"Hold still." Xavier leaned forward and placed a chicken nugget shaped hair clip in her hair. It's very realistic, but clearly plastic. He pulls back when it's secure, clearly proud and admiring his work, as well as how cute she looks. "Cute."

Lily obediently held still when instructed, humming in confusion and watching him out of the corner of her eye.

When he pulled away, she curiously reached up to run her fingers over the clip, starting to giggle when realizing what it was. "Of course you'd find something like this...," she mused before shooting him a playful smile.

"Is this your way of telling me you want to eat me up?"

Letting out a startled squeak when her vision suddenly went back, she reached up to grab at the wrists of who was blindfolding her. Between having been at least vaguely aware of the footsteps approaching her and the familiar warmth of the arms she held, she at least knew who it was, so she didn’t start fighting just yet.

“Caleb?” she asked, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. “What’re you up to?”

Lily beams as she accepts the flowers, only to find herself getting kind of emotional as she continued listening.

"You're so sweet! I'm sorry that I haven't been around much lately, like you said, it's just been so busy... Hopefully things will settle down some soon, I miss spending time with everyone."

For Xavier and Lily!

Name: Lucas (ofc it means Light :P Though they absolutely call him their Little Star as well)

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Blue eyes with gold flecks, blonde hair like Lily’s

Personality: Smart, but can be hard to motivate, generally chill. Never resists nap time, but hates bedtime because he likes how pretty everything is at night. 

Special Talents: 

Communicating without talking

He's a very expressive child, even before he can talk, he manages it make it pretty clear exactly what he wants

Potential Powers: I feel like if he has an EVOL, then it would be similar to Xavier’s Light EVOL, if not just straight up the same EVOL. Lily won't ever admit it out loud, but she's kind of grateful that her child would have his EVOL instead of hers, because having an EVOL best suited for support definitely messed with her self esteem. 

Who they like better: Xavier, since he thinks he's the absolute coolest, and Xavier falls victim to puppy dog eyes a lot easier than Lily does. 

Who they take after more: Pretty even split? Most people think he's practically a mini-Xavier, but Lily’s influence is still definitely there, just harder to notice. He's crafty like her, and shares her habit of mimicking the people he's around / likes. That just means that, as a kid, he ends up mimicking Xavier a lot. He also gets his patience and tact from his mother as well. 

Personal Headcanon: 

He loves helping his parents in the kitchen (and 100% ‘tattles’ if Xavier ends up in the kitchen when Lily isn't looking, unless he's bribed)

Though, he also ‘tattles’ on Lily if she pushes herself too much and does chores or anything when Xavier tells her not to, so it's kept pretty fair

Despite how much he looks up to his parents, and how they're both Deepspace Hunters, he doesn't really want to be a Hunter. He wants to help people, and he loves ‘training’ (play fighting that actually teaches him useful skills too) with his dad, but if asked if he wants to be a Hunter he just kinda… shrugs

Short Bio: Lucas is honestly spoiled growing up, but of course his parents make sure he doesn't end up spoiled rotten. He's not a materialistically needy kid honestly, he just wants to be near at least one of them as much as possible.

Lillly ugh I'm so tired from my mission. I don't think I'm hydrated enough. Wait, ohmigod I forgot didn't you have a doctor appointment? How did it go? Did Xavier go with you??

Yes, yes I did have a doctor's appointment, and it went about like they always do, honestly. Xav did go with me, he tries to tag along whenever he can. I'm pretty sure he ended up asking more questions than I did, honestly!

Lily yelped in surprise at the sudden impact before turning to Rafayel, seeming almost offended for all of... two seconds.

A wide grin spread across her face as she leaned down to make a snowball of her own. "Are you sure you want to play this game~?" she asked playfully, glancing up at him from where her hands were making quick work of the snow.

[Phone call, Xavier's voice sounds urgent] "I'm in great danger I need you to come downstairs right now. Please! You're the only one that can help. In fact, the entire complex may be in danger if you don't help me stop this right now."

