The pain of watching Joel hold onto hope and really trying to believe that Ellie is just being a teenager and will come around hurts so much knowing what we know

I love Dina so much, and so excited to see her the rest of the season!!But I’m not sure how I felt about how current-trend coded she was. (For lack of a better term) Just for the fact that it’s supposed to be a future apocalyptic world, they’re not going to have the same lingo and stuff as what’s popular rn. Idk, how do you guys feel abt it?

I’m the 1st episode just came out but I’m already thinking abt the fact that we only have 6 more 😭😭😭 and then we have to WAIT AGAIN.

I guess some ppl don’t realize that makeup/costume is a part of acting and a major part of portraying a role. Yeah Bella looked young in S1, she was supposed too. And Ellie in the game looks young too because she is (19 in the 2nd game) and she still looks young then underneath the blood, and dirt caked on her face and clothes, which will be part of the costuming. You ‘can’t imagine Bella being menacing’? Did you not see episode 8 in S1? That there is proof she can act menacing, Bella’s a great actor no doubt about that. If you don’t like the casting so much then don’t watch it.

Plus you mentioned Abby being a ‘hulkette’ but I don’t see you complaining about Kaitlyn Dever not looking strong enough or having enough muscle compared to Abby in the game. I wonder why.

It’s telling how these kinds of people take every criticism to mean, “you just want your fuck the actor!” They completely ignore 90% of people are complaining about the casting because Bella looks like a 9 year old and they’re 5’1”…

Bella worked in the first season because, while not looking like Ellie from the game, they pulled off the “I’m a kid” phenotype and captured the spirit of Ellie. Bella can act.

The problem isn’t even Bella’s height since canon Ellie is 5’3”. The problem is that Bella, for me, can’t pull off the menacing tone because of how they look.

If Bella played some 15th century queen with the pale white face and recessed hairline, they’d be amazing for the role. Maybe some Victorian woman. They have that phenotype; like a painting. And they pulled it off when they ware meant to be 14 in s1 despite looking younger. But Bella doesn’t look 19. Bella looks 9. I can’t see them holding their own against the hulkette that is Abby.

Bella Ramsey is an amazing actor and so excited to see their acting in S2!

with the last of us season 2 coming out all I have to say is

Bella Ramsey is Ellie, if you don’t like it you don’t need to watch the show nobody’s forcing you

Okay, TLOU fans! When that scene happens in season 2 we need to defend Abby's actress at all costs!

We are not repeating history! Laura Bailey didn't deserve it and neither does Kaitlyn Dever!

They are actresses, not the character.

My gf is a Pedro and Joel lover and we’re planning on watching tlou s2 together in a few days when it comes out. She doesn’t know the game but I do, going to be thinking this meme every time I see her until ✨the scene✨ happens

So I watched TLOU S2 eps 1 to 3.

I'm not okay you guys. I didn't cry, but like...I felt sick.

For me it wasn't even the visuals (although they were brutal) it was Joel's screams when Abby shot his knee out and started beating him. I had Oberyn flashbacks I swear.

I saw an interview with Lux and she said when she saw it she threw her iPhone, cried and almost threw up. Can't blame her tbh.

I can only imagine how it must feel for her to watch Pedro die on screen. Of course she knows its fake, but that's her brother . 🥺

I need a Pedro hug.

Just watched S2 E1 and I'm already suffering. I'm not ready 😭
