I'm currently writing a lesbian pirate au of Sally face (it was kind of inspired by alabaster's au) and why tf did I make Travis a yearner.
My girl needs to write a poem (a scandalous one since it's a bit of a smut fic maybe), so that means that I have to write one.

Travis is in that awkward stage of life where you need to figure out your self, but it seems that he can't have it easy. Between trying to not die at the hands of his father, manage a job, try to also not let his sisters suffer like he does and manage a whole new friendship his life is very much full; but obviously he can't seem to catch a break.
Or alternatively Travis is a witch and can't figure out how seeing ghosts might help him.
Most of the ppl who are anti/dislike Salvis and salash be like: i don't like this ship bc for me it doesn't make sense/is toxic. But i'll not harass u if you like it, just dni with me
Most of the ppl who are anti/dislike larrysher be like: "i hope you don't have siblings, you're weird. Lol", "that's gross asf", "if you ship it, you should kill yourself" (haha, harass)
Emphasis on "almost" because I don't know what everyone in the world is like (obviously), and I'm also not counting the old fandom in the post. Also, this is just the majority of the people I see (all of them tbh). Btw, all the things written in the second paragraph are actually things I heard lol

Salash (Sal x Ash): 7/10 I think they are very cute :D Ashely can be kinda too much at times so I gave it a 7/10 !!
Salvis (Sal x Travis): 9.5/10 I personally think it is the best ship but I think both of them have a lot of problems and mental struggles that I feel would probably get in the way of their relationship.

Todd x Sal: 6/10 I only recently found out that people ship other characters with Todd. Like i thought we all had a mutual agreement that Neil and Todd were perfect together but ig not lol I dont have a problem with it tho i think it adorable. I personally dont really ship it. Maybe kinda but not really lol. Its kinda cute tho!
Todd x Travis: 10/10 (used to be a 7/10 but now its my fav ship lmao) Once again i didnt know people shipped anybody else with Todd. This is kinda cute I actually like it a lot lmao I feel like the bathroom scene still makes sense with this ship. Its kinda cute and I like it more than sal x todd lol
Larvis (Larry x Travis): 6/10 (This used to be a 2/10 but I have changed my mind lmao) i actually really like larvis now bc bow I actually know why people ship it. I think it is pretty cute🙏🏻🙏🏻
Larry x Todd: 4/10 i dont have any strong feelings on this tbh. I dint really see it but I dont hate it or anything it okay.
Chug x Maple: 10/10 Cuteee (and cannon aaaaaa) they are a great couple and work really well together. I love this a lot :D
Maple x Larry: 6/10 I can kinda see it tbh. I saw this theory that the reason Maple is so awkward around Larry is because they used to date or something. Idk if its cannon tho but I like this idea a lot :D
Chug x Sal: 0/10 why is this a thing?!?!?!?!
Phillip x Travis (Phillip is gonna get his own post that will discuss this ship as well): 3/10 If phillip was in the game as a cannon character with actual scenes then maybe this would have liked this ship better. Fannon phillip is just to much like sal and is kinda of not his own character. I dont really like it that much but ig its not terrible.
Phillip x Larry: 0/10 wth is this fandom omg😭😭 Phillip isnt even a character idk who you guys are coming up w this stuff.
Phillip x Ashley: 2/10 I feel the same way for basically all phillip ships! (Except for Phillip x Travis) but i read a fanfic that had this ship as a side ship it was kinda cute so extra points ig

Just a rant about Travis mischaracterization in sally face (salvis) fanfiction (Please don't take this post too seriously if you are a fanfiction writer I love you and we should just get married <33)
This is mainly about salvis (sal x travis) fanfiction btw and it kinda goes along with a post I made talking about how the fandom treats Travis and I am gonna make a post about the mischaracterization of sal soon as well (I know I am spelling so many words wrong lmao) BEGINNING OF RANT: Why do so many fanfic writers make travis some uwu shy boy?!?!?! I feel like Travis wouldnt be "Shy" when he is trying to be nice I feel like he would just sound agressive when he speaks if that makes sense. Idk why everyone just got the idea that Travis (after the bathroom scene in episode three) would just become shy or quiet. Like he was loud and not shy when he was bullying sal but all of a sudden he become shy and anxious?!?! that makes no sense to me. Also I am not trying to say that you cant write travis like this because in reality he was only in the game for like a few minutes but idk its just something that bugs me for some reason. I dont really care if you see travis like this btw live your truth king (or queen or wtv idrk) I am just saying in most salvis fics I have read travis is always just so....not travis lol. Btw I am not trying to shit on any persons writing because I do see a lot of this mischaracerization (idk if I can even call it that tbh but I cant really think of any other word for it) in peoples writing and I dont wan it to look like I am shitting on their work. I am not a writer but I do know that commiting to writing an entire work based off of one of your intrests takes talent and dedication so I am not trying to sound rude to any of those people because I respect them a lot, I just think it is weird how people see travis after the bathroom scene because when I first played the game I thought he would probably just be more nice ig. Why tf does most of the sally face fandom hate ashley??? I have seen it mostly from salvis shippers but a lot of people just hate her for no reason as well. As salvis #1 shipper (trust) ASHELY DOES NOT GET IN THE WAY OF THE SHIP BFFR. She is literally one of the best charactres in the game. Like you are allowed to dislike characters that fine but to slander her for stupid reasons like "she gets in the way of my ship" or "she called the police on sal" LIKE WGAF. She called the police on sal because HE MURDERED AN ENTIRE BUILDING OF PEOPLE WHAT ELSE WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO. "She went against him in court" YEAH SO THAT HE DIDNT GET THE DEATH SCENTENCE (....) SO THAT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT TO A MENTAL INSTITUTION TO GET HELP. You guys have to remember that ash never believed in the ghosts and stuff like sal and larry did because she never saw the ghosts or demons. She only found out ghosts and demons actually existed when she saw larrys ghost in episode 5. To her sal was insane blaming his murders on demons. She was probably just concerned for her friend (and possible love interest) and his mental health. Please leave my girl ash alone :(((
