Nothing wrong with TFA just not being your thing. I just wanted to add that it's kinda what got me BACK into Transformers. What got me really into the TF fandom in the first place was Beast Wars in my teen years (also the first fanfiction I wrote) and I kinda drifted away from it after that. But then I saw toy of Waspinator at Walmart and went "Waspy is in this show?!" I bought the toy (cause Waspinator is baby to me) and gave the show a chance and it reawakened my love for Transformers as a whole. Just thought I'd share

guhh i havent seen Beast Wars😭😭 (and i have no idea if i should watch it) but ive seen Waspinator in idw comics and can confirm that hes a cutie patootie! he doesnt have a lot of screen time but i quickly realized that hes just... REALLY adorable😭 i hate bugs but his wet pathetic loser demeanor have captivated me
I never really liked tfa much or understood the hype around it either 🫤 It's alright, but prime is probably the best of the shows imo. G1 is my fav even tho its so silly bcs it always makes me laugh, and I know some people don't like either of those, so it's definitely all subjective

all my life ive seen Optimus portrayed as an old kind-hearted dad so seeing him as a bratty young guy destroyed my sense of reality 😭😭 i GET the appeal like it IS an interesting portrayal of him and i definitely just need time to get used to him and i know i will sound like a bunch of other people, but my only wish is for him to have just a sliiiightly different style for his face </3 i like my Optimus' looking hot and tfa Optimus just aint doing it for me 🥀
but G1 is genuinely such a fun time it makes zero sense and i thoroughly enjoyed it when i saw it for the first time several months ago :D although i havent seen 3 and 4 seasons but sometime in the future i'll definitely check them out!
in the end these kinds of stuff ARE subjective so i am trying my best not to be hyper critical of tfa when i even barely seen it </3

i dont mind drawing OCs its just most of the time my brain cant focus on drawing if i need to draw an original character (it even includes my own OCs they collect so much dust in the basement of my mind...)
so people can ask me to draw their OCs but PLEASE understand that its genuinely a small chance i will even draw them <\3 im awful at original art so request me at your own risk

I made a card for my brother's birthday and I'm happy with it. Got mom's seal of approval as well.
Today my brother got promoted to Sgt and I couldn't be prouder. Of the three saluting, he is the one closest to the person that took the pictures. I love my big brother very much and I wish I could see him more often instead of just on holidays.

My friend, who sits across from me in my art class, is doing some painting and she keeps moving her arm to adjust her sleeve. Well, she happens to have just dipped the brush into water, adjusts her sleeve directly over what I'm working on, and gets drops of blue tinged water all over my paper. Ruined my drawing before I could finish inking it. Now there are blue spots all over it. I thank her, sarcastically, for ruining it and she says, in this cheerful voice, you're welcome. And I liked how it was turning out, too.
It finally came in the mail today!! Ahahaha I'm a happy little book nerd!

I’l be taking part in the Zevran Week drawing challenge, officially happening on friday the 27th. However, since my finals unfortunately coincide with the week I’m not entirely confident in my ability to sit down for long enough that particular day, so I’ll be taking prompts the entire week and will post the results on the official date. Also due to test week, I’ll initially only be taking four prompts and might ramp the number up later if I get the time to do them.

What do you think of the stereotype that all asians are smart?
It is very harmful due to the following reasons:
There is a lot of pressure within the Asian community for Asian children to do well academically and this stereotype just intensifies the need to do well outside of the Asian community.
If an Asian child is having difficulty at school then it is assumed they are being lazy. This needs to stop! Some Asian children have learning difficulties and instead of pinpointing the difficulties the Asian children are deemed as lazy because they are not living up to the “smart Asian” stereotype.
If there is a sudden drop in the academic performance/ attendance of an Asian child at school then people say “they don’t care anymore” when in reality it may be due to personal issues/ depression/ anxiety/ anorexia and many other mental issues.
If an Asian person does do well on an Exam, then their achievement is brushed off as “well you’re Asian so it’s normal”. This actually lowers self esteem and self worth, I can tell you this from personal experience.
Ultimately, the “Asian kids are smart” stereotype hinders society from viewing Asian children as capable of having disabilities; as capable of having a mental illnesses: as capable of being an individual person rather than some foolish stereotype.
It has a greater effect than some people think so think twice before you repeat it to another person.
