i’ll never shut up about it, i can literally feel my mindset shifting for the better, day by day.

when ppl said to write your goals (affirmations & desires) down on paper, they weren’t kidding, ‘cause why is my mindset changing for the better so rapidly??

my mindset, thinking and emotional state is excelling, and it’s only been a week.

i turn 25 this year. i casually wear sarees when i go out and i can cook just about anything. i drink turmeric water on an empty stomach and water my plants dutifully.

today i made lemon pepper chicken soup, i spent my afternoon deshelling walnuts while listening to carnatic music and doing abhyanga with my favourite ayurvedic oil. i have a long way to go in terms of where i want to be in life but somehow, at 25, i have become/am becoming a woman who is everything i never thought i could/would be as a teenager.

i sit here with oil in my hair, a gold nose ring, a bindi, being painfully domestic and embracing the full spectrum of traditional indian womanhood (coated with modern liberal 21st century values) and i feel like my 17yr old self would be both intimidated by me but also extremely confused.

someone sent me a reel on ig featuring shobhana from the tamil movie thalapathy and told me i remind them of her aesthetically speaking. if i was a teenager, id be offended bc it was too "traditional" but now somehow it feels easy and comfortable.

the deeper i go into myself, the more i find myself embracing my heritage, my culture, my roots, my religion (and others too hehe) and finding it incredibly peaceful to surrender to it and find beauty in it. i used to be such a rationalist who thought kolams made no sense and why should women make kolams anyway but now i look forward to drawing those little geometric forms outside my door everyday, beckoning Lakshmi into my little home

for those who dont know , ^^^ this is a kolam. it does not have to be this intricate or complex. there are simpler, smaller patterns. they are drawn by hand using rice flour.

I feel like people are naturally uninterested in the nakshatra of their ascendant because they are already the embodiment of that nakshatra as they interact through that nakshatra in the material world on a daily basis. We are more so hypnotized by and drawn to the nakshatra of our Sun, Moon, Ketu and Atmakaraka. Correct me if I’m wrong and let me know how YOU personally feel and why :)

I recently came across a post where it basically said that any manifestion is just setting intention and taking "inspired action" to achieve your desires. The post gave an example of someone setting the intention of closing weight and taking inspired action by eating healthy and exercising.

I'm taken aback by this point of view because what about "manifestations" where the term inspired action makes no sense. Like for example, changing your eye color or manifesting your DF or maybe even decreasing your height. Things which defy logic.

Id like to know your take on this.

that take is false. absolutely false. that's simply creating a goal and taking action to achieve that goal, which is not manifestation.

first off, inspired action is action taken unconsciously that leads you to your manifestation.

ex: me assuming that i had money leads to me deciding to clean my room hours later. then i find $100 in my drawer. i didn't clean with the intention of finding anything or looking for anything (in fact, i really didn't want to clean in the first place.), i just happened to and the money i manifested happened to show up there. that's inspired action.

i could've got a job and made the money on my own, asked a friend or family member for money, but i didn't. i didn't do anything but assume i already had it, and my reality validated that. that's manifesting.

if any manifestation was just taking action, then even like you said, it wouldn't explain how people manifest illogical things. or even something as simple as sp's for that matter. for the people that broke up and went no contact or were blocked, what did they do? hold their sp at gunpoint? hold them hostage? manipulate them to fall back in love with them? lol.

what about the people who manifested being rich? did they rob someone? what about the people who manifested appearance changes? did they secretly get plastic surgery? what about the people who manifested away chronic illnesses? what action did they take? see what i mean?

you can easily tell when someone suffers from close minded thinking (or maybe they're just stupid?) in the manifestation community. because they always fail to apply their opinions in a broader sense.

not everyone on the internet knows what they're talking about, please remember that. i'd hate for anyone genuinely wanting a change in their life to not browse the internet with that in mind. honestly, i'm taken aback as well lol. it's kind of crazy how much people can misconstrue simple words and mislead others.

and i also understand that since manifesting is considered "new" and we're so used to negative thinking patterns, it's easy to fall into that cycle of doubting easily. but please understand that some semblance logic (or critical thinking really) also applies here too.

all manifesting is and will ever be is assuming you have something. please never forget that. you assume you already have it. there is no physical action required, there are no limits, and there is nobody else in control.

When I shifted for the first time, I wasn't doing anything special.

I didn't embody my Dr self, I didn't affirm throughout the day, I didn't pretend to be somewhere I was not. I didn't visualize, I didn't script, I didn't even set an intention.

I put on a subliminal, took a nap, and woke up in a different reality.

I'm not saying this to tell you to stop everything you're doing, I'm not saying your methods are wrong or your reality checks are an overkill... I'm only saying this because I too have tried literally everything under the sun for years before I shifted and all it took was a nap.

Shifting is a simple or as complicated as you want it to be. If you assume that you don't have to do anything to shift, and you hold that assumption near and dear to your heart, you will shift without doing anything. The funny thing is that at the time I didn't even have that assumption, but every time I shifted after that I wasn't doing anything special. Yes my shifts have not lasted as long as the first one yet, but the point is:

I shifted.

And so will you.
