'The weak breeze whispers nothing The water screams sublime His feet shift, teeter-totter Deep breath, stand back, it’s time
Toes untouch the overpass Soon he’s water bound Eyes locked shut but peek to see The view from halfway down
A little wind, a summer sun A river rich and regal A flood of fond endorphins Brings a calm that knows no equal
You’re flying now You see things much more clear than from the ground It’s all okay, it would be Were you not now halfway down
Thrash to break from gravity What now could slow the drop All I’d give for toes to touch The safety back at top
But this is it, the deed is done Silence drowns the sound Before I leaped I should’ve seen The view from halfway down
I really should’ve thought about The view from halfway down I wish I could’ve known about The view from halfway down'
if your weird enough with the homies you can break all boundaries of platonic/romantic love and make a third, more evil thing
I know this takes away from the mysterious cryptic vibes but I always imagine Unus and Annus being uncomfortably shoved in the coffin together, very much alive and awake, waiting in awkward silence for something to happen.
I overthink things you've never even thought of
your teeth are a gift from god and you can sink them into other people's flesh btw
the reason i personally find comfort in such depressing shows like bojack horseman it's because they're hopeful in a way that feels realistic.
a lot of "dramas with happy endings" tend to have a very idealized version of healing, forgiveness or redemption that only work in fiction. because sometimes these idealized endings include never facing consequences of all things that happen, as in, everyone being shallow versions of a person.
but this show tells you that recovery most likely not be linear, but you still should keep trying. that even when you love someone, you have to let go some relationship that just drag you down with them for your own sake. that you can not keep hurting people and expect the relationship go back to normal.
but is not cynic about it, it shows the ugly but realistic aspects of trauma, mental illness, toxic relationship, unhealthy coping mechanism... and still most characters are in a happier place in the end than they were in the start because they're dealing with these things in healthier ways.
And i personally think this is something you need to hear. Even the characters that die without a happy ending, play a role on this, either as a cautionary tale on how you trait other, or as a form to give visibility to tragedies other stories would hide, downplay, idealize or treat as a joke.
