Hello my little wolves!~
No, I'm not dead. You're not reading the blog of a ghost, I promise!
It would be kinda awkward, admit it. đł
Well! Let's back to the business, will ya?
A while ago, I did a "Redraw Challenge" or what some of us call a "False Screenshot" of Serena/Selena from Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V.
There is the original version of the model đ:
Aaaaaaaannnnnnnd.....This is my redraw!
Yes, I take some liberties. But, wasn't that the goal of this kind of challenge?
....Let's not dive inside that kind of stuff, shall we?
Well...I just hope it's not complete trash, and you will appreciate it. đđ
And I say goodbye for now!~đ
Ciao my little wolves!
âĄMay your heart be your guiding keyâĄ
Itâs been a while, huh?
SighâŚI love ZanaâŚI wish she was real đđ

Abby please f me đ Also Nadine also having big arms was the biggest win I had ever experienced. In addition Serena was my first game crush since I played skyrim when I was like 8.
MJ, I won't lie I didn't even realise it was her but I always thought she was so fine.
y'all don't fw purple- the elissabat from monster high, raven from teen titans, Serena from downtown MTV- type purple the way I do
Okay, so stay with me here. In Pokemon XY/XYZ, Serena did Pokemon Performances. And I realized quickly how similar they are to the competitions May and Dawn did in their respective seasons. And I remember how Ash participated in one or two of them himself. So: What if Serena became sick before one of her performances and had to get a substitute so she could still (kind of) perform? Imagine thereâs a rule that allows a performer/regular performer to let someone fill in for them. WHAT IF Ash was her substitute? I mean, he does have experience from Hoenn and Sinnoh, and because heâs watched Serena do it before, he knows how they work. It wouldnât be too much of a surprise if he stepped in. OR, in another scenario, they could do a double performance together if it was required for one of her usual competitions. I can just IMAGINE Ash nailing a Pokemon Trivia Quiz, or him performing with Serena in MATCHING OUTFITS!!
WHY HAS NO ONE THOUGHT OF THIS?!? I would love to see more fanart, I mean there barely is anything!
Hands fold delicately beneath her chin, large brown doe eyes watching with interest as he takes her in. Likely trying to figure her out. They all did it, humans and vampires alike. She didn't fit into their definable boxes that separated them from one another. Humans knew - without always knowing how or why - that she was different. Vampires often wondered the nature of her fluttering heartbeat. How she smelt like them yet with something alive inside. Serena often wondered that part herself, how something so unnatural had the capacity to be born just like a human. It didn't become any easier, watching her siblings births. Perhaps that was why she liked to drink, to forget.
Though it seemed she would have a harder time convincing this one to grant her every whim. Human bartenders, human men especially, were easy. Malleable, so single minded that the mere thought of getting close to a creature like her had them falling over themselves to please her. It did become a little boring after a time. She didn't so mind the challenge or being levelled with. Head tilts ever so slightly as she takes him in this time, wondering just how old he was. His smile playful but his eyes told a deeper story that have her leaning closer to try and drink them in. "I heard you, but I was hoping you might make an exception." She pouts, before shrugging and leaning back.
Turning to take in the place properly before turning back to him, she raises a brow. "Not a very good business model, this. You could be bringing in some other types of clientele." Leaning down beside the bar, Serena picks up what looks like some sort of jewelry piece adorned with an upside down cross scattered in tacky, fake red diamonds in the shape of blood drops. "Ones who aren't children playing make believe."
Malakai watched her approach from his peripheral while he continued his task of cleaning the night's used glasses. When she took a seat, he slid a glass into place and dropped his towel on the counter. His hands found resting places on the edge of the sink. Now he looked at her. Really looked at her, not just the glance he gave her when she'd walked in.
There was a slight narrowing of his eyes and his nose twitched ever so slightly. For a moment, he considered turning her out. He didn't care about the bills she pushed across the counter, the register was already closed and shut down for the night. It was one of the first things he did after the last patron had filtered out of the club. But he'd be lying if he said he hadn't been intrigued by her the moment she sat down. Something was different. Not quite human, not quite vampire. An amused smile spread across his lips. "Did you miss the part where I said last call already happened?" he teased lightly.
