šŸ’—šŸ°BECOMING SELFISH IS THE BEST THING I DIDšŸ’—šŸ°

This post is my notes of thewizardliz video of the same topic as this post . I always tend to lose the notes I make šŸ˜‘, so I thought that I should make a post on this ( lol )

šŸ’—STOP ARGUING WITH PEOPLE WHO AREN'T WILLING TO LISTEN

If the boundaries were crossed, the conversation is over . They aren't worth your time or energy.

šŸ°START PRIORITIZING YOUR OWN NEEDS & WANTS

" Whatever I want , goes first ". Fill your own cup first, Are you whole ? Are you okay ?

šŸ’—STOP BEING ALWAYS AVAILABLE & TRYING TO SAVE EVERYONE

You cannot save everyone. To be honest , you cannot same anyone . If a person does not want to change , if a person doesn't want to be saved, you will not save anyone & just end up losing your energy.

šŸ°SOMETIMES YOU HELPING IS ACTUALLY SABOTAGING GOD'S PLAN

People get certain problems / situations in their life because God gives them , it's for them to go through. So they can become wiser & fulfill their life purpose. If someone is stepping in & trying to be their savior , they are sabotaging God's plan & blocking their own blessings.

šŸ’—START BEING OKAY WITH PEOPLE MISUNDERSTANDING YOU

They don't have to understand you. It's very reasonable they don't understand you , people have come from different countries , culture, environment. They don't have the same mindset or heart as you. You cannot make them understand you because they aren't you. If you constantly go through life thinking everybody has the same heart as you , you will be hurt . People are different. Let them be.

šŸ°REALISE THAT YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE YOURSELF

Humans love comfort. In order to change, it requires alot of courage , strength & discomfort. If you are constantly putting your energy trying to change people , to become their best version. You are wasting your energy that you can use to become your best version. Lead by example .

šŸ’—STOP NEEDING PEOPLE TO VALIDATE YOUR SELF WORTH

You don't need anyone to tell you how good , smart or beautiful you are , if you already see those qualities in yourself. If you only feel that you are a good person when someone else tells you that you are a good person, if you need validation from other people , then you are just a slave of other people because their opinion can change your reality. When you are the one who always creates their own reality. You have to be strong in your own self , tell yourself how amazing you are.

šŸ°TALK TO YOURSELF , TAKE YOURSELF ON A DATE , HUG YOURSELF , COMPLIMENT YOURSELF

Say in the mirror how amazing you are to yourself.

šŸ’—LESS CHASING MORE ATTRACTING

Tune in with your feminine energy . Be relaxed, just do what is good for you & your body. Become open to receiving to your blessings & manifestations. If you aren't desperately chasing after things , then you are really whole.

šŸ°ONLY ADDING GREAT PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE

Allow people who add value in your life. Do they make you happy ? Is it a both way thing ?.

šŸ’—STOP SEEKING PEOPLE'S PERMISSION TO DO WHAT YOU WANT.

You don't need anyone's permission to do what is good for yourself. You know yourself well enough. " I know I can do it & I will do it " . Others opinions should be irrelevant to you , how cocky people can be to think that they know you better than you know yourself. They haven't gone through anything you have gone through. They haven't lived your life so who are they to decide what is good for you ? " Mmmm..none of your buisness ,goodbye "

How to Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed with Yourself

How To Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed With Yourself
How To Stop Comparing Yourself & Become Obsessed With Yourself

Okay, let’s get real. If you’re constantly comparing yourself to others, it’s time to break the habit and start focusing on what you want. The key to unlocking your most confident, successful self isn’t about envying others—it’s about using that energy to obsess over your own growth. Ready to start living your best life? Here’s how to ditch the comparison game and become your own biggest fan.

1. Jealousy = Desire. Turn it into your power move. First of all, jealousy isn’t the problem—it’s how you use it that counts. When you feel envious of someone, it’s actually a sign that they have something you want. Instead of spiraling, turn that jealousy into motivation. Want their style? Their career? Their glow-up? That’s your cue to start making it happen for yourself.

Action Steps:

Identify what’s sparking the jealousy. Is it their confidence, career, or lifestyle?

Take a mental note of exactly what you want from their vibe.

Now, turn that feeling into goals. Make a list of what you want and how you’re going to get there. Start working on those goals today, and you’ll be on the path to achieving your desires—without the comparison game.

2. Make self-love your obsession. Self-love isn’t just a trend—it’s the foundation of every confident, successful ā€œit girlā€ vibe. Your routine should be all about you, honey. Create a daily self-love habit that fills you with positive energy and makes you feel like the queen you are.

Action Steps:

Morning Rituals: Begin your day by setting the tone. Whether it’s writing down affirmations, sipping on lemon water, or practicing some deep breaths—give yourself a good start.

