summary: you have spent your entire life following someone else’s orders. the bullet in someone else’s gun. frank castle was no knight in shining armour, and he certainly didn’t come to save you, but when your interests start to align, the line between enemy and ally get blurred. will you choose to run and leave everything you fought for behind, or will frank’s magnetic pull suck you in to a world far more complicated than you imagined?

(ok i KNOW Frank clocked that Matt was Daredevil in the courtroom, it's one of my favorite little moments from this entire immaculate series, but i made this to make my dad laugh when he first watched season 2. and it still make me chuckle. so)

this is so true! i also think it was really hard for frank to see matt like that. like his fire had gone out. he does have respect for daredevil, and seeing him so broken must have been so disconcerting.
even saying all the terrible pointed things he said, you could see how wounded frank was.
No but the way Frank didn’t want Matt to leave, thinking of sth new to say every time he turned to walk out and then looking empty af once Matt actually left??? Frank‘s so damn lonely, sitting in that dark basement surrounded by only guns, hit maps and the memories of his family. 😭
matt and frank’s relationship is so important to me. the way that they understand one another on such a deep level, but they want so badly not to.

i love the idea of the writers being like “mwahaha then the viewers will think FRANK killed Hector” and then literally not one single person watching believes it was actually frank for a single second.
we all agree that wasn’t actually frank, right? it has to be one of the cops who idolize him or something. i refuse to believe that’s actually our frank.
i have my hopes set so unreasonably high for a frank/matt team up in born again. i love their dynamic so much, i can’t wait to see them yell at each other some more 🥰
