Humans dealing with angiosperms are so weird man. Like we decorate our clothes with dead/fake corpses seasonally, spray on insect aphrodisiac to be attractive ourselves (which btw is the smell of plant vagina), and eat detached pregnant wombs to prevent a primal decency in the body (scurvy). Like wtf why did evolution do that

1. Drawing/painting in any way

2. Reading stories online

3. Fall and breathing cold air (really puts you back into your body)

4. Writing and making music

5. My new plants that I'm trying to keep alive

My latest comic for The Nib was written by my friend Mike Thompson- it’s his first published comics work! 

The Nib has been a steady source of income and a huge support to me and many other indie cartoonists for years. They publish amazing work, but will be cut loose by their financial backer in July. You can read the official post about it from editor Matt Bors here.  They are still running their kickstarter-funded print magazine, but have to put digital publishing on hiatus until they figure out their next steps. If you’ve been thinking about supporting their membership program, now would be a good time. They have levels from $2 to $40 per month. I really don’t want this to be my last Nib piece!

Reading this made me think of someone scratching like a screen door or anything that makes that weird high-pitched noise (you know what I'm talking about) and I physically shivered and curled up at the thought alone icky icky icky gross

i feel like everyone w adhd has at least one specific sensory experience that just straight up makes them emotionally cringe and have like... a sensory afterimage. like when i scratch holographic cards the wrong way i can feel it in my fingers for the next 20 minutes and bros that shit SUCKS who gave holographic cards the right to be that outright AWFUL....

Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.

It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.
