My Unpopular Opinions: Winx Club Edition

1. I like Bloom.

 2. Musa and Riven’s relationship is overrated.

 3. Aisha/Layla x Roy than Aisha/Layla x Nex.

 4. The Nick voice dub is actually really good.

 5. Season 5 had one of the best casual outfits.

 6. The show should have ended after The Secret of the Lost Kingdom.

 6. The show should end while it still can.

 7. Bloom didn’t really do anything wrong in the Bloom/Sky argument in season 2.

 8. Selina shouldn’t have been redeemed or at least not too quickly.

 9. Stella really annoyed me until around the second half of season 2.

 10. The Trix shouldn’t have been featured villains for almost all of the seasons.

 11. Flora’s character was dragged through the mud in season 7.

 12. Helia’s character was bad during season 6.

 13. Giving the witch’s backstories so late in the story was a bad idea.

 14. Tecna was a bit too mad at Timmy during season 2.

 15. Season 3’s finale was really bad.

I actually started Sonic Prime today and trust me when I say Rusty Rose would have scared the living shit out of me as a kid, characters turning into robots was my biggest fear (example: Tecna in Winx season 5)

I‘m trying to get into the sonic fandom (mainly cause I love sonadow), can the people in the fandom explain the lore to me, please?

THERE'S ANOTHER MUSICAL SO HERE I AM. ANALYZING WITHOUT A CLUE OF NEDERLAND. (many parts because I'm Lazy).

Ok, this was the start and I just laughed, because this is how I imagine how the Winx dealt with the quarantine and had to do missions. I just find it so funny! Like look at all of them they look so pretty, was this so hard Netflix?

Ok this moment is pure domestic fluff:

Aisha is working out doing her own thing, while Bloom is doing her own little daydreaming thing, where she imagines her own little world. Tecna fixing her watch while Flora behind her is looking at nature. And Musa is just jamming.

Just adorable, I love my girls, Stella is in a date with Brandon I think.

Here is a closer shot, Bloom doesn't have red hair but they put bangs, so we're going to accept it. Bloom again in her own little world, where Tecna is just concerned. And Flora in the back chilling with her plants and on her own. Musa is just staring trying to figure out what they're talking about.

WATCHING THE MUSICAL OF THE WINX WITHOUT KNOWING JACK SHIT OF ITALIAN. INTERPRETING WHAT IS HAPPENING. (this will have several parts because I'm lazy).

First of we got this amazing moment, where for some reason Sky was I'm taking Bloom with him, he seems a bit of a kidnapper but ok...

Next to them are Stella and Brandon, where Brandon is just casually holding Stella over his shoulder, see this In canon. No one is amused by that.

Next our poor queen Layla/Aisha wondering where the fuck are Timmy and Tecna like she's there wondering what the fuck is happening.

Riven and Musa making out, like yes this is so them and looking at the others as leave us alone.

Helia and Flora having a chat in the back about their things.

Now the general image it's just pure mess. Where are Timmy and Tecna?

Moving on.

This one is so funny to me, I just don't know where to look at. Because I see 4 different situations.

-Bloom and Sky about to make out.

-Stella just posing dramatically while Brandon is just there and Helia is in the background judging.

-Layla/Aisha and Flora considering their life choices and how did they ended up with this bunch of morons.

-Musa and Riven vibing with each other feeling their sexual tension from here, and Timmy and Tecna cuddling beside them.

There's just a lot going on...

This moment was so sweet, for what I understood they were all cursed so Musa sang a song to get them back to normal and as soon as she finished Riven went to hug her. And my heart melted.

Tecna: I need help, right now. I told Timmy I know how to cook but that's the only thing I can't do.

Stella pouring milk directly into the cereal bag: AND YOU ARE TELLING ME? You thought I could help.

Timmy: Did you just call me bitch?

Tecna: No... I did not. I would never.

Timmy:

Stella: Theres a diference.

Timmy: Stell do you have something to do with that?

Ok, so I was scroling trough pinterest. And then BOM! This appears, and in my head some questions star to appear. Like Riven was walking, and then he saw Tecna and Timmy and tought “ Hey I’m going to break them apart.” Can someone explain me what is happening. Like WTF. I’m sorry but I wanted to share my confusion with you. And why he has blue hands?

* Every time Tecna does something*

Timmy: Look at the words sexy and brillant in that computer of yours.

