having fans behind your cheeks that speed up when you're flustered... it's like blushing but people can also hear it happening
Thinking about robotgirls. Imagine having a fan that whirl up or down depending on if you're anxious or excited or relaxed, making that clicking sound hard disks make (which I know wouldn't be suited for a robot but i like the idea ok) whenever you think or try and remember something, getting your components refurbished like a spa day or manicure or even going out and buying a new shiny component as a treat. Being able to make physical adjustments to yourself or have someone else fiddle around with your workings inside. Making out with someone and they know you're into it because every component is buzzing and whiring and running at full power. Having to be plugged in but not necessarily needing to sleep and for briefer periods than humans, yet you still choose to sleep with your human gf/bf so you can be together. Talking with other robot girls about the components you use and new things you're trying out.
Does anyone remember her? Well, whatever, but i drew her again, so there's that

Just found out about DRN through your blog and oh my god it's instantly life-changing. I feel like I can actually think properly for the first time in forever. Having an actual terminal with a nice, organized program that accounts for errors and nuance is fucking incredible. I'm absolutely overjoyed. Just simply euphoric. Telling all of my techkin friends about this (and my partner hehe ^^~). Thank you so so much for sharing about this.

This is EXACTLY why I've been sharing it and promoting it, because same here! Super happy that I'm spreading the word!
Boot sequence finished. You "wake up" for the morning, but your internal clock says you've slept in which is odd. You attempt to move but get some kind of error message, and before you can process why you're immobile you hear your Girlfriend's smooth and sultry voice;
"Good morning my love," she coos at you, "I think it's time we do some maintenance on that cute chassis of yours."
The errors you get back read that something is overriding you in your own body. Something inside you has more authority in your body than you do.
"Oh you must have noticed the new software, it's nothing my sweet machine," she softly says, caressing your face, "Just something I can use to help me with this."
Before you can process what "This" is, she reaches down to your hip area with a screwdriver and starts fiddling around. You can feel every touch, every turning of the screwdriver, and every screw as it falls away from you. She barks out a verbal command that seemingly is unable to be processed consciously by you as you get a notification from your OS that your leg is being detached.
She holds it up to you, grinning from ear to ear. Reaching down she pulls up a large toolbox onto the bed.
"You never got to choose your chassis, and I know how dysphoric that makes you, so how about I take you apart piece by piece and repair, change, or replace everything that causes you turmoil?"
She plugs her phone into your neck port and sends files to you. Dozens of different legs, arms, torsos, and even heads. Thousands of dollars each, you speak your concern to your girlfriend who just assures you "The price tag is nothing compared to your happiness."
You try not to think about how her software she installed on you has seemingly more control of your body than you do, and focus on the fact that you finally get to be who and what you want to. Finally able to pick and choose and become the machine you always wanted to be.
Finally able to be happy in your own plating.
I’m getting into metalworking and 3d modeling+printing, so I think it would be fun to take a robot girl in a mass produced body, and slowly replace her parts with personalized and fun home made pieces, rename her files into silly inside jokes, braid her cords and add doodles and little hearts to the back side of her panels!
Sounds hot
All of my driving anxiety has basically vanished since trying to think of myself driving as "jacking in" like to mech of some sort and using it to transport myself and my partner(s) to and from locations. I already did something similar to help me get a feel of how big the vehicle actually was so this felt just like a natural extension of that.
Hell yeah species euphoria
Should I make a robotgirl blog?

The more the better. Indulge and be welcomed into the community
Genuinely if it's something you're interested in, go for it. I love seeing more robotkin blogs on Tumblr!

There's one thing I don't get about DRN...WHERE does one use it? I know it's supposed to be pseudo coding language and the site indicates it should be or can be typed, but in which case how does my drone access it? So we get to choose where the programme is run? For example, how/where would you personally test DRN for us?
First off, for those who don't know, DRN is a psuedo-code language used to write "programs" for people to run, usually drones, dolls, robots, etc.
I have a personal text based repository via an app on my phone that I use for my DRN (Drone Restraint Notation) code, an application called Obsidian. A paid subscription is needed to use on multiple devices but it's $5 a month and I use it also as a repository for my story ideas/writing WIPs so it's worth it to me. It's also possible to have separate repositories and just send files between programmer and the target drone/maid/doll/robot to add to their obsidian files. You could just as easily make and share a Git file or some sort of shared Google folder for free. Any online repository would be ideal for sharing with your drone/maid/doll/robot.
(Side note, since I use this as a gender/species affirmation thing I'm experienced in writing DRN for simple day-to-day tasks as well as spicy things and can help with both. Running on code to me feels euphoric and helps a lot with executive dysfunction which is why I do it, but I understand that everyone's view on DRN will be unique/different)
When it comes to sending it to me, you can go ahead and send the entire block via asks or DMs (let me know you're sending it to me before just throwing it all in there though please), hell you could even screenshot it!
As per how I can test these DRN files, there's a few ways. I could compare it to my code as well as the code of some acquaintances OR I could just run the program myself/a friend depending on what it is and get back with results. Not everything would be able to be tested the later way, but it is an option.
Now, how does that all work? Well I have scheduled events/programs and spontaneous ones that must be manually done.
Some of my programs have triggers for specific events, like whenever I feel I'm getting ready for bed (or when the clock hits Midnight) I have a nightly routine program that kicks in. It's fairly simple so I have it dedicated to my memory banks at this point but it never hurts to check it again to refresh my memory.
Some of my programs need to be manually run. A good SFW example is that my boyfriend sometimes sends me this message "EXECUTE: Vault/DRN/Main/Commands/Status_Report.DRN" which makes me stop what I'm doing in the exact moment to fill out a sheet and talk to them about my general physical condition and mental state.
If you have any further questions please feel free to let me know!
(Also if anyone wants me to share my code I 1000% would be willing to)
