my favorite thing ever is when supernatural creatures just love stiles ❤️ like oh yeah. there’s a family of pixies in some random forest in california who ADORES stiles and practically wants to adopt him. yup there’s the yeti who’s practically in love with stiles and is willing to do anything for him. oh! there’s the mermaid who would literally pay to be a human for a day just to spend time with stiles. and there’s the old vampire who is always gifting stiles antique knickknacks and practically has stiles in his will (“vampires have wills!?”) wherein he’ll inherit his entire dracula mansion and possessions from like the 1600s. i just crave supernatural creatures who just adore stiles ❤️ little silly stiles ❤️ derek is so so torn whether or not he should be jealous or be happy because that’s his stile

LOOK I AM CONVINCED. Convinced, I tell you. This was the original plan. I mean, up to the ending of season three. They changed it all because they made four seasons instead of the five that were originally planned.
My theory pre-S4 was that the S4 main villain would indeed be Eurus to the point that everyone (both the characters and the viewers) would think that the S3 “MISS ME” message was Eurus’ trick except by the last episode of S4 or at least in the cliffhanger Moriarty would really appear, flesh and blood. And S5 would be the final countdown.

After running my Canon Macdennis Survey, it became very clear that the reason the fandom is so divided on the idea as to whether or not Macdennis is already canon is because people have pretty wildly different understandings of what canon means for a ship (and are even more-so when it comes to an enigma like Macdennis).
What seemed to be highly consistent with people who do believe Macdennis is already canon, however, is the idea that Macdennis, as a non-platonic relationship, is something that is intended by the show. That is to say, their relationship is written and acted in such a way that the audience is meant to interpret it as romantic and/or sexual in nature, beyond the surface level of pairing the two together for "the joke"
Since half the fandom doesn't view Macdennis as canon, and therefore their thoughts on this concept were somewhat limited in the responses I received, I'm curious to know from anyone and everyone in the fandom...
*Intentional does not mean that you think they will eventually "end up together", but that you believe the current, continuing writing for Mac and Dennis is intended by RCG to be viewed as something more than platonic and not just for one-off bits

the funny thing about tgcf is that both xl and hc obviously think of themselves as the romanced femme in their ya novel dynamic. xl thinks he's the dainty maiden who gets romanced by the daring charming male lead. hc thinks he's the poor damsel who was saved by the wealthy but kind lord and spends the rest of her life pining after him.
both of them are 800 year old men who love fighting and beating people up. xl is a literal beefcake. they're still living their best femme lead lives.

Love idea that Michael is so much stronger than he looks.
Jake's strong too obviously, typical Hephaestus kids strength,but no one expects Michael be as strong as he is.
But this kid is hauling around people as a medic. Not to mention draw weight for a actual bow can be heavy especially for expert archers pretty sure. Any Apollo kid who main archery or are medics likely have lot of strength especially with their arms.
Michael is both an archer and an active medic(as we know Will learned under him). He's definitely strong.
Jake gets hurt and can't walk much on his own and Michael has no problem getting him to the infirmary.
Jake is a flustered mess,Beckendorf 100% is teasing him about it later hdhdg

Will's throwing people over his shoulder without second thought. Imagine Nico in the infirmary during the 3 days and just watching Will throw an fussy injured Sherman Yang over his shoulder and taking him to a cot to get him to lay down. No trouble doing it what so ever.
Lee too. 100% you have Luke, most respected and looked up to demigod in camp, who just gets picked up by Lee like he weighs nothing. Gods help him when he's in trouble.
Lee especially i feel pretty strong. He has even more years of being at camp and is fully grown. But like his siblings, he looks a whole lot more harmless than he is.
Idk why think idea of Apollo kids being perceived as harmless but able to absolutely wreck you is so fun. Think it fits them
Apollo is god of music, poetry, healing. But also of plagues and archery(usually used in war). He's god of the sun, which helps give life but can also harm you in the same vein. He's the god of truth, bringing light to one's own guilt and purifying them of it.
Despite everything he is, he's often seen for his lighter side.
Think his children being seen similarly is interesting

Michael, for the most part, doesn't like people touching him.
There's very few people who he's comfortable with physical contact.
Thing is, to those few people, he's very touchy with.
If one of the Stolls grabbed his arm? He snap at them.
Yet he'll just randomly snuggle up in Jake's lap like it's nothing.
You'll easily find him and his siblings in a cuddle pile in their cabin.
He doesn't even think about it sometimes. Him and Will would be working on something in the infirmary and Michael will just lean on his younger brother why they're looking at something. Or Sits down by one of his siblings laying on their bunk why they're all in the cabin talking and just starts running a hand through his siblings hair.
And it's real common thing for the Apollo cabin. They're very clingy as a family. Small bits of physical affection just how they show their love. They're all kinda like outgoing cats.

But yeah. Jake was taken a back when Michael first got comfortable enough to be physically affectionate. It was before they were dating, and probably before Michael even realized he liked Jake like that.
Michael had came in why Jake was in the forge. Jake had lost track of time and missed two meals and Michael was trying to get him to his cabin to rest.
When it came clear there was something on Jake's mind Michael had gotten him to sit down and talk about it
Jake had started tearing up and,without even thinking, laid his head on Michael's shoulder trying to hide his face from him.
Michael didn't say anything, or move, he just let Jake let out his built up emotions. At some point he started absentmindedly playing with Jake's curls.
Jake was surprised at first, but then leaned into it. Relaxing at the contact.
Later on when they are dating, Jake sits down with Michael after finally getting him to slow down after Lee's death.
Michael breaks down crying, burying his face in Jake's chest. Jake doesn't mind, and just holds him close.
He starts to run his fingers through Michael's hair, and immediately learns that Michael loves having his hair played with.
Michael just leans into it, relaxing even as tears are still falling. Just letting Jake continue the motion until he passes out from exhaustion from the last few days.
Just- Michael being so clingy to those he loves and only accepting physical touch from them one my fav things.

Jake is the only one who Michael doesn't mind being flirted with.
Really, Michael gets almost reversely jealous when someone else tries to flirt with him. Even before him and Jake were officially dating.
He didn't think much of it at the time. He just thought Jake was playing around when he did it, and he just was better at it than others.
Lee had to explain to him that maybe only liking when one specific person playfully flirts with you might not be very platonic.
Jake does get actually jealous though. He'll glare daggers with anyone who flirts with Michael. He does not hide it as well as he think he does.
His siblings tease him constantly, especially when he's pouting and glaring across the campfire at someone trying to flirt with Michael and his siblings are just-
"How has no one else figured out you two are a thing yet-"
They're a definition of hiding in plan sight. The closet is glass but by gods the rest of the camp are birds.
