Writing Prompt: Dialogue

“God, it’s gorgeous out here.” “Won’t be so gorgeous if you fall forty feet and slam into the pavement.”

“Nothing you could do. The sooner you accept that, the better off you’ll be.”

“You can’t imagine my happiness at the fact you lost.”

“All this arguing isn’t getting us anywhere.”

“Yes, let’s go explore a dark place late at night where there’s been rumors of monsters. What better way to spend my time?”

“I’m glad that you trust me so much, but I have no idea what I’m doing.”

“Make way for the glorious me! I’m here to spice up your miserable lives.”

“I am disappointed that…you know what disappointed doesn’t even begin to cut it. I am heartbroken by what you’ve chosen to do.”

“I know. But you did anyway.”

“Don’t listen to them, please. Try and shut them out. They’re not real, this isn’t real.”
