand and speaking to the pack of Velociraptors.
Finally, after about a minute, “And, go!”
You smiled wider, “Go dad!” you whispered under your breath.
“That was awes-” Gray began.
“Shhh!” Zach and you hissed at the same time.
“Sorry,” he mumbled.
You glanced around quickly and stood up, “Ok guys, time to go, lets hur-”
“Who are you? You’re not supposed to be- Y/N? What are you doing here? And who are you two?”
You froze and tensed up, “Hey, dad.”
Standing up fully you turned around and grimaced, “Um these two are, um, Claire’s’ nephews. She was wondering if I could, take, them… on… a private-”
“I don’t care if the president wanted you to take someone on a private tour. You know you’re not supposed to be here without my permission and someone to supervise you!”
He turned to Zach and Gray, looking sternly at the both of them, “Now the three of you need to leave right now, got it?”
The two of them shook their heads quickly while you sighed and looked down.
“Now, who are the two of you again?” He asked.
You started answering for them, but was cut off, by a terrified Zach, “I’m a boyfriend- I mean, their boyfriend, I mean, no, I’m not, oh god just shut up, I-”
You looked at him in disbelief, mouth slightly ajar.
“Excuse me?” Owen asked quietly, “What did you just say. Cause it sounded like you just said-”
“He’s my boyfriend, dad, and, it’s been going on for a couple months now and I just didn’t tell you because I knew you would over-react and… I’m sorry.”
You swear you could see the man’s eye twitch, “Wha- I just- why would you- I- Wow.”
You started to worry, you thought that he was maybe having a stroke or a heart attack, or something, “I’m sorry, dad, but I love him and I didn’t know what to do.”
Your father said what you were thinking at the exact same time you thought it.
“You’re grounded.”
ONE-SHOT: Can you do a one shot when you’re visiting your dad Owen at Jurassic World and Zach ends up falling in love with you ONE-SHOT: Imagine your Owen’s daughter and Zach falls in love with you ONE-SHOT: Would you please do a one shot where you’re Owen’s daughter and a super badass and at one point you save Zach’s life by fighting a dinosaur and he totally falls in love with you ANNOUNCEMENTS: I paired these three requests up because they were all pretty similar so I hope you all like it! WARNINGS: Maybe a little violence but thats it really
Your face crunched up as the ocean spray splashed up and over the side of the boat. Blinking the salty water out of your eyes you were finally able to see the up and coming Isla Nublar, the famous Jurassic World. You smiled nervously, you were coming here to begin living with your father, Owen Grady, the Velociraptor trainer. It had taken this long because he didn’t really know if he would be staying or not, but he did, and at first he changed from coming to the island and back home but eventually he just stayed on the island and left you with your neighbor, the most boring person on Earth. At first you didn’t like the thought of him working at a place who messed this up the first time 22 years ago, but you soon realized that he could handle himself just like he had taught you to do.
Once you got off of the boat you looked around the docks through the churning sea of people and finally saw your father surveying the crowed. His eyes locked with yours and brightened up. Making your way over to him the two of you instantly embraced in a warm hug.
“Hey there!” He took you by the shoulders and looked at you, “My gosh, it has been too long. I’m really sorry that it has taken this long for me to get you to the island but I’ve just been so busy and-”
You laughed, cutting him off, “It’s fine, really. What you should be sorry about is leaving me with Ms. Wyatt for an entire year. You do realize that the only thing she has for fun is a television and that somehow only get the crocheting channels.” He winced, “Yeah… but hey! People say those things will rot your brain y'know! Besides, I don’t have a tv at all.”
“Yeah, but you live on an island full of dinosaurs.”
“True. Now lets get going, I still have a few more hours of work but I’ll introduce you to the Raptors and then I’ll have someone drop you off at the bungalow and then you can explore the park.”
You through your fist in the air in celebration, “Yes!”
Instead of getting on the monorail to the park the two of you took a jeep with the parks logo on it and headed down a dirt road. The two of you had a little catching up to do but not much, I mean, he only called you basically every day so there wasn’t much you hadn’t covered in those calls. Eventually the bumpy road came to an end next to a large concrete structure. To be honest it wasn’t that impressive but you could still barely contain your excitement, I mean, actual Velociraptors! Not skeletons or pictures in a textbook but real, living, breathing animals! The two of you hopped out of the car and into humid jungle weather and made your way over to the bottom of some metal stairs.
“Ok,” he said, “I don’t usually let random people up here so if anyone asks you’re with me,”
“Got it.”
