I swear by this!! Always keep your standards high. Don't lower your standards to match someone else's. No matter how educated,talented,rich or cool they believe they are; nothing compares to life education. You will come across people who decide to lower their standards just to fit-in. Don't become that. Don't stay in that company. Don't be accepting or tolerant of that. Elevate, hold on to your integrity. Keep your morals and your values high. Acceptance of prevailing standards often means we have no standards of our own. And remember, with chickens you are going to cluck but with eagles you are going to fly. #justsaying #standards
I got a little stuffed animal elephant that I've started carrying around everywhere. He was in my purse at church too, so I told my dad we were converting him to Christianity. My dad looked him over and said "Isn't he a baby?" And when I said yes, my dad said "He doesn't need to be converted. He is without sin." Which was. So cute 😭 And then during dinner, I placed him on the table next to where I sit, and I saw my dad staring at him. "What does he tell you?" I asked. My dad shook his head. "He's mute." And I was like "Oh lore? 👀"
But the point is that he doesn't make fun of me or demean me for caring so much about my stuffed animals. And it's such a blessing that I don't need to worry or even think about hiding that part of myself around him. He's setting a good standard, so if I get married in this life, I need to find a man who'll interact with my interests in a kind and open-minded way. I deserve nothing less.
Nicely put! Too many worry that they’ll be called catfishes if they aren’t 100% dressy for their SO all the time, but it’s unreasonable to expect constant prim and proper from everyone all the time.
if your husband cannot bear to see your bare face, then he does not truly love you. if you fear his reaction to when you don’t wear makeup, then he does not truly love you. he should love you in all your forms.

• Emotions and being sensitive
• Expressing our sexuality
• Resting and relaxation
• Asserting our sexual needs
• Maintaining our standards
• Saying No
• Wanting or having children
• Choosing to be childfree
• Our body count
• Our nude body
• Wearing makeup or not wearing makeup
• Having boundaries and protecting ourselves
• Our spiritual practices
• Using witchcraft
• Being ambitious
• Going to college
• Being a housewife or stay at home mom
• Loving who and what we love