One hand lifted to motion around the silent club. The overhead lights were on, but the colorful dance floor lights, the stage's spotlights, and the LED strips that helped contribute to the atmosphere during operating hours had been shut off. "In case you didn't notice, we're not exactly open for business." That same teasing tone lingered in his voice, and he made no effort to tell her she had to leave. At least not yet.
Serena preferred the night; not just to hunt but to roam. It was somehow less lonely than walking amongst the activities of humans in their waking hours. Each breath, each heartbeat, marching them closer to an ultimate demise. The inevitability of it all made them cling to every precious, fleeting, moment. Death was a mistress none of them wanted to face until they were ready. She came too soon for some of them and they knew it possible. Sometimes Serena herself had aided her cause.
No, the night was for those others who had slipped the grasp of death well beyond their time. Who had seen death claim countless humans while she let them continue on. Serena may have been half human but death did not seem to be a condition of her existence. Still, she liked to dance with her, testing the limitations of her immortal side with the many vices that sent humans to an early grave. It was her own, private experiment. One her father was not in control of for once.
The bar had stuck out like a sore thumb, the only one with the lights still on at the hour. Wandering inside, the hybrid assesses the punky interior with slight amusement. It looked like exactly the kind of bar a human would assume a vampire owned, and she can smell one behind the bar. Swinging herself onto the stool, she rests an elbow on the bar, eyeing him with curiousity. "You could offer a paying customer a drink." Pulling some cash from her leather jacket, a sharp, manicured nail slides the generous offering of bills ( courtesy of the nights earlier dinner ) toward him with a sweetly smile. The hybrid knows a vampire may be far less fooled by her mask than a human bartender. Still, it was habit.
@prairieghcsts liked for a starter
"Last call was hours ago," Malakai commented, barely glancing up at the newcomer as he dried the glass in his hand with a towel. Eyes shifted to the clock then back to his work. Closing had been hours ago too. Did he forget to lock the door again? Anyways...this had to be a vampire, most people would be home already, sleeping to help put off tomorrow's hangover.
There was a soft tinkling as the glass was slid into place to hang over the bar with the rest of them, followed by a dull whirring as he used the barmaid to scrub another glass. Eyes flicked to his guest one more time than down to the three-compartment sink. Scrub, rinse, sanitize, dry. He continued, "Is there something I can do for you? Call you a cab?"
@vervainlacedveins asked: There is one thing about being a vampire that I must fear above all else, and that is loneliness. (Serena)
Loneliness. The word evokes a feeling in the pit of the hybrids stomach similar to if she'd ingested bad blood. Something rattling about in there, crying out, distant yet uncomfortably close all at once. A familiar friend standing in her periphery who she didn't want to look at. It was all she'd ever known.
Though her father had taught her to not dwell on such trivial emotions. Companions were only needed for those still play pretending humanity. "It is not so lonely." She purses her lips, restraining her features from betraying her. "There are other immortals to share in the experience with." Her and her siblings were hardly close but they were the only other ones to have gone through what she had. Though, even then, it was hardly comparative. None of them had to witness how hybrids like them came into this world, none of them had been their father's first experiment. His prototype, pulled apart to see how their kind could come back together again. None of them had to raise themselves. The only one who had been through her with it all was that familiar friend. Loneliness.
Her father had acquired this place years ago, the perfect hunting ground for his experiments. Full of unsuspecting participants already willing to offer themselves up to a vampire without a fight. Though those who became a part of his studies certainly became less willing once they realised what was growing inside them. When they eyed the hybrid as she moved through the club few of them understood they were looking at a version of the demigod her father intended to replace humanity with.
The lawyer now sniffing around the club had been getting too close for Joham's liking, too close to uncovering the missing woman who had frequented the place. Her body lay in the incinerator at his lab, another failed experiment. Another woman who had looked at Serena in fear and confusion as her body gave out just as her mother's had over a century ago. This one had called Serena a "cold little bitch", which the hybrid supposed was partly true. Her responses to this kind of thing had become cold, methodical almost. She could no longer afford to grow attached to humans, she had learnt that long ago. Especially not ones who met their fate at the hands of her father. The disappointment if he saw her show any emotion toward them was enough to paralyse any emotion out of her.
