okay someone please help me i binged all of season six yesterday, and it left me in tears. claudia chops her hair off, rayllum is a thing again, VIREN IS ALIVE BUT HE DIES AGAIN?!? aaravos has a daughter, LEOLA is that daughter, callums dad was called Damian, there is a thing called being ‘Timeblind’ i now ship soren and corvus and Oh dEaR SpiRiTs sOMeoNe pLEasE hELp?!?

There was Once a Time...
A Star found himself beside.
No Storm that he could foresee...
Things and people where there as they should be.
Things, were for the most part were peaceful...
He had a daughter, who treated everyone as an equal.
Many saw her for her faults...
But it matter not, He loved her with all of his heart.
In addition, he had mastered all of the world's magic like a dart with some art.
But remember the storm....
It arrived at my door.
My daughter did not know what she did was act of war.
Defying the cosmic order...
Tipped off by Anak Araw.
So, the star council, even after begging and pleading....
Deemed that my lovely child be sent to die to settle the score.
And after weeping and grieving in area left by her pervious life retreating.
My life took on a whole new meaning...
Cosmic Order, you say, well then chaos shall superseed it!
And Chaos he caused and did....
Humans now have dark magic...
They wield it and use it.
Elves were scared of this new development and tried to impede....
But this caused war on both sides....
Created in me quite a gleam and happiness surpise.
But So, my crimes catch up to me...
And then imprisoned me at the bottom of my daughter 's dead sea.
My home looked like my pervious dwelling that I owed....
How cruel there are...
Do they not know that only fuels the fire.
Stars can burn quite a while and hotter the sun in desire!
So, I bid my time...
I play both sides like a fiddle in a rhyme.
I plan....
People keep falling with the same old gimmick, just like when there were created in grand.
No mistake, I am not asking for mercy....
My motivations are that of a man.
Surely, many would understand.
Leola, can you hear me?
Can you see me?
You are always in my mind like a command.
I just want you back in my hands...
The world can be dammed!
A long-lived life is nothing sort of the grand...
I wonder if I would be able to escape this land.
Meet with you on heaven sand's.
Oh, Leola How I missed thee.

Leola's Last Wish
The one thing that comes to my mind regarding Leola's wish is a possible explanation for why it was worded the way it was. (That's just my theory on the matter.)
Before Leola is fully taken by the darkness and erased, Aaravos holds her, assures her that he loves her, that she will go to a place filled with love, that she will always be able to feel his love for her. Leola (a child) was sad, afraid and about to be alone in the darkness. The last thing she experienced was her father's love. And based on that experience, she shapes her wish:
I wish that even in the dark
Sad Afraid Alone
that every child should know…
You Are Loved.

Callum:YOU KILLED HER FOR NOT FOLLOWING SOME STUPID ORDER WHICH RESULTED IN THE DEATH OF MULTIPLE ARCH DRAGONS, THE CREATION OF DARK MAGES, AND THE CORRUPTION OF THE MOST POWERFUL MAGICAL ARTIFACTS AND MAGICAL LANDMARKS IN ALL OF XADIA!!!!

Wholly agree with this (and love it!), just gonna add a couple things:
First, and I can't believe we're here, but: Aaravos might have just made it on the best cartoon dad list, AND JUST FROM ONE EPISODE! That's gotta be a record.
Second... I think this point could get even more sad, so sorry in advance; Leola was executed for breaking Cosmic Order, right? Because she gave magic to humans... Aaravos also gave magic to humans, and a far worse kind at that, while being a menace to any other form of Order he could find..... and was imprisoned. I'm sorry, WHAT?
And while we're mentioning it, let's look at that prison, shall we? It's a big pearl, sure. Inside it, it's a near-perfect replica of the home Aaravos and Leoa lived in before her execution. Outside, it rests among bones that could very well be LEOLA'S REMAINS, inside a body of water that Aaravos made with his tears over the span of 100 YEARS!!! And someone chose THAT as his prison, like they're trying to rub salt on the wound.
All this, on top of your point, makes me think that they, while definitely not wanting humans to have magic, were more concerned with getting rid of a child they could not understand or control, while trying to keep "one of the Great Ones" with them, and subsequently got petty when that (unsurprisingly) backfired.
The whole situation reeks of toxicity and ableism under a perfect facade.

I think everyone has realized that Leola was autistic. It was heavily implied both through the flashback images and Aaravos' narration-
She lined up her toys, flapped her hands (it was also shown in the trial scene), seemed to be sensitive towards loud sounds (like the other startouch elves when they talked), and walked on her tiptoes. All of those are classic signs of autism.
But there's one thing I haven't seen anyone else bring up, and that's that her giving her human friends magic and breaking the "cosmic order" or whatever could also be because of her neurotype!
Autistic people tend to have very strict senses of morality and fairness, and will disregard rules if they don't fit their idea of right or wrong. Personal example here, I used to constantly do things I was told not to because I thought the rules in question were bogus.
It's not hard to guess that Leola would find the rules about humans not having magic to be unfair- after all, her and all the other elves, and even the animals around them are full of it! So in the mind of an autistic child, this would be incredibly unfair. And she had the power to "fix" the situation! So why wouldn't she?
Why wouldn't she try to help her friends? Because it would break the cosmic order? That's vague as hell and she was a KID!
And the startouch elves atomized her, for breaking a rule she probably only half understood and thought was stupid. Because she was autistic.
Had this thought and wanted to share, makes the whole thing even more tragic.
Pointing out something about Leola and Aaravos cause I’ve had yet to see people talk about it.
Here before Leola’s death/Aaravos falling from the heavens you can see that the like half circle thing (idk what it’s called, I forgot) around Aaravos’ main star is pointing downwards.
However after Leola’s death/his falling from the heavens, you can see that the half circle around his main star is now pointed upwards.
Now Leola’s main star used to have it’s half circle pointing upwards just like Aaravos’ after Leola’s death/his falling from the heavens.
But when she falls to the earth/dies, her main star’s half circle is pointing downwards just like Aaravos’ before her death/his fall from the heavens. (Also I find it interesting how Aaravos is the only thing in the background that’s visible although that could just be a choice to make the scene look more interesting rather than having a deeper meaning.)
I think that the way these changes to their main stars are that they could symbolize how Leola took the kind Aaravos with her when she died and how Aaravos is how Leola lives on through him since he is the only one to remember her and he helped give humans magic like her (albeit dark magic) even going on to say that he’s doing what he does in Leola’s name.
Or maybe since Leola doesn’t seem to come from the stars but instead having been birthed (because Startouch Elves can choose their forms and I don’t think a baby is smart enough to do that), maybe she shares some of Aaravos’ stars and they returned to him when she died? (this one is a crack theory that I don’t particularly believe in but wanted to note anyways.)