The metal clanked under your boots as the two of you made your way up the stairs and onto a cat-walk that overlooked a jungle filled enclosure.
“Oh, and by the way,” Owen started, “Don’t fall over please, in fact, hold onto the railing, please.”
“I’m not gonna fall over, chill,” you said taking a hold of the railing anyway.
That seemed to satisfy him as he started what ever he was doing. A pig squealed through followed by 4 other things that you couldn’t quite see until they came to a stop right beneath you. The breath caught in your chest and you smiled brightly, there they were, 4 Velociraptors, all big and powerful and deadly. Your father called out some commands and they actually listened, go this way, that way, and finally he gave them all treats, the one named Blue getting a little white rat.
“And, go!” he said finally and the Raptors went sprinting back into hiding.
“That,” you said with wide eyes, “Was, awesome!”
He laughed and the two of you made your way back down the stairs. He introduced you to one of the other workers and said that they would be taking you to the park for some exploring. Once you were at the park you felt kind of lost. You had never been alone in a place as big as this before, but that was ok, you would be able to handle yourself. And besides, what could really go wrong?
—-
You jinxed it, you thought to yourself as you ran through a crowed of screaming people as they tried to keep from being Pterodactyl food. You just had to open your big fat mouth at say something as stupid as, ‘what could possibly go wrong?’ so, so stupid. You could barely make out one person from another as you tried to find a safe spot. And all you could really do for your father is hope that he wasn’t dead.
Suddenly, a few of the beasts started falling to the ground, one landed near you and you saw something sticking out of its side, a dart. Looking up you saw a few people scattered throughout the crowed with dart guns, aiming at anything flying. One of the men was taken from behind, screaming as he went up and dropping his gun, and without a second thought, you grabbed it and started aiming at the beasts too. All of a sudden, two boys ran in front of you, one about your age and one a few years younger than you. They went to the large fence that kept people from falling in with the Mosasaur, looking at something that you couldn’t quite make out. In doing this they were in plain view of everything that thought to try and look for food, and soon, a few of the Pterodactyls were swooping for them.
You ran to get a better shot and started taking out those things left and right, all the while the two boys just looked at you in awe. You couldn’t blame them though, you were being pretty freaking awesome right now.
When the air was clear for the moment, you looked at them, “C'mon, don’t just stand there, lets go!”
They got up and start running with you while you tried to look for anyone who familiar, all the while shooting anything that flew. All of a sudden the boy about your age tugged on your shirt and pointed to a redheaded lady standing on a car. You nodded and followed him towards the direction of the lady, and almost shouted with joy. Right next to her was Owen, keeping an eye on the lady and making sure she wasn’t carried off. Suddenly though, he was tackled by one of the flying beasts, barely fighting it off from biting his face off, you raised your gun, ready to shoot, but was beaten to the point by the redheaded lady.
The three of you kids jogged over to them, they hugged the lady and you went and about tackled Owen. It was a quick moment though, as the panic was not yet over. Your father led the way to a company jeep and all of you watched as people broke through the gate and flooded past the car. For now at least, you were all safe and could take a breath.
“Can we stay with you?” said the younger brother.
“Trust me guys, I am never leaving you again,” replied the redhead
They both started at once, “No, no, we meant them.”

The rest of the day pretty much sucked also, the raptors temporarily found a new Alpha which sucked for a lot of people, then this big fight between the I-Rex, T-Rex, Raptors, and Mosasaur, but then, you saw your dad’s heart break when his last remaining Raptor, Blue went back into the wild of the jungle. But, even with a few cuts and bruises, everyone made it out alive. Currently you were walking around an 'infirmary’, helping people find their families and things like that. You saw the boys and the redheaded lady you found out was named Claire, and signaled Owen you were going over there. Claire stood up and went over to your father and you took her spot right next to the boys.
“Hey,” the one named Zach said.
“Hi,” you replied.
Gray looked at the two of you and sighed, “I’ll just be over there then.”
“So,” he started, “Thanks, for, y'know, keeping us alive back there.”
“Ah,” you said sarcastically, “It’s was nothing, really.”
The two of you chuckled at that one, “Hey. So, I was just, I was gonna ask that, um, if you wanted, to, like-”
You cut him off by taking his hand and grabbing a pen, “I would love to, here’s my number, call me sometime maybe.” And with that, you got up and started helping your father again who had just apparently had a similar moment with Claire.
Maybe you should jinx things more often.
