Plural Pack - Blog Posts

Gonna talk more about this.

For this post, we/us/our/etc. is being used for just the Shay Subpack unless otherwise stated.

We are all different "sides" or "facets" or "parts" of Shay, which is different from the rest of the pack.

They are separate from us in a way that's different. They are their own beings through and through. We aren't.

We are mainly just different lives that Shay has lived. Though there are some things that are slightly different between us. For example, Zuki is definitely cupioromantic, while both Cyan & Akay definitely aren't (and Shay [this life's version] is totally confused on their romanticity & sexuality). But overall, we are mainly just different "parts" of Shay.

We don't quite know if this makes us median or not, and maybe it's not that important to know, but we still would love to hear what others think.

Edit: [Also, we are pretty sure all of us had Shay in our names (middle name) in all of our lives, so there's that, lol. It's how Shay came up with using that online from having Shay as a middle name as Zuki]

We'd love to hear more about median plurals.

Cause we are kinda wondering if we (Shay subpack) are a median subpack cause we are technically all parts of Shay.

We are different from our other packmates. They are distinct. They are their own beings in a way that we in the Shay subpack aren't.

We'd just love to hear more about median plurals and their experiences.

We are gonna just call us (Shay & "kins") a subpack. If we end up being technically "wrong" with that term, then oh well.

We have a question for plural beings.

How do you know if you are a subsystem/part of a subsystem?

We are now kinda questioning if "me" (Shay and "my" kins) are technically a subpack (we use pack instead of system).

We/I get uncomfortable at times saying I/me/my/etc when it should fit (example; my wings) and would much rather say we/us/our/etc at those times. But then there are also times when we/I seem to have no real problem with I/me/my/etc.

Even if we figure out that we are a subpack in our pack, we would still probably just refer to the "kins" as just that cause fictive feels weird for them?

Honestly, we are just pretty confused, lol.

Like "my kins" feel like "me" more than my/our other packmates, but idk.

Us when we've been using these terms already and then find this, lol.

We don't really like using alter/headmate for any of us, and we were talking to one of our friends [who is also plural], and packmate was suggested as an alternative.

So we used packmate instead of alter/headmate and we use pack instead of system (we also use plural/plurality instead of system).

Pack / Pack Mate

[PT: Pack / Pack Mate]

Aaa, a system member who prefers Pack/Pack Mate instead of alter/headmate(s); a term for when you use Pack/Pack Mate instead of alter/headmate(s).
