There's something endearing knowing that kimcom could never actually see kim dokjas face, it was blurred to a point and yet they love him so much. their centre point was him, he was the glue that held not only their group and each one of them together, during a horrific apocalypse that ruined millions to billions of lives, in a world filled with so many, they found salvation in him. because he was irreplaceable, he was stupid, he was a squid, and he was insane but he was kim dokja. he was a reader, he was their savior and they love him. they do not know how he looks like and yet they see him everywhere. A shot of Kim Dokja from the back. He is standing on a path made out of screens-tiles, each depicting a scene. Further aways, disappearing in the dark, are two female silhouettes, possibly Lee Sookyung and Han Sooyoung back on Earth.

"Worse than a proper one"
Two bright white parallel lines - two bridges extend into the dark, never getting close. Kim Dokja stands close to the lower edge of the art, watching someone standing on the other path far away, also wearing a white coat.

The text sits in the screen of Kim Dokja's phone held by his crumbling hands.

"Accustomed to seeing"

"But not participating"
A shot from inside the train carrier. Hands claw at the closed doors, leaving bloody traces on the glass. It's Kim Dokja's crumbling hands. Behind the glass there is a night sky.

"Maybe that is why"
Kim Dokja is sitting on a train seat with his legs, looking to the right. He is wearing his stark wjite coat, and looks empty. He is surrounded by an empty void, all alone in the space he is in.

"Their expressions are hard to pin down"
A mirror image of the previous one, but this Kim Dokja is looking at his companions, who surround him. They all sit on grass, with a darkening sky above them. Still, all the faces of Kim Dokja's companions are hidden as if drawn over with a pen.

"If i never experience that strong of a feeling"
Kim Dokja at the end of the 1863 arc, from the back, hunched down with his black wings framing his back. His horns are crumbling, and so does the black star of a constellation above his head.

"How can i put it on a page?"
A mirror image of Kim Dokja from the first page - but now it's Han Sooyoung looking down on Kim Dokja with her face hidden under a heavy shadow, her expression impossible to pin down. She is wearing a bright white coat.

"A story written by someone that inadequate"
A page almost fully black. In the upper left corner, there is barely visible figure of young Han Sooyoung in front of a computer screen, typing. On her chair there's barely visible hand of the Dokkaebi king. Only whatever is bathed in the light of the screen is visible.

"Surely it's not a read you would approve of"
A similarly almost completely black page. In contrats with the text, a happy Kim Dokja, visible in the light of his phone, sits in a hospital bed. An IV drip is visible next to him, with the bags going from seemingly normal one to Story fluid the higher they sit.
Full text says:
"I suppose, in a sense... I'm also a writer, worse than a proper one, with my hands accustomed to turning pages, not filling them. My heart, as well, accustomed to seeing, but not participating. In a coffin lays Kim Dokja in his stark white coat. A text bubble is covering his face completely. It's a call to him - it says "Kim Dokja."
Next frame is Yoo Joonghyuk looking down at him, with his face, too, hidden behind the text. Above his is the heavy, dark sky.
"Han Sooyoung told me to stop paying for midday tryst."

Presumably a flashback to the conversation - Yoo Joonghyuk standing in front of Han Sooyoung, who is sitting with her feet on the chair, a laptop with an open word document on her lap. She is pointing at him with a lollipop in accusatory manner.
Yoo Joonghyuk is quoting Han Sooyoung here: "Use a notepad. Like the reast of us". Her words, again, cover both of their faces.
Next frame is Han Sooyoung showing off a tattered notepad with first page filled up with someone's writing.
"For someone you kept around she is surprisingly clueless."
"Her notepad was full of your notes. Was it even hers to begin with?"

Yoo Joonghyuk's hand is reaching towards the notepad, but Han Sooyoung retracts her hand.
"She didn't let me check."
Han Sooyoung is shown holding the notepad gently, carefully. Text bubbles cover her expression completely.
"I saw its well-loved pages."
"She wouldn't care that much if it was hers."

Both Han Sooyoung and Yoo Joonghyuk are standing in front of a giant portrait of Kim Dokja in an ornate frame. Han Sooyoung is watching it, while Yoo Joonghyuk is watching her.
The text bubble covers Kim Dokja's eyes, but not his serene smile.
"I think..."
"She also can't let go."

$First frame is Yoo Joonghyuk's profile showing his tired, weary eyes. The speech bubble covers his mouth, and it's the first read one: "She'd say". Accompanying it is a shot of Han Sooyoung and Yoo Joonghyuk laying on the ground with Kim Dokja's shadow being cast in the empty space between them. At the edges of the frame there are cropped out heads, seemingly belonging to other versions of Han Sooyoung and Yoo Joonghyuk.
Next frame is a shot of a wall with many photographs of Kim Dokja's companions pinned to it. Kim Dokja's hands are pinning Yoo Joonghyuk's and Han Sooyoung's photos. Between all the photos there are white threads, connecting them all, making the composition look like a chaotic spiderweb.
"It did shape our connection."
"Your absence, i mean."

