Tim Stoker! Pretend that this moment is him being aware of Jane Prentiss for the first time. I mainly wanted to simplify his armor, but still leave the detail of the eyes. I will put back the red markings from the original concept but for now this is what i can provide.
The red markings is a kind of incantation to ward off the stranger creatures from taking his skin with the help from Sasha. This is used whenever Tim investigates around that area! (I should draw this actually, Tim and Sasha painting magic incantations to his armorā¦ š¤)

Hear me out, I have a headcanon in this AU that instead of being good with computers, she would be immune to leitners and she would know how to dispell a curse. That would be the reason why she was hired and assigned to the artefact storage, though she canāt remove the curse from the object but she can minimize the curseās effects or remove the curse from a living being.
Somme sketchens I did for a project that I ended up really dislikingā¦ sometimes stuff doesnāt go as planned, but thatās okay! I think most of these turned out super cute anyways so and I ended up liking the funky colors a whole lot!
Tim and Sasha deserved the world and more, and I will never stop being sad for the two of themā¦ here they are being happy and wonderful together!

I need to know, has anyone come up with a clever nickname for the jontim ship? For jonmartin we have teaholding and jmart, for daisybasira we have daisira (could use some work honestly), and with melgeorgie we have wtgfs (what the girlfriends). Just to name a few examples.

coloured the recent tim n sasha doodle
im a huge enjoyer of timsash as a ship but I feel kind of bad about it and I'm not sure why. It's far from my weirdest ship and certainly not my only noncanon one but I have this giant amount of guilt anytime I think about them as a pairing. even in the show I like ships like gerry and Michael and if anything they make even less sense. maybe its because it's explicitly stated as never going to happen by Sasha? or because I feel bad about pairing off all the characters in my mind. maybe I'm insane but just some thoughts and wondering if anyone feels similar.
thinking about the owl house and how everything i hated about it was likely a direct result of 1. it being produced by disney and B. huntlow being canon (and yes i do think canon huntlow ruined a ton of stuff. iām not exaggerating. it completely ruined hunter and willowās characters for starters by taking their pre-existing cool personalities and changing them so the ship would fit a boring unseasoned girlboss x malewife dynamic. willow shouldāve been aroace [sheād make more sense than lilith] and hunter shouldāve ended up with one of the blight twins [id have preferred edric because the show didnāt have ANY decent canon mlm ships. and no, willowās background gay dads and the implication of aladarius in the finale do NOT count. although i wouldnāt have complained if hunter had ended up with emira either] shipping is my special interest so like.. i get kinda aggressive about these things but also i think it gives me a bit of credibility on the topic. you can disagree but thatās just my opinion lol)
i remember at one point i made a list of stuff i hate about the show, and while i donāt have access to it anymore i remember that most of the stuff i listed was, in fact, very likely a result of those two factors.
like adding onto the anti huntlow thing, i think lumity also has problems for some of the same reasons huntlow does, albeit not as drastically. like itās obvious that the creators decided on the ships BEFORE writing their characterās personalities which ended up working out in lumitys favour but NOT in huntlows. cause yeah, amity changed after getting with luz but it was sorta realistic? meanwhile after getting with willow, hunter fully stops being funny and loses his charm entirely. he was my favourite character until the Huntlow Personality Retcon happened. now i genuinely canāt stand him. if i wanted to see a boring m/f girlboss x malewife ābi4biā (in quotations cause hunter never showed interest in the same gender at ANY point which leads me to believe that him being bi was an afterthought they threw in during season 3) fictional couple where the most interesting thing about it is the fact that itās a gb/mw dynamic, i would simply watch a millie x moxxie compilation on youtube. and i donāt even like helluva boss. and i think that dynamic is overplayed.
like people always say āstraight couples are boringā and they get hate for it but are they wrong??? when the majority of m/f couples in fiction are either āgender roles: the shipā or āreversed gender roles: the shipā it starts to get boring as hell. whereās the variety. like for example a straight ship i really enjoy is tim and sasha from the magnus archives, because they actually have personalities that compliment one another that arenāt just āheās a simp and sheās strong!!1!ā obviously we donāt get to learn a ton about them together, but thatās also a nice change. why do ships always have to be the main focus at the expense of a good story. and again: iām saying this as someone whose SPECIAL INTEREST IS SHIPPING.
obviously there are worse ships than huntlow. iām aware of that. but i also think iām allowed to have and express my opinions. kay? cool.
