Just watched Thunderbolts* and then tried to go to sleep and my brain decided to write up a whole ass speech that Yelena should have said, idk I might write it down or something idk.

Takes place right when Valentina says the new avengers
*Yelena walks up to the podium with an air of confidence, looks at her teammates then at the press*
Yelena: This is not true, we are not this, "new avengers" she claims we are. Half of use here [Thunderbolts*] are just hired killers, and mere days ago she hired use all to try and kill each other at a laboratory up in Nevada then incinerate us to get rid of project sentry and any loose ends. Ox corp were trying to make a single superhero that was stronger than all the Avengers combined. We are just a group of scrappy antiheroes, we are the Thunderbolts.
*-The press start taking many photos and asking so questions
-Yelena walks away with the other thunderbolts following behind, Red Guardian waves at the press before following
-Valentina is shocked and watches the thunderbolts leave
-Congressman Gary is in shock/impressed by the new information he just hears*
Post credit scene: Same as before
Post Post credit scene: *The Thunderbolts* are giving Sam a tour of the building, having a few takeout bags of shrawma, the rest of the scene stays the same*
I'm going to see Thunderbolts* tomorrow and I'm so freaking excited
New Fanfiction Changes: Titles

Earlier, I have posted about my new black widow fanfiction, and how I have made some edits to it, and in the process changed it up.
One of the most notable changes I have made is to the title.
Originally, I had planned to release one fic, titled "The Widows Caretaker". However, I have changed my plans, to instead release a series of fics, to explains where it all starts and where it all ends up. As such, I have changed the titles, so they flow together in a series.
I have changed it to the red medic series.
The Red Medic is the protagonist Olgas vigilante alias.
As of now, here are the stories, in chronological order(in terms of setting):
Red Guardian and the Red Medic
Red Medic: Part 1
Red Medic: Part 2
Red Medic and the Red Widow
TLDR: "The Widows Caretaker" is now titled as the "Red Medic" series.
In my next post, I will explain changes I made to the setting. If you are a fan of the TV series Yellowstone, you will be excited to hear about this story!

New Fanfiction Edits

As a warning, this is a long post.
Earlier, I posted that while my new Black Widow fanfiction is 4 years in the making, it still needed some edits. I have made those edits, but I promise I did not make many changes.
It is still a crossover between Earth-616 and Earth-730834. As in, Alexei Shostakov in my new fanfiction is Alexei Shostakov in Earth-730834.
In addition, I have adapted Earth-616 characters, to my interpretations that are appropriate for the story.
The protagonist is still Alexei's illegitimate daughter olga. Olga is my adaptation of Earth-616 Black Widow comics character Oleg Mihalovich.
In addition, the protagonists daughter is still ava. Ava in my fanfiction is still my adaptation of Ava Orlova aka the red widow, a well-known Earth-616 character.
*FYI I have not listed Olga and Avas last names. The reason is because Olga's last name changes in different stories based on her family situation and marital status, and on Avas last name, I will explain that in a further post in which I discuss adaptations of other characters. Thank you for understanding.
In addition, Olga is still an emergency medicine resident then physician, and the story is still set in a rural area in the northern great plains.
In total, I have not made many changes in the process of editing my new fanfiction.
In future posts, I will explain what changes I do make, and once I clear those out, start posting about the story, in the form of concise rough drafts. So please stay tuned for upcoming posts!

I am sorry that I haven's posted in a long time. I have been very busy with schoolwork, and haven't carved out the time to write blog posts.
Over six months ago, I finally got around to posting previews of my Black Widow fanfiction, titled "The Widows Caretaker". I had stated that it was four years in the making, so I had been waiting a long time to publish it. Well, four years was not enough time to perfect it, at least to my standards. So, I have edited it again, to make it make more sense. I will explain why in further posts shortly.

After I proof-read my marvel-descendants crossover fanfiction "The Widows Caretaker", I noticed that it did not make as much sense as I wanted it to. As such, I revised and edited it. Unfortunately, to make it make sense, I ended up drastically changing the context of the story. I will explain more in another post.