It is revealed that above that composition made out of kimcom's photos there is a picture of Kim Dokja. All the white thread lead up to it, covering his face in the process, but at the same time they are interrupted by the text bubble, and it is a read one:
"After all, we share an object of mourning."

Two vertical frames, both featuring Kim Dokja mirroring himself. On the left it's Kim Dokja with a hidden face standing under starry sky. His shadow is appearing as a dotted line - or a line of train carriages.
On the right is Kim Dokja's vague shape reflecting in a glass window of a bookshop, noticed by Yoo Joonghyuk, who is surrounded by other members of kimcom, including Mia. That Kim Dokja is smiling.

"I think i can't pay the interest. It's far too high."

A closer shot of Yoo Joonghyuk. He is looking up with hands locked in a gesture of a prayer. His face is as desperate and hollow as on the previous page. The text bubble hide Yoo Joonghyuk's mouth.

"Creating for others".
It's Han Sooyoung from 1863rd turn. She is on the roof, in her white coat and white cap. Her face - a mask of tragedy. A single white star is shining down on her.

"Or maybe creating for a single reader".
The words are bleeding ink. They are put down by Han Sooyoung's hand on a parchment, old looking wall in the background hinting at this Han Sooyoung being from Kaizenix. The window in the background shows a single star bleeding into the bottle of ink on Han Sooyoung's table.

"Who may or may not come".
Han Sooyoung's lonely, narrow back is the main focus. She is sitting at her table, half covered by a warm cape, watching the window longingly.

"For both you and him".
A side shot of Kaizenix Han Sooyoung with her head hanging low over her table. Her hair hide her face completely. She is curling onto herself, as if soothing herself. A wall of white pages overlapping like papier-mâché, hiding behind them a silhouette of Kim Dokja made out of dotted out text. He is smiling. Han Sooyoung's hands grasp at the pages, peeling them off.

"Your art has any impact at all".
Someone wearing a white coat is on their knees in front of yet another white coat hanging. Black handprints all over the lower half of the coat paint it into a black coat. The person in front of it is clutching at the coat in desperation.

"Your days of villainy end here," Wonder Woman declares, leveling her sword at Phantom.

She's heard from the locals that, while Phantom favors the form of a young boy, he is far older than even she. There are records going back centuries of his existence.

Phantom, however, looks confused.

"Villain....? Oh! Okay, you want to fight Dan! Yeah, lemme just go call him real quick."

"...Who?" Wonder Woman asks, now sharing the confusion.

But Phantom already has a phone out and is calling someone, promising that it won't be but a moment.

"Hey, so...yeah, I know you don't wanna talk to me but...no but someone wants to fight you...gimme a second to specify and I'll....Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman wants to 1v1 you."

Phantom holds the phone away from his ear as what can only be described as a triumphant war cry almost breaks the speaker.

Then it's just a dial tone.

Phantom smiles at her.

"Okay, he'll be here in like, four-"

"Fight me!" Another ghosts interrupts, landing in front of Phantom.

He's huge; bigger than Superman, with fire-like white hair and excited red eyes.

He looks very, very ecstatic for the opportunity to fight her.

And, well...Diana does love a good fight.

Very well!

She will fight this 'Dan' instead!

The people of Fawcett know that behind the mask of Captain Marvel is a homeless kid with trust issues. Billy knows that they know. And now he and the town have this whole "I don't know Captain Marvel is a homeless kid" thing going on whenever any hero comes to Fawcett for any reason.

Flash: Dude, your town is so cool!

Marvel: Thanks. The townspeople and I are trying to make the town look more presentable.

Mrs. Wortwood: Captain, we're having a family dinner tonight. My daughter really wants to see you.

Marvel: Thanks for the offers. I'll definitely be there.

Flash: I wish I could be invited to family dinners by my townspeople, too.

Mr. Chuck: Captain, it's nice to see you at this hour.

Marvel: Evil never sleeps, at least not in Gotham.

Mr. Chuck: I see, visitors in town. I'll say hello when I see them.

Marvel: Thank you, Mr. Chuck, it was nice talking to you.

Batman: Marvel, what's a regular old man doing on the roof of a building at one in the morning?

Marvel: I don't know. He's a regular chimney sweep.

Hal: Why is that woman looking at me so weird?

Miss Bambi, who saw Green Lantern playfully slap Captain on the butt: *quietly drinks tea*

Kids on the playground: Captain! We're missing a player!

Marvel: Sorry, on a mission.

Kids: Okay! Good luck!

Superman: Everyone's so sweet with you.

So yeah, they're pretty good actors. The only thing Billy doesn't know is that the townspeople have a plan for revenge if the League finds out Captain Marvel is a kid and kicks him out. They even have a kryptonite pitchfork! And plenty of fire starters. It's also worth mentioning that the magical creatures have joined in on the plan. The fairies are giggling and collecting or stealing kryptonite, giving Batman a run for his money, which makes him paranoid that someone is buying or stealing kryptonite in huge quantities. There's clearly some kind of conspiracy brewing.

The League has no idea what kind of bomb they'll detonate if they kick Captain Marvel out of the League.