Mental Health TLC: Meditate or journal for 10 minutes each day. Focus on gratitude and remind yourself of your worth.

Body Love: Treat your body like the temple it is. Get moving (dance party, anyone?), drink water, and invest in that skincare routine. A face mask or a bubble bath at the end of the day? Absolutely.

3. Turn Your Energy Into Your Personal Brand. You’re not just a person—you’re a brand. And, like every successful brand, your vibe needs to be on point. Start channeling that energy into building a personal identity that screams confidence, ambition, and success. When you start focusing on what makes you unique, comparison will feel like a thing of the past.

Action Steps:

Define Your Brand: Write down what you want to be known for. What makes you stand out? Is it your chic style? Your brilliant ideas? Your hustle?

Create Consistent Content: Whether it’s posting on social or just being yourself IRL, curate your energy and your image. Share your passions, your story, and your journey.

Presence is Everything: Dress in a way that makes you feel like a million bucks. Stand tall, speak with conviction, and show the world that you own your space.

4. Quiet Confidence is the New Loud. The loudest person in the room doesn’t always win—quiet confidence is what draws people in. Be secure in who you are, and let your presence speak for itself. The best ā€œit girlsā€ don’t need to shout—they simply are.

Action Steps:

Set Boundaries: Protect your energy. Say no to things and people that don’t serve you.

Lead by Example: Be the girl who stays true to her goals without seeking validation. The more you trust yourself, the more others will follow your lead.

Master Your Craft: Whether it’s learning a new skill or becoming the best at what you do, focus on growth without the need for applause. When you shine quietly, it’s magnetic.

Being obsessed with yourself isn’t vanity—it’s self-respect. Prioritize your growth, and watch how the universe responds to that magnetic energy. You’re not just an ā€œit girlā€ā€”you’re the girl.

April Challenge: Self Boundary Setting

April Challenge: Self Boundary Setting
April Challenge: Self Boundary Setting
April Challenge: Self Boundary Setting

I can't believe it's April already! So for this month I'm going to work on making my life more structured, mostly because I've been so relaxed with myself this past month. I read The Secret History, became obsessed, and started backsliding into really unhelpful behaviour patterns (and of course my therapist is on holiday, so I can't talk about it with her). I've given myself March to wallow in it, but now it's time to be a big kid and get over myself.

1. Bedtime

For the past few months, I've been going to sleep literally whenever, but my wake up times have been chaotic. In an attempt to wrangle that into some semblance of consistency, I will be making my bedtime midnight. No exceptions. I've also done this thing a lot where I lie down, thinking I'd get ready for bed later, and then immediately fall asleep. No more of that. I'm going to avoid this by not allowing myself to lie down until after I'm ready for bed.

2. Intuitive eating

One of the bigger things that bothered me last month was that, somehow, reading that book triggered my disordered eating patterns. This month I'm going to have to set more goals with eating enough, even though I'm in that frustrating part of the cycle where I don't really want to. So here's the plan: I'm going to make a weekly meal plan focussing on getting enough protein and fibre, and then I'll do it, because I told myself I would.

3. Self study

I've got a pretty tough thing going on, what with trying to learn 3 languages and an instrument while studying. Giving enough time to each thing so I can actually progress means I'll have to be focussed for at least 1 hr 45 min a day, not including the two hours every other day I've set aside for my actual uni work. Maybe I'll try a rotation of languages instead (that will cut the self study time down to 45 min), especially when my assignments are closer to due. I'm not sure. Anyway, I'll try the first option to start with.

4. Exercise

I've been in an energy crash all of March, so I haven't exercised this whole time. I need to get back into it now. I've wanted to take fencing classes since I was 14, but was always too sick to... until now. So to accommodate for the fact that the class is 2 hours long, I'll bookend it with rest days, and the rest of the week do half an hour of whatever I feel like. Until the next semester of the fencing class starts (when I'll join), I'll replace it with stretches designed to help with fencing.

Things To Do Before 2025šŸŖ©šŸ¦¢šŸ¾

Things To Do Before 2025šŸŖ©šŸ¦¢šŸ¾

Hey cutiesss!! Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season! Here are a few things to do in the weekend before the new year to level up and start 2025 on the right foot!

Vision board

Digital or physical spend some time placing pictures from Pinterest that you want to represent your year of progress.

Deep clean your space

Starting fresh and clean with new organization and systems.

Go through your closet

Get rid of anything that doesn’t fit you or doesn’t suit your style.

Set up your planner and calendar

Make sure all important dates are on there and that you have a full calendar of fun activities come January.

Clear out your emails

Go through and make sure you have all your work done for 2024 and that you don’t take any into the new year.

Clear out your social media

Go through who you follow and unfollow anyone that no longer serves you in a positive light. Don’t follow anyone that makes you feel bad about anything.

Write goals

Write out attainable goals for the new year and the steps you must take to reach them.

