Love love love this opening scene I LOVE COLETTE AND EISENS RELATIONSHIP SO MUCH. Colette’s little “If you say so” SO VICIOUS!!!! LOVE HER!!!!! And also at 2:40 I rlly love the bells in the background. The very faint bells I JUST LOVE LITTLE AUDIO DETAILS LIKE THAT It makes the space feel so real (EDIT: YOU FUCKING GENIUS MEG YOU FUCKING GENIUS. THE BELLS HAVE A PAYOFF LATER WHEN FUCKING TELESPHORE MEETS W/ SAGA)

“EISEN: Telsie, did you see that? She almost fuckin’ killed me. I’ve never been more proud in my life- it was incredible! | TELESPHORE: Very impressive! Colette, if you're going to dismember Eisen, leave the hands and the face alone, would you? Colette loves back of house employment. Shes so me. LOVE THE DELIVERY ON “Is that from last year’s Parisian Elegance Fall/Winter catalogue?” SO SO CUTE. And I love Saga’s…. I mean JENNIFERS… voice actor (Ioana Adascalite) too, SO MUCH!!!

Also Eisen dealing w his pain via injury is rlly personally cathartic too “I thought I was close to full recovery, but man, after sparring with Colette earlier I am really feeling that bullet wound” I just rlly like this line. I feel this line (I have not been shot in a prison run but working at a bakery is the equivalent of that LET ME OUT)

I love how sassy and grandstanding Colette has become over the past 3 seasons. Like w Eisen and Telesphore, she’s comfortable enuff to hold her own (just in a self assuring way) and I LOVE HER. She holds her own when she doesnt wanna deal w front of house work anymore. I fucking love you Colette. I love how everyone has gradually changed over the show which.... I know is integral to like…. writing characters..... but KINGMAKER DOES IT SO WELL!!!!!!!

Guys..... Please listen to Roy Kaplan. This show has so much love and effort poured into it over a long (& very worth the length) production time, AND EVERY EPISODE HAS ITS OWN ILLUSTRATION!!??? I MEAN COME ON!!!!!! IM GRINNING LIKE A MANIAC!!!!!!! If I was a billionaire I would reward that with one ZILLION dollars (I stole an additional trillion to get to a zillion, from my billion. We all know rich people steal). You know how much I love illustration (if u know me... or I suppose that's fairly obvious, but I digress) Anyways the performances are so fun & the story is fantastic, and the creator/production is so so very kind, pls give this audio drama the love it so very much deserves – there isn't much to get thru listening-wise, and u will not be disappointed. Again thank u for letting me be a part of this in general, I AM SO HONORED. I'm shaking around little pompoms for ROY KAPLAN!!!!