Tecna: Oh, look at that. It’s me.

Musa: She just passed him the peanutbutter.

Chapter one 

Advesperascit 

(N.) the approaching dark: the evening draws near

A girl with umber hair and blue eyes that have a circle of gold in then, is seen singing in a soft tone. As the water flows from the fossett, while she scrubs a dish with her sponge, she sings.

“Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings.

These are a few of my favorite things.”

Another girl can be seen entering the house. This girl has fiery red hair and the same eyes. Her makeup was messed up, and her shoes were off. But still the girl sang her song.

“Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels.

Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.

These are a few of my favorite things.”

The red head went to go upstairs ,but felt the small splash of water to her back.  Turning around the red head glares at the brunette.

“I told mom and dad that you were at the park and would be home late. They believed it thankfully. So Bloom how was the party?” The brunette questions.

“It was fine Alastaria. What are you still doing up. Mom still making you clean the whole first floor after dinner?”Bloom asks her sister. Bloom noticed  her sisters long umber hair was up in a messy ponytail. A black apron on top of her grey checkered shirt with a long black skirt.

“No I had to make muffins for moms workers. I’m cleaning the dish’s. How was Andy, and I have some leftover cake from dinner. It’s calling your name on it. It’s lemon and pistachio.” Alastaria sang to Bloom.

Rolling her eyes bloom makes her way to the counter. A cheeky smile came on Alastaria’s face, and she grabs a plate from the fridge. Alastaria lightly tosses the plate of cake to her sister.

“You know he wants to apologize, you should let him. Do they still hurt” Bloom mumbled with cake in her mouth. Subconsciously Alastaria moved to her left arm and softly grabs her arm. This was all bloom needed to know they still hurt.

“I’m gonna go to bed, you should too. After all I don’t think that you got much sleep last night.”Bloom states. A smile comes on Alastaria’s face as she drys her hands. Walking over to the staircase Bloom and Alastaria walk to there room and lay down to sleep.

“Wake up sleepy head the suns been up for ages.” The girls mom yells. “Mom five more minutes” Bloom complains. “Your late Bloom” her mother sings. Jumping up bloom yells “school!!”.  Bloom runs around trying  to get ready.

Downstairs Alastaria is pulling out a pan of muffins. She places them in a box, and ties a ribbon around it. The toaster pops up with her dads toast. She grabs it and, Bloom comes downstairs complaining how she never gets to go on holiday by herself.

“Bloom your sister never wants to go on holiday. She always cleans, cooks, bakes, and dose well in her sports. Bloom maybe when we go to the beach you can go somewhere without us okay. Also Bloom how about we show you girls something” Vanessa says.

“Ya just a little something to help you girls get around gardenia.” Mike replies to his wife. He winks at her with a smile. The two girls run out of there house thanking there parents, think they would be getting scoters. Unfortunately the girls only see a red and grey bike in there front yard.

Disappointed the girls walk over to the bikes, but tell there parents thank you. As Bloom ride to the park Alastaria stays behind to talk with her parents.

“Mom I left you orange and cranberry muffins for the flower shop employees. Dad there are some chocolate muffins and blueberries muffins for your firefighter team. Love you have a good day” Alastaria yells.

As Alastaria rides to the park she takes a bite out of a chocolate croissant she grabbed. She entered the park with a sigh Alastaria saw her sister following her rabbit into the woods of the park. Finishing her croissant she ran after Bloom.

Ending up on a different tree Alastaria looked at the sight before you. A girl with blond hair, wings and a staff! Was fighting a bunch of monsters. Suddenly Bloom yelled “Leave her alone!”.  

All at once monsters started to charge at Bloom. “No! BLOOM!” Alastaria screams. This makes some of the monsters charge at her. A burning sensation comes over Alastaria’s eyes right before they get to Close. Bloom made and energy blast while the monsters stop and whispered something at Alastaria.

The monsters around Alastaria ran back to the ogre. Yelling something in there tough, the ogre looked shock at what the monster were saying. The ogre picked up bloom, and Alastaria runs to the blonde.

“Let my sister go!” Alastaria screams. The ogre looks at Alastaria and whispers to low for anyone to hear. But before he puts bloom down bloom blasts him and a dragon silhouette comes out of the orange blast.

Bloom lands on the ground infront of  the blonde and Alastaria. “Wow powerful” the blonde states. The blonde stood up and grabbed her staff and went up to bloom. She asked “You okay? And you are you okay?” Bloom and Alastaria just nod there heads.