Though perhaps not enough. She clutches the pendant she'd slipped off the woman's body before her father had gotten to her, turning it over in her fingers inside the pocket of her jacket. It wasn't unusual for her to keep a token, something to remind herself. Of what exactly....she wasn't sure. A fleeting impulse has her wanting to hand it over to the lawyer perched uncomfortably in his booth as she approaches. Evidence for his case. But she resists, keeping it firmly pocketed. Perhaps it was a test, her father did like to do that. Even though he had no way of knowing what she held, he was always testing her anyway. She had to remain strong, loyal. His dutiful eldest.
Slipping into the booth opposite him, Serena eyes the vampire with a curiousity. The ones still play pretending human fascinated her, a reminder of a distant time when she'd also been fool enough to try such things. Crimson lips turn into a small smirk at his reaction to the drink. Such an odd thing, so out of place with his nature. "Jacob, wasn't it?" The hybrid leans in closer, browns intently locked on his. "I heard you've been asking questions about my family's club. I'm sure you understand that the privacy of our patrons is something we take very seriously. So I trust you have a good reason for asking them?"
open to: m/f/anyone plot: Jacob is a lawyer working a case for someone & is meeting someone in a club for vampires getting vital information to win his case & help his client. hmu if youâd like to plot more! connection:Â worker or owner of the club, another vampire or supernatural, old client he helped in the past, a regular informant. either way the person heâs meeting for info.
Jacob didnât make it a habit of coming to places like this, blood clubs, places where his kind could feed freely from willing participants. The scent of blood was thick in the air, at least, to him, but he never had quite gotten over the humanity in him, even after all these centuries. It was dim lit and gothic, a stereotype if anyone asked him but it wasnât like he had much to go on. He wasnât exactly a social vampire, least of all with his own kind. Music pulsed to drown out the noises of talk, laughter, and pleasure. Over on the dance floor, a good distance from Jacob was, masses of bodies writhed together in dance and sensuality. It flowed through the place, clung just as heavy in the air as the scent of blood and sex. This was a dark place intended for dark pleasures. Certainly somewhere Jacob would never frequent but he was no stranger to such places, he had indulged in his carnal desires before.
Jake shifted in his seat at a booth tucked in a corner as far away from everyone else as possible. Heâd been holding his breath, not that he needed to fill his lungs with oxygen anymore anyway, it helped with the overwhelming scents if he didnât inhale them. There was a glass in front of him, watered down from the melting ice, and he rotated the glass in place absently as his dark eyes slowly scanned every dark crevice and face he could see. Searching impatiently. He didnât want to be here. It was clear in the rigid way he sat, decades of etiquette training from a mother that always felt appearances were everything. Jacob was uncomfortable but he was there for a reason and if the tip was correct, this was important information he needed to progress in his case. Not only in court but in helping the family as well.
His senses flared with the warning of someone approaching and Jacob snapped his gaze over to whomever it was, his face was void of anything other than mild tension. Clearing his throat Jake took a gulp of his drink, the watered down substance doing little to hide the strength of the liquor and blood inside. He almost grimaced but swallowed quickly, setting the drink back down and stirring it with the tiny straw. There was a sharpness to his gaze as he watched the other, a shine to them not quite natural but nothing like the glowing eyes scattered among the other bodies around the club. Jacob was watchful, wary, intrigued but certainly just wanted to get what he was there for and get the hell out.
"Pity..." Serena frowns, head tilting to the side. "I would've liked to see what a warrior such as yourself could endure, but I suppose you may perish of starvation instead., How....mundane." She could tell this one had delusions of grandeur, latching on to the fact to toy with him. Not simply for her father's benefit, but also her own amusement. The hybrid sighs with a shrug, tearing open the blood bag and draining it empty all to herself. Some of the crimson liquid drips down the corners of her pouted lips which she dabs at with one of her sharp painted nails. "Mmm, I think that one was a virgin."
"And you really think that I'm gonna accept any sort of liquified nutrients from you? Thanks but no thanks." Strangely enough, this was not the first time that Nandor found himself behind a cage, in fact, at this point, part of him was already used to this situation. -- Was he hungry? yes, but it wouldn't be the first time that he restricted himself from any sort of meal. "Why don't you eat it, you might need it for when I get out of here and you need the energy to run and hide when I start shredding everyone into pieces."