Personally, I am 50/50 on it. I am excited for the return of some characters, but not others.

i watched thunderbolts yesterday night and i am not the same person i was before i sat down in that theater. the mental health representation, the anti heroes banding together, the start of their redemption arcs, yelena's monologue, john walker being (surprisingly and unfortunately) funny, bob's entire character in general, james buchanan barnes (obviously), THE HUG??? someone needs to sedate me before i do something insane like trying to shift into this universe to be friends with everyone as if it's still 2020.

black widow was so good i’m in awe. i was consistently surprised by how little they sexualized her and how throughout the whole thing what she was wearing made sense. i loved the relationship between her and yelena, it felt very real and solid, which made me more interested in yelena’s character. the female relationships in this hit so hard and the theme was clearly about natasha forming bonds. (i also appreciated the fact that no cameos were made by other avengers, which might be an unpopular opinion).
Can we talk about how no one seems to acknowledge in the mcu that Bucky took the serum unwillingly. That he was experimented on against his will and absolutely terrified of what it would do to him.
Yet you have John walker talking how much Bucky must enjoy it. At what price and what use when he’s to afraid to use that strength
Sam talking about how he should have taken it like him. When Bucky literally did not.
Even now the red guardian being all like oh the fancy stuff. As if it wasn’t a experiment that had high failure and Bucky was lucky enough to survive.
And even with all that, no one even sees he’s as much as a exceptional like Steve by not being corrupted by the serum.
And please marvel please let someone please acknowledge these two things and say it in the mcu because he deserves to hear them.

This film is so amazing like showing us some of the some of the red room was jus peak and yelena helping overcome bob his trauma but why didnt they show us what bucky saw in the void that would intresting like sth ab this like he in the comics had his first mission to kill his parents. I jus dont get it why Sam would wanna sue Avengers(Thunderbolts) for the name cuz like Bucky is a part of the new Avengers and bro they are besties and man...
I did not wanted to see their divorce🥀💔 (well its not shown only said but damn bro)
And that the ship from fantastic 4 shows up is like mind blowing

no because it’s really really important to me that in a world where we’re so used to the heroes punching and shooting their way to victory, thunderbolts* went out of its way to show us that the void is still very much a part of bob, and bob is their friend, so they’re going to accept every facet of who he is and give him a soft place to land, even if that means they’ll have to be the ones to pull him back from the darkness every single time. because that’s what friends family will do for each other, no questions asked.

No but to be serious guys i didnt expect that movie to be that kind of good. I expected great fights. I expected complicated morals. I did not expect that movie to say i know everything seems hopeless but you dont get a choice, you have to try. I did not expect that movie to say when we are up against an impossible, unjust threat the only way through is freely given kindness and forgiveness. I did not expext that movie to say the real way villans win is by preying on those we’ve already decided are hopeless. I did not expect that movie to say we all have to believe we can get better. Please believe me we can all get better. Oh my god.