“I have my scepter back now you don’t scare me any more” the blonde told the ogre. The blonde blast him and the other monsters attack , while Bloom and Alastaria stare at her in awe. Two monsters go over to the sisters, and rip a piece of there clothes. With the monster running over to the ogre they retreated.

As the blonde says something to Bloom, Alastaria realizes that she understood what the monster said. The monster said “Her Highness is Here” over and over. Alastaria wondered how she knew what they were saying.

Hearing a thud to her left Alastaria looks over, and sees the blonde is unconscious on the ground. Standing up Alastaria runs over to the blonde and shakes her. “Bloom what happed?” Alastaria questions. “She just collapsed!” Bloom explains.

“We need to get her home. Can you take her on your bike?” Bloom asks. Nodding her head Alastaria picked up the blonde. “We’re lucky that I workout and do martial arts. Or we wouldn’t have been able to get her home.”Alastaria teased.

In another dimension the ogre walk to the middle of three people. “So you failed” one of the witches said. “Not my fault highness. I had the scepter in my hands, but then theses  earthling girls appears and messes everything up.”The ogre explains. “Earthling girls” another witch questions. This witch was very confused on how a earthlIng girl  cause problems.

“Oh but they weren’t any ordinary earthlings, ones got powers she pushed back my gouhls just like that. The other well she was different .” “Interesting describe this them.” the first witch said. “Your glasses were are they!” the third witch yelled.

“Right here highness” the ogre stuttered. Pulling out a pair a glasses he put them on. “Quite theses girl could mean something to us!” The second witch screams. “Don’t worry highness two of my gouls  grabbed this. It’s pieces of there clothes. To us this is nothing but to a hunting troll, it’s an important clue” ogre states.

A blue hunting troll came from the side and  garbs the clothes. After smelling the blue pant piece, the troll smells the black skirt fabric. Only to drop it and yell in his tongue “Highness her highness”.

“Her highness” the first witch sneered. “What do you mean Her highness. Her Highness isn’t supposed to come of another 2,000 years. Plus if Her Highness was alive she would have taken back her kingdom. She would have destroyed Lord Azazel!” she screamed.

“Now mow sister calm down. If Her Highness is truly alive she make be of great help to us. Knut bring us the girls” the second witch explains calmly.

“And don’t let us down!” all three witches yelled.

As Bloom and there Dad argue Alastaria sits at the blonde girls side. “No no please don’t tell anyone”the blonde says sleepily. “She coming too. How do you feel?” The girls mother asked. The blonde made a sound of confusion. “I’m alright thanks for helping me out” the says.

Taking all the credit Bloom blushes. “Oh it was nothing” Bloom gushes. Sad look comes on Alastaria’s face, as she thinks that the blonde didn’t care that she helped to. “My names Stella, and where is the other girl who helped me” Stella asked. A look of annoyance came on Blooms face as she points to where Alastaria is sitting.

Alastaria just waves at Stella with a smile on her face. “Hello Stella my names Alastaria, and the other girls name is Bloom. She’s my sister. Are you okay? Are you hungry or, do you need some water?” Alastaria questions.

“Should we call your parents dear?” Vanessa asks Stella. Stella just sits up and smiles. “That would be difficult they live in a place a bit far from here. Have you heard of Solaria it’s a kingdom far far away. I’m a fairy you know. I was trying to get to Alfea in the realm of magix” but Stella is cut off by Mike.

“Oh but course I’m calling the police. It doesn’t take a genius to realize this girl is seriously out of her mind!” Mike yells. As he is about to phone the police Stella (who looks very mad) points her finger at the phone. The phone changes into a carrot and a cabbage.

“She not crazy Dad! Look at her clothes! What normals person wears clothes like that! And look at her  hair there is literally a crown thing in it” Alastaria objects.

“Alright you believe me now?”Stella smugly asks. A smirk comes on Alastaria’s face as she looks at Stella. Bloom defense Stella saying “yeah I saw her and I believe her.” Stella  begins to explain that those creatures attacked her, and how she was forced to land here.

“Your daughters saved my life. Bloom pushed back the ghouls with an energy shield. And Alastaria well I don’t know what she did but, the ghouls ran away from her screaming. As if they were scared” Stella cheered.