Hey yo, Tumblr, Ima let you finish, but prince diamond was the most believable villain in all of sailor moon, and potentially one of the best villains in anime- period.
Rant mode initiated.
DISCLAIMER
First off, letâs kick this off by saying Diamond in the manga and Diamond in the anime are two very different characters. While both had legit motivations, manga D is presented as a much colder character than Anime Diamond. In youth I read all the manga and watched all the episodes in both English and Japanese but I am most familiar with the anime, and that is certainly reflected in this rant. Sorry!
Also, a point I want to 100 percent drive home that forcing yourself on another person is disgusting - no justification, no excuses.
DISCLAIMER
Alright, letâs go!
A lot of the hate I see directed at our white prince pertains to the notion that he is a pedophile and or a pervert.
Initially, Prince Diamond fell in love/obsession with Neo queen serenity- a centuries old âgoddessâ. When presented with the opportunity to, âclaim?â (eek!) her as teenage Usagi, he bit. As mentioned above his behavior of kidnapping, possibly undressing her(we donât know if he did it himself but yea he probably did) , and in the manga-verse kissing her and in the anime verse almost kissing her, no matter the age, yes , the force involved in all of it, is disgusting.
But is Diamond a pervert or a pedophile? I donât think so.
How old is Usagi? My memory as a Moonie since youth leads me to believe that she is roughly 14 years old in the R series? Possibly 15. Too Young. However you canât fault Diamond as a pedophile and not apply the same term to Darien. Darien is roughly the same age as Diamond if not a year older. Diamond is stated to be 18, and Darien is stated to be 18/19. Darien kisses Serena at 14. Iâm rusty with the series but I recall there being jokes about making out (in the anime at least). I recall a scene in the R movie where Darien painstakingly investigates a flower shop so nobody sees him kiss Serena in public. I recall an episode of the dub where Serenaâs dad flipped out because Darien was way too old for her. Bam. Not excusing the age inappropriateness but just saying if Diamond is a pedo-prince, so is Darien. You canât jeer one and cheer the other
But OG- Serena, yes I can! Because Darienâs relationship with Serena is consensual!
TouchĂŠ! But a pedo-prince is a pedo prince is a pedo prince is a pervert.
But OG Serena, Mamoru and Usagi were together in their past lives, when they both were of age.
Maybe! But I bring this point up as a strange crook in this situation. Again the question comes into play:
How old is Serena/Usagi. 14.
How old in SerenityâŚ. Yipes. We donât know. Centuries old? 19 ? Itâs a tough call.
When you think about her age as 14, both Darien and Diamond are certifiably âcreepyâ.
I donât like to bring conjecture into rants like this, but we can assume from King Endymionâs history , that since Serenity rules 30th century Crystal Tokyo post a deep earth freeze, that she has eternal life, or longevity that far exceeds your typical human (in fact I think in the manga this is addressed directly. Wasnât there something about Rini being super old, but forever trapped in a childâs body? Sorry guys Iâm so rusty. ) This then, leads me to believe that Diamond has probably regarded her(Serenity) not as a human being, but rather a literal, ageless, goddess.
To call someone a pedophile is to insinuate that they feel sexual attraction to children. In the case of Diamond, and Darien as well(although Darien did express attraction to her before he knew anything about her) itâs not the child Usagi that they are attracted to. In Darienâs case he is in love with his love from a past life , and in Diamonds case he is in love with an ageless entity from the future.
The psychology of a pedophile plays little role here.

So whatâs so bad about shipping Demando x Usagi?
Let me start by explaining why I at least loved/LOVE this pairing. I was like maybe 10 or 11 when these episodes aired, so maybe it shows what a twisted individual I was even back then, but I always wanted Serena or rather Serenity to end up with Demando. Hereâs why:
Darien. Treated. Serena. Like. Shit.
ESPECIALLY in the R arc in the anime. (Manga Mamoru was much nicer)
Oh Serena, Iâm having these crazy nightmares about you getting hurt if we stay together⌠Letâs break up.
Seriously, if you love someone, and have loved them, lifetime after lifetime âŚ
If you love someone and have gone to hell and back, LITERALLY, for them⌠and they have done the same for youâŚ.