What I Love About Black Widow 2021
SPOILERS, so read at your own risk ;)
There are so many things I absolutely loved about the Black Widow movie it would be insane to try and mention all of them, but I'm going to hit some of my favorites:
Firstly, we get to really see Nat shine as a fully fleshed out and relatable character, rather than obligatory female member and eye candy.
She doesn't like letting people get close to her because when she does, she tends to love them with all her heart and will do anything for them. So when they betray her or are taken away, the pain is so overwhelming that it's easier to try and forget them, and keep everyone else at a distance. But even after all that time has passed, you can see she never really let her loved ones go; they were always in her heart and she will always love them (something I can relate to).
And it's not just her family she cares about. She cares about other people, even the ones who try to kill her. She tried to save that first Widow that went after them - grab her before she fell, and then tried to administer first aide. When she sees that there are more girls enslaved, she risks her life to get their information so they can be freed. She doesn't leave Antonia in her cell to die, but lets her out, and then frees her by using one of the few remaining Red Dust cures, which was a risk because they could have needed it in order to create more, and she couldn't have known for sure it would work on Antonia.
Nat shows that compassion and mercy are not weaknesses, but the ultimate strengths.
But she's not without flaws, flaws and regrets that still haunt her. You see the relief in her eyes when she realizes she didn't kill Antonia, but then the guilt of knowing it was her fault she was turned into Taskmaster. To me, it sounded like she was apologizing for both. And it's those feelings of guilt and regret and the need to apologize that really make her human.
And then we see the other Widows take Antonia with them. My bestie put it like this: "Girls helping other girls regardless of what they've been through or done is really so universally powerful."
I love how the underlying themes of family, pain, guilt, mercy, compassion, and inner strength were so prominent in this film and yet, it wasn't preachy. I feel like the best messages are the ones that show rather than tell.
Now onto the not so heavy things I loved:
(Okay, this one is kinda heavy), Loved that despite having been apart for so long, Nat and Yelena easily fall back into being sisters. It's how I am with mine and the film was able to portray that so well.
Love how much of dork Yelena is about her vest and it's pockets. Actually, love how much of a dork Yelena is period. With her disgust of 'poses', blunt observations, and comments on whether something is a cool way to die. (and another slightly heavy love - the fact that she got her dog and named it after the alias Nat pointedly disliked).
Red Guardian being a horrible dad but still trying so hard anyway, because he loves his family and refuses to give up.
All the action scenes. Seriously. Love those action scenes. But also really appreciate the pacing that allowed the characters and audience to breathe.
Melina being the best mom. Every moment she has is a Best Mom moment.
Costumes were amazing. (I want that vest, including all the pockets).
That the director was a woman. Yes to more female directors!
The witty dialogue between all the characters in every scene. Seriously, none of those jokes let me down and had me laughing so hard.
The fact that we get to see a low-key call back to Nat's introduction in Avengers where she pretends to be helpless in order to get the bad guys to reveal their 'diabolical plans'. Works every time.
Still am super sad that Nat Black Widow is dead in the MCU, but I'm thrilled she got to go off on a super high note.

Soooo, there actually was one thing I didn't like (but it certainly didn't ruin the movie for me, I am going to watch it again and again and get so much merch).
But I had a problem with Taskmaster.
To me, Taskmaster had the potential to be Marvel's Thrawn (a different sort of main threat that forces the established heroes to struggle in ways they haven't had to before and defeat said threat using new skills). So to treat Taskmaster as more of a throwaway cameo character was disappointing. Because honestly, the story doesn't need them. They could have been swapped with any random Widow and the plot would have stayed exactly the same - having Taskmaster in the movie doesn't add to the story in any way. So I'm hoping Marvel will have someone else take on the mantle and we really get to see them as a major threat.
But other than that, THE MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!! 9/10 from me. It has become one of my top three best/favorite Marvel movies for me, alongside Captain America: the First Avenger and Black Panther.
However much would I not care about what Marvel is doing now, but
A literal russian guy with "z" on his chest. Which may I remind you is a russian version of swastika, with which they mark their tanks and which they use to show that they fully support this genocidal war.
Why. Just fkn why are you so determined to glorify murders? And I'm not even talking about this particular character right now, of course he's a 💅misunderstood antihero💅, and for some reason, out of all the countries in the world, those have to be from Russia.
Should I remind you that actual russians dropped two missiles in the center of my city at a religious holiday? That actual russians captured a journalist and tortured her so bad her body was missing some parts when it was returned? That actual russians kidnapped over 700 000 children from Ukraine and now raise them as new generation of solders?
And don't you say that "that was in comics, it was before invasion", we all know how easily canon can be changed if someone spots a hint on something theoretically offensive, and here we have a fucking "russian nazi bingo". Positive character is from Russia (that won't give up its imperialistic ambitions and admit its war crimes for the last three centuries) - ✔️, he's nostalgic about USSR ("prison of nations" that literally killed tens of millions of its own citizens) - ✔️, wears "z" on his chest (I explained above) - ✔️✔️✔️
And I know they didn't mean it. I know it's most likely not some evil plot to brainwash people into supporting Russia. They added it because they didn't know. They didn't care about thousands killed civilians enough to check some history and change some details.
This neglection is just cruel.