As soon as she registered the urgency and he mentioned 'upstairs', Lily was rushing out of her apartment, only sparing enough time to grab her guns as a precaution.

"I'm on my way!" She reassured as she hurried upthe flight of stairs between them. Her thoughts were already racing a mile a minute, wondering what could possibly be causing Xavier of all people to struggle and call for help, especially without causing much of a ruckus.

By the time she reached his door her heart was pounding and she was braced for a fight.

I wasn't snooping that much!! Didn't get a good look at him! You want me to guess????

He's not that scary! Especially off the field. He is the closest thing to a living teddy bear I have ever seen when off the clock.

"Oh, wait! Before you leave, what color do you think the jacket should b—" Not looking away from the clothing rack in front of her, she grabs the sleeve of the person nearest to her without thinking, and realizes a little too late that it felt... Different. She turns, blinking; the person she'd been talking to had left, and beside her instead was...

"Wait, you're—! Lily?! You're Lily, right?! Oh, my god, I am so sorry, I totally thought you were someone else! Gosh, and this is the first time I'm actually talking to you, too..."

Lily was more than a little startled to suddenly feel her sleeve grabbed while she was looking for a new jacket to replace her favorite one that has... been through it. It's getting a few small holes in it but she's already mended it so many times it's time to retire it.

She blinked in surprise at Kaia for a moment before she started laughing, keeping it relatively quiet for the moment so they don't draw too much attention.

"Yes, I'm Lily. You're Kaia, right?" She asked, hoping she doesn't make a fool of herself.

At Kaia's concerns about how this is the first time they're speaking, she shook her head with a smile and waved a hand dismissively. "It's alright, don't worry!" She reassured easily "Do you need help finding the person you're here with?" She offered, tilting her head slightly.

*Gives Lily a flower crown*

Lily lets out a happy gasp when accepting the flower crown, immediately putting it on. "This is so cute! Thank you so much!"

The cat looked over to them curiously at their calls, seeming to consider before trotting across the street to investigate them.

Lily waited patiently, keeping her free hand extended for the cat to sniff at and see if she passes the vibe check.

"Well we aren't being terribly loud, so we should be fine." She reassured, looking over to Xavier. "And you don't need to apologize, don't worry. You're right that I should've been more alert anyways. Even if you are the best Hunter ever, I can't let you get the drop on me that easily." She teased lightheartedly, as much as she meant it too. She really does need to be more careful... especially when she knows she's out of it.

Normally, Lily tries to be fully aware of her surroundings. Working as a Hunter means she shouldn't let her guard down, especially when by herself. Who knows what threats are just waiting for a chance to strike, after all?

Though normally, Lily doesn't have to resort to late night walks to try and clear her mind so that she can sleep.

Suddenly hearing a voice nearby startles her out of her own thoughts, immediately setting her on alert. Her head whipped around towards the source, her posture tense and ready for a fight. Once she finally recognized Xavier, she let out a slow breath that ended in a sheepish laugh.

"Xavier!" She half-greeted, half-scolded.

Once she finally processed his warning, she offered what she hoped came across as a reassuring smile. "I know, I know. But I'm a big girl, I can handle going for a little starlit walk before bed." She teased, running her fingers through her hair in an attempt to calm herself down further so her heart wasn't pounding so hard in her chest.

"What about you? You're out rather late too."

Lily beamed as she met Jeremiah partway, wrapping her arms around him and playfully doing her best to squish him with the hug. She's more than happy to give her friends hugs when they ask!

Lily blinks in confusion watching you run off after depositing the piece of fruit into her hand, head tilting ever so slightly. Shaking her head to dismiss the confusion for the moment, she examined what exactly you had given her.

"Oh, grapefruit! I haven't had this in forever!" She beamed, eating it carefully since she doesn't want to make a mess. "Nice little treat." She hummed to herself, having honestly forgotten how it tasted it's been so long since she'd allowed herself to have any. One tiny piece can't hurt, right?
