Third wheeling.

Had prom tonight and desperately tried not to third wheel because my only friends all had dates 👍👍👍

My seatmate (let's just call her Ra) is a freaking protagonist.

And I'm not joking.

(Sorry if there any grammer errors or not making any sense, English is not my native language )

For context, Ra is not a popular girl, but also not the quiet kid. She is honestly so kind, literally an angel. Your everyday heroine.

So, one day, one of my friends said that a new student is interested in me. It was the beginning of a new year of junior high school (nine grade), and we just got a new kid.

And let me tell you, he is such a love interest material! Instantly, he became popular, he was smart and athletic. He is your average wattpad boy.

My friend say, he always looks at me when I'm not looking. BUT! Next to me is Ra, and I honestly don't believe he likes me that way. Because I've seen wayyy too many novels and movies like this to believe that crap.

And I was fucking right.

One day, our teacher give us a group project and one group must have 4 people, and he approach me to offer me and Ra to team up with him and his friend.

For the sake of simplicity, let's just call the love interest Fit and the friend Di.

So we meet up at Di house (more like our school so we can go together to Di house because his house is the nearest), and I swear to god I feel like watching some romcom.

They were bickering with each other, Fit always teased Ra, and Ra counter his tease back. I genuinely feel like a third wheel.

And that Ra trip over a rock, and Fit CATCH HER AND THEY STARE AT EACH OTHE RLIKE THEY LOST IN THEIR OWN WORLD!

LIKE AHEM! I'M STILL HERE YOU KNOW?!

And that is how Di found us, with Fit still holding Ra and me looking at them with my mouth hanging open.

Of all genre I can live with, it has to be A ROMANCE NOVEL!!!!