A few bad dreams are going to make you break up with them?
Even as a kid I couldnât buy it. It was the R arc that made me really start to dislike Serena x Darien as a couple. If someone is your soul mate and the love of your life, right from jump, you should sit this person down and talk to them about what is going on.
âHey babe, Iâve been having these crazy dreams where the Earth crumbles from under you and you disappear in a sea of white.
But Darien, isnât that an orgasm?â XD I digress.
Um but, yea, you talk it out with a person. If the trust between Usagi and Mamoru was genuine - then honesty certainly would have been the best policy. I donât care how much you love a person - you donât hurt them to âprotectâ them unless theyâre a drug addict. That entire arc, we watch as Darien plays hot and very cold with poor Usagi over something he easily could have explained with words.
"Hey babe. Love you a lot but until we figure out whatâs going on, letâs spend some time apart.
"No Darien I love you! Iâm not going anywhere!
"Love you too, but Iâm locking my door now. Kay Thnx Bye. "
Or how about
"Serena, Iâm having these nutso dreams where this voice is telling me to stay away from you so you donât get hurtâŚso you know what. Iâm going to keep you even closer to me to make sure that doesnât happen."
I mean for the second half of the season thatâs basically what happened, so why couldnât he have done that from the start?
Itâs stupid and illogical.
After all, if a few bad dreams were all it took to get Darien to drop Serena, maybe Diamond should have diverted to that tactic himself.
AND FURTHERmore!!! When has it ever been okay to test someoneâs love?!
In fact, testing someoneâs love is one of the worst things you can EVER do in a relationship. It shows a major lack of trust. Itâs insulting to your partner, manipulative, and shows that you yourself cannot be trusted.
So why the King would take such a course of action in the first place is hella sketchy.
He explains his reasoning saying, 'the overlords of the Negaverse will try to turn you against each other' and he needed to test their trust.
So anyway, after like what, 14⌠15 episodes of watching Darien treat Serena like crap, they get back together and then in comes this wicked sexy prince. Heâs got that bishi swag, wine glass in hand, laid back, legs crossed on that hideous blue/green throneâŚ
Now, Iâve already listed the ways in which Diamond behaved awfully (kidnapping, forceful kissing, creepy comments) but his obsession with Serenity was well juxtaposed against Darienâs season of assholetry.
Yes he was creeptastic and intense⌠or sexy and passionate (sorry my fan girl slipped out) but after seeing the door slammed in Serenaâs face, seeing the girl abandoned in the grocery store, seeing her played by Darien when Andrewâs sister was on his motorcycle⌠ugh, the list goes on⌠it was interesting to see someone who actually gave two shits about Usagi , verses claiming to love her while continuously mistreating her. .
But OG Serena-Chan, Diamond did not Love* Serena, he simply was obsessed with Neo Queen Serenity. She was an obstacle for him to conquer.
To some degree yes and totally. However what is really dynamic, and maybe this only applies to the anime, is that by the end , that fool loved her because he died for her. And he did not die for Neo Queen Serenity. He died for Usagi/Serena. He didnât know her? Well he went on about her big heart and kind soul. He talked about wishing to learn from her. He watched her like a Big Brother After Dark episode so he probably knew a lil more about her than we see. I meanâŚYou can 100 percent debate if it was love, but his, âsorry I liedâ and his ultimate sacrificeâŚ. seems legit.
Now, for those who say this is a bullshit rant and have already begun searching my Tumblr for pictures of crack pipes and bath salts, call off your dogs! The Negamoon family was influenced and effected by the dark crystal. We know with Emerald, it boosted her jealousy. We know with Wicked Lady, it encouraged her hate. Is it such a stretch to assume with Demando, it ramped up his need for power and control? So much to the point of having him kidnap and I donât know try to forcefully kiss someone?
Bullshit you say? Still inexcusable.
Any character who would raise his hand to another woman is just as unforgivable, whether under the influence of ânegativeâ energy or not?
Got it.
ââ-
Now letâs get to my most outrageous claim.
