Noticing your own self-talk is a fundamental part of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), one of the most common types of therapy. What are the stories you tell yourself when you’re feeling anxious? Are those stories true? Interrupting your thought patterns can help you find relief instead of going down a spiral of anxious thoughts. What if you have a hard time catching your thoughts as they’re happening? No problem—like anything else, it takes practice! The more you practice, the more naturally it comes. A lot of pop psychology gets thrown around and since I already have a headache, here's preventing you lot from making it worse.
Love-bombing: A manipulation tactic of increasing affection and grand gestures before or after doing something abusive, specifically to weasel one's way out of consequences.
What it is not: A streak of affection and generosity towards friends/loved ones.
Trauma-bonding: Knowingly traumatizing someone to take advantage of their vulnerable state, to then act like the "hero" or the one who cheers them up.
What it is not: Bonding over similar traumas.
Gaslighting: *Knowingly* convincing someone they cannot trust their own perception of a situation in pursuit of one's own narrative.
What it is not: Misaligned perception of events.
Narcissist: Someone afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a traumagenic cluster B disorder, that struggles with self-obsession, paranoia, craving validity from the public, delusions of grandeur, and social disconnection.
It is not: Your rubbish ex that cheated on you.

i think ultimately you do really have to kill that part of your brain that vividly imagines how you would redo parts of your life.
things that seem small can be really brave:
getting up in the morning
asking for help
stopping when you know you’ve pushed yourself too hard
admitting when you were in the wrong
forgiving yourself
making an effort even when you don’t have the motivation
reaching out to others when you feel alone
+ much more
Just say the weird thing!!! you will attract a crazy girl who wants to be your best friend.
You are not a machine. You're a soul who needs music, connection, sunsets, laughter, and small pockets of joy. Prioritize them like your life depends on it because it does. Lite isn't meant to be a cycle of stress and survival. Pause. Look up. Let the sunset remind you: you’re here to live, not just to hustle. Life is not a to-do list. It's a gift. Walk slower. Hug longer. Laugh louder. Love deeper. The clock may be ticking but your presence is timeless. We've been conditioned to believe that constant productivity equals worth, but humans weren't designed for endless output. We need moments of wonder, connection, and rest not as rewards for hard work, but as essential ingredients for a meaningful life.