One-Shot: Imagine you have a fall out with Owen but then when trouble starts you find him and you work together but at the end you get injured and you can make up the ending Announcements: Sorry this took so long to get out! Warnings: None that I can think of! You walked into the trailer. It was a bit small, but big enough you to live comfortably. You lived right next to your partner, Owen Grady, but it wasn’t ‘partner’ as in boyfriend, more like as in co-worker. You both led your own separate packs of Raptors, and you were both the Alphas, which you had to be, if you were going to be respected and listened to by the Raptors.
You slumped down onto your bed, dropping your stuff down on the floor next to you. Today was an exhausting day, and you were both sad and frustrated with Owen. Mostly you were frustrated… angry… ok, pissed off at that cocky bastard. He though he was invincible even though he was clearly not. Some scrawny kid had fallen into the enclosure and he just ran in there without a care in the world. Sure, you thought, it would have set back his work by months, even years if the guards had tazed the Raptors, but it could have ended his life if he hadn’t gotten lucky this one time.
—-
“What were you thinking?” You had yelled at him, “You almost died in there!”
“But I didn’t,” he retorted, winking at you.
“It was stupid and reckless and-“
“Stupid?” He asked, his voice rising slightly, “That kid would have been dead if it weren’t for me!”
“Maybe, but you both could have been dead if you didn’t get lucky this single time! You should have let them take the Raptors down! They would have ripped you to shreds if you hadn’t gotten out of there when you did!”
He looked at you incredulously, “If I had let them then they would have never trusted me again! They are too precious of ally’s to have on our bad sides! You would have done the same thing.”
That made you stop. Would you have? Or would you have let them be taken down? You shook your head slightly, this was different, you thought, he actually did it.
“Are you that surprised that I would put a human life before an animals comfort?” you said instead, “They would have been fine! A little disoriented for a while and given a break before the next training session. You-“
“Wow, just… wow,” he said, “Would I even want to know the answer?”
“I, I…”
He huffed and pushed passed you, leaving you standing there, angry and about ready to start crying. God, that idiot, you thought.

You decided to skip dinner and go straight to sleep. You were about to fall into the sweet clutches of unconsciousness when someone started knocking on your door. Oh what now, you thought grumpily as you pushed yourself of off the bed.
Opening the door you were met with the face of Owen, “Boss Lady’s here and she needs us both,” he said, turning and walking to a shiny silver car before you could get a word in.
As you walked to the car you saw that in the driver’s seat was a redheaded woman you knew to be Claire Dearing. Hopping in next to a quiet Owen you asked, “So, what do you need us for?”
She glanced at you while started the car and driving off, “Mr. Masrani thought it would be best for the two of you to review the paddock of one of the new attractions for safety.”
“Oh,” you said simply.
—
And thus continued the suckiness of the day, first a fight with Owen and then escalating into running for your life from a dinosaur that never existed. And now here you were, running through the jungle towards the park, trying to push the visons of the two poor workers being chomped in half out of your thoughts for the moment. At this point, hours must have passed, I mean, this was a huge island when you’re walking on foot, and you’re sure you’re lost. At last you stumbled out onto a large cliff that overlooked the park, and what you saw almost made your heart stop, it was the Pterodactyls, they were loosed and dive bombing the park. Oh hell, you thought and began to run to the park.
When you got down there it was still chaos, people running, screaming, crying, trying to keep from being bird food, it made you mad. These idiots should have evacuated the island, but no, it would have cost them too much money, it’s all about the money! All of a sudden you were jerked back by your shirt, and then up. Claws dugs painfully into your shoulder as you suddenly realized that you had been caught by one of the Pterodactyls and was not being lifted into the sky.
You heard screaming but didn’t know if it was yours or the crowed below you, either way, it sounded terrified. Suddenly, as quickly as you had been lifted up into the air, you were falling back to the ground. The animal made a squawking sound and released its iron grip on you. You thought that you would be too high to keep from gaining any injuries but just before you hit the ground, powerful arms caught you, sending you and Owen to the ground.
He quickly looked up at you, “Are you hurt,”
You looked at him while you tried to feel any major points of pain that could mean broken, and then looked down at your ankle and winced. Even now it was beginning to turn purple and swollen, it must have been caught under Owen when the two of you fell.
Owen followed your gaze, his eyes widening as he saw your ankle too, “Here, c’mon, I gotcha.”
As he lifted you up your eyes locked with each other’s and before you could protest put his hands around your face and smashed his lips into yours.
After a few moments of that he released you, “I’m sorry about earlier, I know it was stu-“
You cut him off, “That can wait.”
He looked at you with his fascinating green eyes and nodded, “Follow me.”
