Everyone's already ragged on that "woke videogames" list, but I do want to note the ridiculousness of the fact that Darkest Dungeon (Lovecraftian dungeon crawler where some of the characters are black and/or women) is "woke", Fallout New Vegas (RPG about what political system you think is the best to fight fascism) is "slightly woke", and Frostpunk (city builder about the moral compromises that come up in dire circumstances and whether or not it leads to tyranny) is "not woke."

you literally can’t convince me that Portal 2 isn’t literature. there’s heavy use of allegory and symbolism. there’s a ghost haunting the walls. two of the most interesting characters are women who barely speak. there’s allusions to greek mythology. there’s an arrogant man talking you to death. there’s classical music (briefly). it ponders what it means to be human and proposes that mankind’s hubris will lead to its downfall. the moon is there

the women of america were once promised that butch dykes would be lurking in all corners of society, ready to corrupt our minds and turn us all gay. what ever happened to that. where are the butches uncle sam.

house md is essentially: house suggests something absolutely insane as a diagnosis or treatment, all the underlings thinks it won’t work but do what house says anyway because no one can really argue with house’s logic except cuddy but house does what he wants anyway, wilson is in the background looking all smitten at house, house sees the fond looks that wilson is giving him and decides to pull pranks on wilson, wilson is more cunning and pranks house back and somehow that’s a love language that equates to them banging and exchanging a marriage proposal all at once, house sudden gets an ah-ha moment while he’s eye-fucking wilson and he saves the day with a diagnosis of infective wind exposure, everyone has some poignant moment at the end of the episode, and house goes home with wilson