A smug smiles comes on Blooms lips as she looks at her sister. “Actually I don’t know how I did it.” Bloom sneers. Alastaria just thinks about how the ghouls ran away from her. How they seemed scared. “I don’t think I did anything either. I just looked at them.” Alastaria states. Bloom scoffs at her sister, annoyed as to why Alastaria was trying to make it seem like she had done anything. Bloom believed that she was the one that help Stell not Alastaria.

“A fairy doesn’t need to know how she just does it that’s all” Stella explains. Beaming Bloom gushes “I’m a a Fairy.” Smiling Stella nods her head. “Of course you are don’t tell me your not. Have you registered for the new program at Alfea Castle? It’s the best School for young fairies like you and me” Stella declared.

“If Blooms a fairy what am I?” Alastaria questions. Bloom glares at Alastaria, furious that her sister changed the topic. “Alastaria don’t be rude! Just because I’m special doesn’t mean that you have to be” Bloom states. Alastaria looks down in sadness. “Girls go to your room I need to talk with your Mother!” Mike yells. Mike glares at his wife for not doing anything about what Bloom said to Alastaria. The girls walk to the sisters shared room not noticing the gouhls watching there everyone.

tecna lacks so much appreciation she is a QUEEN.

the thing about characters like tecna is that people will often think they are strictly one-dimensional and lack nuance. that they only breathe complex facts and figures. that they are only funny when they are not trying to be funny. but tecna turns that notion on its head by being so emotional and so accepting of her emotional landscape once she reconciles her inner conflicts, and at times, by not being very rational. while tecna can be awkward at times and miss a social cue or two, she can also be intentionally hilarious and sharp through her spirited and bold remarks; do not forget the way she sassed riven in the minotaur episode or the way she cleverly had the last word with the beta girls. point is, please do not pigeonhole tecna into a predefined box or a particular stereotype. she deserves so much more than that.

I LOVE Winx Club i grew up w it my entire childhood but when i saw the fate series it was so bland and just wasnt it so im doing fancasts ;) i'll do more (specialists, villians, extras), and yes i did make up surnames for the winx.

Nonsense Theory Time

I always thought that Bloom's wings in her magic winx form looked like butterfly wings. It might be a bit of a stretch, but that's what I've always interpreted them to be.

Right before she gets her fairy form she (and the rest of the winx) perform a spell that restores the butterflies to those weird eggs that the specialists thought was a good gift idea.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the actions and spells of a fairy before they unlock their fairy form determines what it is going to look like. The Magic winx form isn't predetermined. The fairy's actions shape them.

Going deeper here you could think more about the other girl's magic winx forms. Maybe Flora primarily worked with spells relating to flowers, which is why her magic winx form is primarily flower themed even though she is the fairy of nature as a whole. Maybe Stella used some spells that had to do with the number three or she saved three of something and that is why her wings are in three segments. Tecna saved someone from a hang gliding accident I have nothing for the other girls.

Bohdan is a boy. Yes. But we really need some more male fairies, so why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

He has the power of fire, and even though he and Vilda (oc) grew up on Earth, they were still born on different planets. It was probably Domino because: Bloom, fire, no parents, yada yada.

If we talk about the original Winx. I think they will meet, and the Winx will be for them as guides in this magical universe and friends more experienced in this. Like, they're definitely bad teachers (as of season 4, episode 1), but remember Roxy and her interaction with the Winx. She will also take a big role in this because Rainbow shouldn't be throwing a bolt🔩 at her after being part of the main characters team.

They would also be 3-4 years apart because after s4 (s5 is mostly bad, it needs to be rewritten with Aisha starring 👉 Unicorn of War) they are 19-20.

And Sophix and Lovix will be here more. They deserve MUCH MUCH more screen time.

About his behavior. He would act more like Roxy. Annoyed, not believing in it, but eventually accepting the facts. I think he will be friends with Aisha first. They have more in common and she will be the first to have a deep conversation with him (due to the non-existent episode with the accident where they were left in a cave alone with a villain somewhere nearby. A little teamwork, yada yada) And he will accept be learned by Winx, at Bloom's suggestion.

He will be on good terms with Flora. She is innocent in his eyes. He has a bit of a crush on her, but gets over it when he meets her boyfriend. He has never had pets, so Flora gives him advice and helps him take care of the cute animals. He also helped her with carrying and sometimes watering her flowers when she was on a mission.

