Yup, all the weather is shifted - rainy season, first snows, etc. Even some of the wildlife has disappeared in my lifetime (fireflies, some songbirds)!

Something deeply painful is the fact that seasons, especially fall, dont feel the same. Not because of individual maturity but because climate change has impacted the weather patterns so so so much that we cant even experience the same annual shifts that our ancestors have for centuries

I feel displaced, i yearn for the spring, summer, fall, and winter that i can barely remember experiencing

It rains more and more often

But as soon as evening and finally night comes, the rain turns into thick snow, so the rain cannot win. I find such weather very cosy, because then I can snuggle up in my cozy little house with my cat and read books and drink tea♥

when I left school there was a storm going on (wind was like you had to be 5ft away from coverage to actually get coverage with it blowing sideways) and my jeans and socks got wet, then I had to go sit on damp vinyl sensory nightmare ffs 💀💀

cause im a pebble,  I grew up in the remains of a swamp, the rain always feels like home to me.

The shine on the leaves glowed brightly. The left over rain and dew dropped fell from the hands of my house, the ground caught the drops with gratitude. Tvs turned on and the indistinguishable murmurs vibrated the walls. The birds echoed in the distance, welcoming the sun that arose once more. And I sat here and watched it all, hopelessly awaiting a million more .

『夏のいっぽ手前』

週末、久しぶりに広瀬川へ。 小雨が降ったりやんだり。 やまない雨はないというけれど、今は早くやんでほしいと願う雨。

しばらく見ない間に、木々の葉はふさふさと厚みを増し、緑の絨毯には優しいピンク模様が広がっていました。

釣ったお魚を見せ合いながら、楽しそうに語らい合うおじ様たち。

そんな光景にホクホクしながら、ベンチで野点コーヒーをいただきました。自分の好きな場所を、同じように愛してくれる人がいるって嬉しいな♪

広瀬川は今、夏のいっぽ手前です。

『One step before summer』

On the weekend, I went to Hirose River after a long absence. The weather is drizzling on and off. The leaves of the trees in Hirose River are getting thicker. And the gentle pink flowers were in full bloom. People talk happily while showing each other the fish they caught.　While looking at such a scene, I had coffee on a bench. I'm glad there are people who love my favorite place in the same way ♪ Now, Hirose River is one step before summer.

雨音が心地のいい朝。ビニール傘と一緒に近くの公園へ☔

葉っぱの上で跳ねるように、花びらをそっと伝うように、雨雫があちらこちらで踊っています。 遅咲きの桜が最後の舞台を名残惜しそうに楽しんでいて、それと入れ替わるように、新緑が瑞々しい輝きを放っていました✨ 公園の春は、少しずつ次のステージに向かっています。

『Rainy promenade』

A morning in which the sound of rain is pleasant. I went to a nearby park with a plastic umbrella☔ The raindrops are dancing here and there as if they are jumping on the leaves and gently moving along the petals. The late-blooming cherry blossoms started to fall, and instead of the cherry blossoms, the fresh green was shining brightly✨ Spring in the park is gradually heading to the next season. I enjoyed the beautiful rain promenade.