It was a short distance to the car but with the added trouble of a panicked crowed and useless ankle it seemed to take a lifetime. Claire Dearing was in the front and there were two boys you didn’t recognize in the back as you squeezed in next to them. For now at least, everything seemed ok, and you thought of a few ways that you could apologize to Owen too.
One-Shot: Can I have a one-shot where Owen Grady (aka Chris Pratt) introduces you to the raptors and some of them try to hurt you and yeah if that makes sense:) Annoucement: I hope you like it! Warnings: None
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath of ocean air. It wasn’t a long boat drive to the Isla Nublar, but it sure was refreshing. You were barely containing your excitement though, to be honest this may be the best day ever. You were visiting your partner, Owen Grady, and he said he was finally going to show you his Raptor girls. That’s right, actually Velociraptors. You had been nervous about him taking the job at first, seeing as how 22 years earlier Raptors had contributed to the events at Jurassic Park, but eventually you had learned to accept it.
Getting off the boat and swaying a little bit from just getting back on land, you looked around through the crowed of families and friends.
All of a sudden there was a jabbing, tickling feeling on your sides, “RAPTOR ATTACK!”
Apart from it tickling a bit, it scared the hell out of you and made you jump about five feet into the air, “AHHH!”
Some people within earshot of you gave you odd looks as you whipped around and found yourself immediately faced with stunning green eyes. You smiled and smacked Owen on the arm.
He pretended to be shocked and hurt, “What on Earth was that for?”
“You know what for,” you said, “And, by the way… Raptor attack? Really?”
He took you by the arm and the both of you started making your way off of the dock, “Ah, well, just trying to get you in the mood.”
Hopping into his jeep you chuckled nervously, “Yeah, right. I hope they like me.”
Owen smiled and looked over at you, “Of course they will, I’m the Alpha, they’ll think of you as my mate and respect you too.”
“Alpha, huh? I bet you use that one on all the girls.”
He started the car, “Only you, hun bun.”
The rest of the ride was filled with small talk and the general catching up. You were studying back in America so you kind of had to keep this a long distance relationship which wasn’t always easy, but you managed. And besides, you were almost done anyways, you were really trying to push for a job on the island so you could be near Owen but that was a worry for another day.
Soon, the bumpy car ride to the enclosure was over and the two of you hopped out of the car, “Yeesh, it is mildly warm out here,” you said sarcastically, taking off your top shirt to reveal your tank top.
“Are you trying to impress me, or the dinosaurs,” Owen commented.
“Well, I just want to make a good impression,” you retorted. You followed him a short distance and to something that looked like a viewing area of some sort, both sides closed off by safety fences.
“Here,” Owen said, “Just stand here and watch.”
“I think I can handle that,” you said, feeling the excitement kick your pulse up a few notches.
He signaled someone and all of sudden a tiny pig came squealing in through the opening in the enclosure. It disappeared in a hole in the wall and a panel slammed down behind it, keeping it from being eaten by the four beings that came streaking in behind it. Their sleek reptilian bodies moved around the arena, hissing at the people up on the catwalk above and nipping playfully at each other. They eventually saw you and Owen in the safety cage and slinked over. Your eyes were wide, this was the first time that you had been able to see the Raptors, and they were magnificent. They came closer to the gate that separated you from them, staring at each other in the eyes.
“This one it Blue,” Owen said, pointing to the one closest to the fence, “That one is Echo, there’s Charlie, and over there is Delta.”
“Awesome,” you whispered with a slightly open mouth.
All of a sudden, Blue, jumped forward towards the cage, making you jump back, just barely missing the her claws as she stuck her arm though an opening.
“Ahh!” You yelped.
Owen pushed you back to a safer distance, “Hey! No, Blue! No! Back, stay back!”
The Raptor looked at Owen and slid her arm out of the door quietly. The others had stayed back, and started hissing at you.
“Was it something I said?” you asked shakily.
He frowned and helped you up off of the ground, “No, I don’t know. Maybe they just didn’t sense that you were my mate?” He looked back in the cage, “I don’t know. Are you ok? Any scratches? Anything?”
You shook your head, “I don’t know either, maybe we need to kiss in front of them next time. Show then whose boss.”
He raised an eyebrow at you, “Ooh, scandalous. What would the people think?”
“Who cares?” and pecked him on the lips.
A near mauling by your boyfriends Raptors can really make a person crave physical contact.
*Gifs not mine
“You-,” Owen started, “I mean, he?”
You grimaced slightly, I mean, you were gonna tell your dad eventually, just not now. “Yes, he,” You said, pointing at a rather frightened looking Zach.
“But I- I didn’t think… what?”