Write out your habits and how you want them to change

I do this by going through my day and writing down my routine also by looking at my screen time to see what I do and when. Then I can understand how I spend my time and how I can use it more efficiently. Also adding habits that will help you reach your goals is the best way to achieve them.

Hope this helps! I hope you guys have a very very happy new year!

The Glow-Up Is a Lifestyle: 10 Ways to Elevate Your Everyday

by Soleau Club

The Glow-Up Is A Lifestyle: 10 Ways To Elevate Your Everyday
The Glow-Up Is A Lifestyle: 10 Ways To Elevate Your Everyday

If you're still thinking of a glow-up as a one-time thing, let's shift that energy. The glow-up is a lifestyle, not a crash course. It's how you pour your water, speak to yourself, and curate your entire damn aura. Here's how I subtly (but dramatically) elevate my everyday to keep it soft, hot, and high-vibe.

I start romanticizing boring moments

Folding laundry becomes a reset ritual when Sade is playing and there’s lavender mist in the air. I’m not "cleaning the kitchen" — I’m clearing space for my next manifestation.

I treat my body like it’s my best friend, not a project

I’m not punishing her with workouts or starving her. I move her with joy. I feed her with care. I rest her with luxury. She’s my ride-or-die, so I act like it.

I say no without guilt

Overbooked = overwhelmed = out of alignment. I’ve started turning things down that don’t feel like a full-body yes. If it doesn’t light me up or calm me down, it’s a no.

I drink my water like I’m getting paid for it

Hydration is a personality trait. I have one bottle for bed, one for my car, one that looks cute in Instagram pics — and I rotate through them like they're part of my identity.

I curate my surroundings like they’re part of my nervous system

Everything around me either adds to my peace or disrupts it. I choose candles, playlists, lighting, textures, and colors that feel like me. That is self-respect.

I move slowly on purpose

Walking slower. Eating slower. Answering slower. When I stopped rushing, I started glowing. Slow = sensual = regulated = powerful.

I take social media breaks before I get bitter

If I’m doom scrolling and comparing, I log out. If my vibe is off, I don’t keep feeding it content. I detox like I detox sugar — regularly and unapologetically.

I spend money like it’s energy

If it’s not aligned, calming, inspiring, or luxurious in some way… I’m not buying it. Wealth starts with how you invest your attention, your time, and yes — your dollars.

I prioritize joy over aesthetics

Some days the vibe isn’t a green smoothie in a silk robe — it’s eating popcorn in mismatched pajamas while watching early 2000s rom-coms. That counts. That heals.

I act like my dream life already exists (because it does)

I’m not waiting to ā€œglow up.ā€ I’m embodying it. I wear the perfume now. I eat the nourishing food now. I take care of myself now. And suddenly, I’m already her.

Follow @soleauclub for more soft glam wellness, ritual-coded glow-ups, and hot girl elevation that lasts all year.

What To Do With A ā€œWastedā€ Day šŸ¤šŸ§˜šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸŽ§

What To Do With A ā€œWastedā€ Day šŸ¤šŸ§˜šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸŽ§

So you’ve worked really hard and now it’s your one day off when you said you would be productive but instead you’ve been in bed all day and it’s already past noon. Don’t worry you are not a failure or lazy you are most likely burnt out and need a break. Here is how to be gentle on yourself while still getting a few things done.

First things first get out of bed.

Best to plant your feet on the ground and allow yourself to breathe and ground yourself.

I have also done where I’ve tossed my phone to the other side of the room so I have to get up to get it (make sure you trust your phone case first though)

Start laundry

I always like to start with my bedding so that I can’t get back into bed. Also because getting into a clean bed at the end of the night is the best reward.

You don’t have to do anymore laundry if you don’t want but it is an easy chore that doesn’t require you to focus on it for a while.

Get out of the house!!!!

Put on some lounge wear and your hair up and get out of your house.

Go get coffee or pick up lunch.

It also helps to go for a walk or pick up groceries for dinner later.

Do 3 things

Pick three tasks that will take less than an hour in total.

These don’t have to be big tasks just any task that will make you feel more accomplished.

Normally I say pick the hardest thing to do first but in times like these I recommend doing the easiest for that quick source of dopamine so you don’t get discouraged . Trying to do the biggest thing first might make you procrastinate more.

Reset for tomorrow

Ask yourself a simple question ā€œhow can I be kindest to my future self?ā€

This can be as simple as gathering your bag for tomorrow or meal prepping a breakfast for yourself.

Or if you are feeling really motivated you can clean your space and do another task from your to do’s

Go to bed

Eat a nice dinner, take a shower, put on a comfort show and enjoy your night!

Remember to go easy on yourself and allow yourself to rest at time. Society and hustle culture will always make you feel like you aren’t doing enough but rest and relaxation is productive.
