I actually haven’t read Jughead: The Hunger yet but it looks great! Ever since I saw the werewolf ep I thought the idea of turning one of the gang into a werewolf would be really interesting. And since Jughead’s my favourite character, even better! I didn’t look at the cover art for reference so this is more of my own take? Plus, I wouldn’t be able to draw anything close to how great it looks on the cover. Tried to do kind of mid transformation, but I don’t think it’s very visible.
If anyone’s wondering, the markers are kind of like cheap copics from a brand called Adlibris (like 10$ for a 12 pack). I have my doubts that they have great colours, but I really do like their grayscale markers. And they’re the only ones I’ve tried so far

Opinions on Trans Werewolves?
I'm a non-binary author, and one of the stories I'm working on has a werewolf as one of the two main characters. Inspired by a remark one of my trans friends made, I initially began writing this character as a transwoman (the idea being that they understand the need to rip off your flesh). However, while discussing my story with one of my non-binary friends, they remarked that the idea of a trans werewolf gave them the ick because it felt a little like saying that trans people are animals or not human, which is NOT what I want to covey whatsoever. Still another trans friend said they liked the idea because when they were first transitioning they only came out of the closet at night, and the idea of being a little bit feral resonated with them (trans rights or I bites).
I had initially planned to have my transfemme bestie and her polycule help me alpha read for this story so I could ensure the character was authentic, and they all really liked the idea, but now I'm stuck.
I do NOT want to accidentally send a bad message or image that I think trans people are less than. This character being a werewolf is integral to the story, so now I have to decide if I want to go through with making them trans or not.
I would really love if some trans and non-binary folks could give me their opinions on trans werewolf characters. I am genuinely looking for constructive criticism.

Adara's parents, Empress Amethyst and Emperor Redmoon!
Amethyst is the Ruler of The Planet Fiammeta, and Redmoon is a Ruler of The Planet Azreal. They are not married. Redmoon's power is black hole, and Amethyst's power is incinerator
How they met:
Emperor Redmoon was a playboy, having 15 kids, and most of them being illegitimate. They met a party celebrating the peace between the planets, and they started to interact. Redmoon used his playboy skills to woo Amethyst and them having a one night stand, causing the birth of Adara.
Adara will find out that Redmoon is her biological father later on, but Amethyst will try to keep her away from Redmoon as much as possible.
Facts: Adara is Redmoon's 8th daughter, and Redmoon is 10 years older than Amethyst.

However, neither of them trusts the other one not to harm the baby.
And this is the story how a vampire, a werewolf and a human became a family.

I’m currently working on the rough draft of a MyStreet animatic that I hope to actually finish and not give up on!! in celebration of season 7 and my obsession for this series returning. the next part I have to do is essentially a bunch of screenshot redraws from specific moments for the background of this one shot and those won’t go through a rough phase, so I figured I’d better get my personal designs of the characters down before I continue. Obviously I’m nowhere near finished even blocking out the colours/shapes of the main cast yet, but I expect this project as a whole to take a long while! I’ll update whenever I make decent progress ^^
went to a thrift store earlier today and got this super cute collar + vintage rabies vaccination tag
im not super big on wearing collars (hate the feeling of pressure against my neck, also im not domestic lol) so i'll probably use the collar as an accessory for my pants or something, and I think i'll turn the rabies tag into an earring !! 𐂯 ‧₊˚ ⏾

I had a super vivid dream last night about Wolfbloods/being a Wolfblood and it's been making me ridiculously dysphoric all day.
Honestly, the worst part isn't even my lack of non-human biology or physical traits. Yes it hurts not having my paws and my tail and not being able to shift under the full moon, don't get me wrong that causes plenty of dysphoria on its own.
But the worst part for me is knowing that if Wolfblood's were actually real they'd most likely look down on me and see me as some kind of fanatical poser, rather than one of them. Idk why it bothers me so much, they're not real so it shouldn't matter. But it really does get under my skin. I hate that I'd have no way to truly prove that I'm like them, if at the very least on the inside.
And maybe I'd feel better if I was able to study and learn more about Wolfbloods and their culture, get a sense of what it's like to actually live as one. But there's so little canonical information about what Wolfblood society is like, their history, their customs. Anything that is explicitly stated or shown in the show tends to be vague or brief, so Im just kind of left trying to piece together a puzzle that's missing most of its parts. It almost feels like Im the last of a species in a way, picking through the ruins of what others left behind. It just saddens me to know how utterly disconnected I am from where I feel like I belong and that there's nothing I can do about it. There's a scene in season 2 (i think) where a character loses her nonhuman abilities, and she longingly watches from a hillside as her pack shifts under the full moon while she's forced to remain in her human form, and every time I watch it I cant help but see myself in it on such an intense level.
Idk do any other otherkin/fictionkin ever feel like this? Does anyone have recommendations for how to cope with it, or more specifically if there's any more extensive Wolfblood lore out there somewhere?

im wild all the way no question. i crave living with my pack in the remote wilderness, hunting for our own food and making our own clothes, practicing our traditional customs, openly using canine body language and vocalizations to communicate, shifting under the full moon without having to worry about being caught by humans, all of it. if it were possible for me to live like that right now i'd do it in a heartbeat. interestingly enough i also used to be very judgmental of tame wolfbloods (even before i learned what therianthropy/otherkinity was) which is also very on paar for wild wolfbloods lmaoooo
as of right now i mostly just consider myself to be a wild wolfblood forced to live a tame lifestyle (think like s2 jana), which is fine it certainly has it's perks, but at my core im very much so wild and always have been ⏾⋅𐬹