That Prince Diamond/ Demando is one of the most intriguing character in all of Anime. He is. Hereâs why (and I think Naoko Takeuchi did this on purpose)
The story we get about the Black Moon family is so Orwellian, itâs unreal. Since these people refused âcleansingâ they were banished to a âplanetâ, called nemesis (dude did you guys flip your shit when they discovered Eris(cough Nemesis) in 2005???) as far as far can get from the Sun.
This is why I love this arc. That story alone is so open to interpretation. Imagine some cult or some Aliens from the moon take over Earth and the leader comes to you and says, hey you, if you want live here, you need to let usâŚ. cleanse you.
UMMMMâŚ..
So many other stories and animeâs come to mind (1984, Naruto, Berserk, Elfen Lied, Ghost in the Shell, Stepford Wives ) but the one that stands out most in my mind in relation to this issue is a little anime called Psycho-pass.
I wonât spoil anything, but the villainâs motivations in that show are really an embodiment of the Nemsisian peopleâs plight. When you find out why that person is doing what they are doing⌠they become a very empathetic character. While you may not agree with his methods, you could talk for hours about the moral ambiguity of the situation at hand.
In relation to Sailor moon, who are Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion and or the Scouts to determine that people need âcleansingâ from the silver crystal? That is a part of this story that I NEVER liked. Itâs almost like getting some kind of care bear lobotomy. A wave of the wand and youâre all light and goodness?
No.
What makes humans , human are our hearts and our minds and all the good and bad things that come along with them. This notion that people who refuse âcleansingâ are banished to another planet is crazy. Itâs so Stalin. Itâs so Putin. Itâs so Mao. Itâs so Hitler. Itâs so cult. Itâs so disturbing! (I donât say this to minimize these dictatorsâ evil, but to express that the notion of, âbe cleanse or GTFOâ is a totalitarian tactic. so no offense intended everyone)
I think this is why people like or rather love the Negamoon family or hate them. Most fans I know are pretty polarized on the issue. They stand for humanity. They stand for purity, and not in the way Serena does. They are REAL, as in real characters, with real flaws and passions. Demando is love struck and power hungry to the point of delusion. Emerald is love struck, insecure and jealous to the point of conceit. Saffir is brilliant but throws his infinite wisdom aside due to love for his brother. Rubeus is a master manipulator out to prove himself. They arenât heroes but they are human* and thatâs what makes for a great story.
The Black Moon family isnât just out to take over Earth because they are âevilâ . It was at one time their home. Simply because they rebelled against the powers at be they were sent away; punished for wishing to remain pure. There is duality in their story. I feel like you can relate and get behind their cause, especially with so many plot gaps left between the present and the future storyline.
They are âvillainsâ you can get behind.
Rebels.
Underdogs.
OutlawsâŚ

Why I ship Usagi x Diamond?
Innocence vs. Corruption This theme is one of the most common and classic pairing in Literature. From the moment we meant Diamond he was virtually dripping with sex. He is lusty and suave, classy and a (dastardly) gentleman.
He has that whole vampire allure about him. While we canât assume anything I imagine he doesnât typically have to force himself on any chicks, cause he doesnât have to! Prince Diamond is a powerful dangerous dude, with a serious hard on for Usagi. There is allure in dangerous men. Point blank. period.
In addition to the Innocence vs Corruption thing, theyâre actual personalities would be a blast to write/read in fanficton and imagine. Itâs a fic Iâve always meant to write, but if I donât finish the Naruto fanfics Iâve started , the entire fandom might kill me. Imagine Diamond actually getting to know the real Serena vs Serenity. She is brash, unpolished, unrefined ; everything her future self is not. There is a plot of gold there.
Then thereâs the whole her positive influence on him⌠teaching him about life and love etc. Itâs cute.
There is the underlying hate/ tension of her being Serenity.
There are a billion reasons to ship the two!
In summary, Prince Diamond did some awful things while under the influence of Wiseman and the Dark Crystal. Would he have done the same without being under than influence we donât know. I can understand and respect anyone thinking him awful or a horrible character, but itâs just bad decorum to go around hating on anyoneâs fandom. However, everyone does have the right to say wtf they want. Darien did some messed up shit too under the influence of negative energy, and I donât see him getting half the hate Diamond gets.
So I say in defense of the prince, chill the fuck out peeps. Itâs not so unfathomable that people like Prince DiamondâŚ
whewâŚ.