He's on par with Tecna. They can talk about technology. He explains about human ones, she - about Zenits. There are many conversations about the Internet, and warm ones about some "dumbs", slangs, memes. And sites with Vil help her understand her emotions more. He's fine with her in his room, when Musa gets too loud with the music and she asks him to work here. She's quiet for the most part, so there's no problem for him.

Musa and Bohdan do not have much in common. But still. They show their favorite music. They came together on a few songs, mostly because they have different tastes. He accidentally overhears her phone conversation with Reven. And when they meet with other specialists and the couple argue, they talk. She didn't exactly agree with him about Riven's toxic behavior, but the conversation stayed in her memory for future reference. They may also disagree on missions. They are going to work together because of the force of the situation, at the end of the day they teem work becomes better. After that, she gets him new headphones, so they have silent reconciliation. They work well in combat.

Stella is a bit annoying in the beginning. Something he could agree with the Musa. He thinks she's too into clothes and fashion, but by mid-season he gets used to it. They are more like sibling fights than anything too serious. She took him up on it when he was "forced" to hold some of her fabric with Bloom and a slightly annoyed Muse as they made their way out. She can't find a good outfit (for the concert). He recommends some clothes to her and she thinks they are beautiful. She starts asking his opinion more and he casually says he wants to try on one of her outfits. She is surprised and funny, but with conversations, she is funny, but also good with it. It's really cool for her to have a boy friend who has taste and likes to wear skirts (rarely, but still). They are getting closer. He listens more to her talk about fashion and helps out when she and Brandon have a fight. She compliments his transformation form. Kind of reminds her of her transformation base.

Aisha. He definitely thinks she's cool. They both play sports. She helps him more with the gymnastic part, and he helps with the hitting. (He goes to the boxing section) They agree on parts of the activity and get along well. The dance, of course, is not for him, but he tries. Sometimes they watch some exercise videos with recommendations and go to the gym, but after a "villainous accident" they end up doing well at home and sometimes outside. He likes her magic training parts the most. After he finds out about Naby, he helps her when Stella tried to send her off with another boy.

Bloom. Oh Bloom. Ehh... I'm not sure, but I'll try. In the beginning, he did not go with her. As with others. He is in disbelief. Because she tries the hardest to talk about it, he distrusts her the most. Intuitively. He still feels freaked out after that and doesn't fully trust her. It fades when he sees her helping people and fighting alongside her friends, it reminds him of his own friendship. She explains to them all(ocs) that she has been in their situation and it helps to trust. He doesn't always agree with her choices, but sometimes he or she agrees that they're wrong in the end.

He finds it funny and strange that they don't transform instantly, as if waiting for disaster. Like, a villain could take advantage of that. Transforming immediately is much easier. Bloom agreed a little embarrassed. This is not the first time someone has pointed this out. She helps him calm down when he gets freaked out after his first transformation. They are both Dragon Fire users. This makes learning with her easier to understand. But magic still works differently for them, so more comes with practice. He's a little jealous of that dragon thing.

Roxy helps him overcome this "magic thing". He expects something along the lines of "it's true, you have to believe it", but when she talks about her first interaction with a Winx, he's surprised. She shows him her powers. He doesn't fully believed in it and sees them more as a very well-trained trick. But after that you know what's happening. The "Cave" situation. There he believed and accepts it completely. But Roxy was the one who made it clear because she was in that situation. She can relate. She helps them all get over it and helps the Winx understand how to interact with others.

Roxy patient in this. She also sometimes tells parts of the s4 story. Helps get over it. Understanding, that you are fairy. She and others surprised that there's four non Morgana's fairies, and the fact that one of them is male (mostly Roxy, i think others should have seen male fairy before.. maybe. (Winx know, that he's having magic, but thought he would be wizard, not fairy). Maybe Stella would be surprised in a good way and talking about this at the start) She explained about many things, met them with pets and her dad, and job.

They ask each other for advice and training. Not much talk about parents/grandparents, just over time, but no spoilers.

By the way, the Winx live in a two-floor house.

Aaand, I think that's it for now. Wow. I had no idea (how) to write their interaction, but damn. This is not so bad for very small information.

So when Netflix released fate: wins saga I watched two episodes before quitting in sorrow due to lack of Tecna. Aka my favorite winx character of all time. I don’t remember why exactly but about 2 years ago I was reminded of fate and decided to make a tecna re-design and now two years later I redid my design and here’s the difference!