Wow, you thought, he was taking this better then you thought he would
One-Shot request: You’re a new employee to Jurassic World and Owen fall in love with you and keeps flirting with you. Announcements: I literally have NO idea how to flirt so I reverted back to dinosaur pick-up lines. Hope you enjoy! Warnings: None
Dress codes sucked, you decided as you lifted the last sack of food onto the truck and shut the gate. I mean, it was 103 degree weather on a tropical island and you had to wear pants, like, really heavy long pants. You suffered in silence though, I mean, who can complain when you get to feed dinosaurs? This was a job of a life time that also satisfied your childhood dreams. You were new to Jurassic World but so far had gotten along pretty well with all of your coworkers and the animal trainers, at least the ones you’ve met. It was later in the day and you only had one more stop, the Velociraptors. Chills went up and down your spine, this would be the first time you would get to see them. You had heard all of the stories on the news and gossip amongst the workers about what had happened 22 years ago when they first tried to open the park, about the horrors of Jurassic Park and how Raptors were a big part of it. But you pushed those thoughts to the back of your head as you climbed in, started up the truck, and made your way towards the enclosure. Eventually you found it, parked, and hopped out of the nice cool car and into humid island stickiness. You noticed everyone seemed a little on edge and saw a skinny looking kid being looked at by a medic. You furrowed your eyebrows and frowned slightly as you looked around for someone who would tell you where to unload. You caught the attention of a man who came over to where you were leaning against the car. “Hi,” you introduced yourself, “I’m here to drop off the food for the week. Can I asked what happened?” He sighed and looked back at the skinny kid, “He fell over and into the enclosure. He’s fine but it gave us all a scare. Anyway, you can grab some guys and unload the food over there,” He nodded with his head over to a little area built into the side of the concrete wall of the arena. You looked at him funny, “He fell in with the Raptors and he’s ok? How did that happen?” He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by another, rather cute looking, man with deep green eyes, “I, just being my usual awesome self, hopped in and showed the Raptors whose Alpha.” The first man snorted, “Yeah, your ‘usual awesome self’, that’s a good one Owen, really subtle.” Owen shot the man a slight glare, “Thanks, Barry, really.” Barry chuckled, “Alright, alright, I’m leaving.” And with that he walked away and started up another conversation with some other men. Owen shook his head and turned back to find you already unloading the truck, “Hey, do you need some help?” “That would be great. Be careful though, sometimes the meat bleeds through the sack.” He smirked as he picked up a bag, “That’s ok, I don’t mind getting a little dirty.” You thought you saw him wink but your turned around too quickly to notice, you were trying to hide the fact your cheeks were bright pink. This continued for a minute or so, an awkward silence as the both of you went back and forth from the truck to the growing pile of food. Finally you said something, “So, did you really jump in front of a bunch of Raptors?” He looked up and smiled handsomely, “Yeah, like I said,” he looked you in the eyes with his dark green ones, “I’m the Alpha.” “Oh,” you said simply. He was not really trying to be subtle was he, you thought. Again there was a little time where neither of you said anything. But then, “You know,” Owen started, “Kiss me if I’m wrong but you’ve seen the Raptors, right?” You almost choked right then and there, “No,” you managed, “I haven’t had the chance.” He smiled over at you again, “So, what have you heard about me?” You glanced over at him, “Just that you’re the Raptor whisperer, and that you could be a little cold sometimes, at least that’s what I’ve heard.” You turned around to find him right in front of you, “Don’t believe what you hear, I’m as warm-blooded as they come.” You raised your eyebrows, “Oh, so we’re venturing into this territory now? Dino pick-up lines, nice,” You smiled and grabbed the last sack in the truck. “Live in the moment, I like to say, we could all be extinct tomorrow.” “Wow. Why are you flirting with me?” He looked at you softly, “One look at you and I feel like I’ve died and gone to a museum.” Your smile widened, “You do realized we’re holding bags of bloody meat in our hands, right? Not the most ideal place for this kind of conversation.” “Does this mean Jurassic-ing me back to your place?” You laughed and heaved the sack onto the pile and turned around to look back at the man in front of you, “These are possibly the most corny pick-up lines, and about dinosaurs I might add,” He looked down, slightly discouraged, “But, they might just be working.” He looked back up, smiling that goofy smile of his, “I can tell you more over coffee if you’d like.” You looked around, “I would say its carbon date!” You both chuckled and said your good-byes, exchanging numbers in the process and went on your ways. Driving back to your little trailer you began laughing, what a dork, you thought. The following Friday you met up with him at the parks coffee place. He looked good enough to eat.
