Toshiba has just announced its first 4K laptop. In the U.S. this laptop with a touchscreen, OS Windows 8.1 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 on board will be called Satellite P55T.
Toshiba P55T has a 15,6-inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels (~282 ppi). All those pixels generates a quad-core processor Intel i7 and discrete graphics AMD Radeon R9 M265X 2GB DDR5. Another hook of specifications is 16GB DDR3L memory, a Blu-ray drive and 1TB mechanical hard drive 5400 RPM. Also aware of the module Wi-Fi 802.11, four USB 3.0, HDMI port and a keyboard with LED backlight. The laptop body is made of aluminum. Weight starting from 5.3 lbs. (2.5kg).
Toshiba Satellite P55T is available now with a price tag $1500, that seems ready to compete with other 4K touchscreen laptops.
