My thoughts on oc x cannon
Why does everyone hate oc x cannon? Ik a lot of people on here dont but on like every other social media platform I have ever been on everyone seems to DESPISE oc x cannon and I just don't get why???? Like are you guys allergic to joy magic and fun?!??!?! I personally LOVE oc x cannon. I feel like I am oc x cannon #1 fan atp. I literally rewrote an entire game as a book with over 80 THOUSAND words with my oc as one of the side characters😭😭 (yes it was sally face btw) I LOVE oc x cannon sm its unhealthy😭😭

Salash (Sal x Ash): 7/10 I think they are very cute :D Ashely can be kinda too much at times so I gave it a 7/10 !!
Salvis (Sal x Travis): 9.5/10 I personally think it is the best ship but I think both of them have a lot of problems and mental struggles that I feel would probably get in the way of their relationship.

Todd x Neil: 10/10 One of the best ships (and it cannon yesss) Neil is so sweet and I love him sm they are perfect for each other jabdidbsiebwjwbsj

Todd x Sal: 6/10 I only recently found out that people ship other characters with Todd. Like i thought we all had a mutual agreement that Neil and Todd were perfect together but ig not lol I dont have a problem with it tho i think it adorable. I personally dont really ship it. Maybe kinda but not really lol. Its kinda cute tho!
Todd x Travis: 10/10 (used to be a 7/10 but now its my fav ship lmao) Once again i didnt know people shipped anybody else with Todd. This is kinda cute I actually like it a lot lmao I feel like the bathroom scene still makes sense with this ship. Its kinda cute and I like it more than sal x todd lol
Larvis (Larry x Travis): 6/10 (This used to be a 2/10 but I have changed my mind lmao) i actually really like larvis now bc bow I actually know why people ship it. I think it is pretty cute🙏🏻🙏🏻

Fannon phillip is just to much like sal and is kinda of not his own character. I dont really like it that much but ig its not terrible.

This is mainly about salvis (sal x travis) fanfiction btw and it kinda goes along with a post I made talking about how the fandom treats Travis and I am gonna make a post about the mischaracterization of sal soon as well (I know I am spelling so many words wrong lmao) BEGINNING OF RANT: Why do so many fanfic writers make travis some uwu shy boy?!?!?! I feel like Travis wouldnt be "Shy" when he is trying to be nice I feel like he would just sound agressive when he speaks if that makes sense. Idk why everyone just got the idea that Travis (after the bathroom scene in episode three) would just become shy or quiet. Like he was loud and not shy when he was bullying sal but all of a sudden he become shy and anxious?!?! that makes no sense to me. Also I am not trying to say that you cant write travis like this because in reality he was only in the game for like a few minutes but idk its just something that bugs me for some reason. I dont really care if you see travis like this btw live your truth king (or queen or wtv idrk) I am just saying in most salvis fics I have read travis is always just so....not travis lol. Btw I am not trying to shit on any persons writing because I do see a lot of this mischaracerization (idk if I can even call it that tbh but I cant really think of any other word for it) in peoples writing and I dont wan it to look like I am shitting on their work. I am not a writer but I do know that commiting to writing an entire work based off of one of your intrests takes talent and dedication so I am not trying to sound rude to any of those people because I respect them a lot, I just think it is weird how people see travis after the bathroom scene because when I first played the game I thought he would probably just be more nice ig. But still be pretty aggresive or rude lol. Its kinda hard to explain how I see travis acting but it definitly isnt like how I see everyone else portraying him so I just thought I would share. Okay so I saw this post on tiktok of someone basically defending Kenneth Phelps (The man with the dog mask for those who dont know) and I just wanted to come on here and rant about it because I have nothing else to do rn. Also the video that I originally saw I am pretty sure was a joke but I did see some people who actually were being fr about liking him (erm..) but anyways I saw some people who were just "simping" (I hate that word sm but I dont how else to describe it lol) for his ugly ahh. We literally dont even see his face he just wears a furry suit the whole time. How is that attractive to you??? Also people are saying that he can be redeemed like uhmmmm no?!?!?!?! All he did in the game was shoot sal in the face and kill his mother, Abuse his son (poor travis :((), and lead a cult that was gonna end the entire world. There is nothing redeeming about him or anything attractive so I dont see why you guys are defending him. (There re very few people who do or say these things I am pretty sure most people hate kenneth but I have seen a few posts that looked pretty real and thats wayyyy to much for me so I am gonna write about because why tf not lol)
Can people please stop shipping Sal and Larry PLEASE. They are BROTHERS. I get that they are not blood related but THEY SEE EACH OTHER AS BROTHERS!!!!! Its just weird to ship them. Also I see that when people point out why it is weird to ship literal BROTHERS (i will never get over this shit istg) People will say things like "well they are just step brothers so its okay..."I HAVE EVEN SEEN PEOPLE SAYING SHIT LIKE "Everyone has had feelings for a step sibling at least once" like WHAT?????? Opinion on SOME people in the sally face fandom
I feel like a lot of people mischaracterize Travis. Like I feel like all they see him as "Lil gay boy who has a silly little crush on Sal" Like???? No. He is way more than that. He is a very complicated and well written character (imo) and even though there inst really much of him in the game (Which there should be tbh) he is still an amazing character who I feel should be respected more in the fandom lol. But maybe its just me idk. But anyways, I love Travis sm you guys omg. He is the best character in the game to me because I relate to him a lot. I just wish SOME people in the fandom appreciated his character more. (and I do see a lot of that in the fandom which makes me happy !!) (Also I do understand that this is a small part of the fandom that does this and I may be overreacting lol but I really just wanted to write about something sally face related because I am bored so I thought I would share my opinion lol ALSO I am going to make some sally face art probably but idk when I will post it sooooo yeah ig.
