Everyone's favorite cosmic joke

More Foreteller headcanons!
Why does no one talk abt how some of the things alan did to victim, victim ended up doing to chosen. Like with the rope. Victim got tied up, so victim tied up chosen.
Victim got that blade thingy thrown at him, so victim threw that same looking blade at chosen.
And with the victim dupliacting himself, he also duplicated himself to use his clones against chosen like he did with alan.
Victim is doing the same things he did in the begining. Its like hes turning into his current enemy, alan. Maybe he doesnt realize it. Maybe he doesnt realize that he is behaving the same way alan behaved with him.
Or maybe these are just references to episode 1 idk i noticed these when rewatching the series.
Iâve been struggling with art block these past few days so I havenât been active a lot recently. School is still breathing down my neck as well and assignments are piling up. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this short comic despite it looking a tad bit rushed!
I wish I had stick figures living on my computer so they could do things like this.
This is soo sweet, I love how intimate the moment feels! The way Ava softens Quaritch's roughness and he allows himself to be more vunrable with her! Their dynamic is great â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Ava how she helps Quaritch to wash his back. I love how peaceful he looks. I love wholesome art v.v đ
I drew this when I had a short moment without struggling with my pain q.q it was woth it. I am very obsessed with these 2 <3
Bro poor Alan XD
Sticks always break his computer, I can't imagine all the times he had to reset everything or even buy new computers XD
(AvA SPOILERS!!?)
We get to see a glypse of event of Purple's family
(scene starts at 16:08)
This is beautiful , I love this and I would die for this.
Lookie Lou đâ¨ď¸
A loooooong overdue comic I've been meaning to make for @doll-puppet of their Bloodlust Devotion MC, Ava!! I adore her & her design so so much and have wanted to make fanart of her for a while now, and when they requested for me to draw them art of her interacting with Peony I couldn't help but seize the opportunity â¤ď¸
I sincerely apologize for taking so long to complete your request đđ Time has not been on my side recently with life, school, & work getting in the way so I didn't really have an opportunity to finish it until right now. Thank you for your patience and I hope I didn't make Ava too OOC đ

It's so funny to me how Dark man-handled the Color Gang in the most devastating, tragic, emotional way possible
And then when brought up, Green's only response is "ew"
I love him so much HAHSHAH
anyways looking for some avam mutuals reblog here jshjsw
Iâve touched upon how I think the Timeline is a little wonky in this regard before, but I just couldnât stop thinking about it.
And I think Iâve figured it out.
When Victim first escapes Alanâs PC, he first goes to Yahoo.
I even made a joke about it in my last post, about how Alanâs taken the piss out of Yahoo before.
But, well, that previous time?
The Flashback.
But moreso: Yahoo is the first thing Chosen and Dark are shown attacking during the Flashback.
Both Victim AND Chosen and Dark end up at Yahoo after they escape.
And there might be a reason for it:
Alanâs PC was originally tethered to Yahoo. [It also seemed to have an offshoot connection to MSN, which it took me an hour to identify that logo as I was unfamiliar with it.] That was the primary webstring (tunnel, but I wanna call them webstrings bc world wide web) to his IP box. And His IP only originally has one webstring coming out of it.
Until Victim does...Whatever THIS is. And causes ALL OF THE IP addresses to become tethered to the Outernet directly.
[Victim not being uploaded anywhere and coming directly from a PC in a rocket made of computer program parts might have significance on why the Barrier became connected to the IP Boxes, but thatâs a different theory for another day.]
So currently, Alanâs PC has two connections to it: One that leads to Yahoo/MSN, and another that leads directly to the Outernet.
We all assumed that Chosen and Dark went right to the Outernet when they left his old PC, because it was implied that that tunnel was the same one Chosen had COME from and that he and the Color Gang were currently going through; a webstring that does spit them out into the Outernet.
But they didnât.
Dark and Chosen did not go through the Outernet webstring.
They went to through the YAHOO webstring.
I refuse to believe itâs a coincidence that they ended up on Yahoo first, or just happened to choose to attack Yahoo first, when Yahoo is shown to be directly connected to Alanâs IP box.
They never went to the Outernet. They went from Alanâs PC DIRECTLY TO Yahoo.
Which means that the first part of the Flashback is showing the events of what Chosen and Dark did IMMEDIATELY after they escaped.
Yahoo was the first place they were spit out into, so they decided to destroy it too. Why not? They just literally got done destroying Alanâs computer, why not wreck more human shit?
Victim and Chosen/Darkâs paths differ after Yahoo.
Victim goes to Runescape, then Myspace, to the Singh Family IP Box, where he crashes out of and into GracesPC, where heâs taken to Newgrounds, and then he crashes into the Outernet.
Chosen and Dark, if the Flashback showed their complete journey, went from Yahoo, to Angry Birds, to StickPage, to Newgrounds.
The websites are shown to have dozens, if not hundreds of webstrings attached to them. Each leading to different places: other websites, other programs, other IP Boxes.
Itâs totally possible that Dark and Chosen just went through a different webstring than Victim did to end up at Angry Birds instead, especially if they stopped to destroy Yahoo. Victim just made a (somewhat straight) shot through. But they could have just picked an exit at random.
I made a diagram for it:
It this theory is true, then it implies that StickPage is the first time both Dark and Chosen are seeing other living stick figures besides each other.
And that some HUGE implications.
Do Chosen and Dark realize what theyâre doing, when theyâre attacking stick figures?
Do they understand that other sticks are alive like them? That other sticks can be hurt, that they can feel pain? Do Chosen and Dark have a concept of death? Do they even realize theyâre causing death to the sticks theyâre attacking?
Dark was literally just created THAT DAY. How much does he know? How much does he understand?
How much knowledge does a stick figure possess, innately, when theyâre created?
Chosen has been alive for 4 and a half years, but heâd been imprisoned and enslaved. Heâd never seen another stick figure before Dark. All he knew was fighting, being forced to destroy pop-ups, and trying to escape. Does HE know the nature of other living things? Does HE know how to behave towards others of his kind? Does HE understand the concept of death?
Dark was made to kill Chosen, and the first moments of his life were spent attempting to fulfill that purpose. And then he went immediately into destroying the computer. And then immediately into destroying websites.
Dark had nothing to teach him that wanton destruction and mass murder wasnât okay to do. He and Chosen simply did them, and he found he liked doing them. He didnât have a moral compass to tell him it was wrong, and he didnât have the opportunity to properly develop one. There was no resistance to prevent him from becoming a psychopath who enjoyed hurting and killing other living beings.
Because Chosen certainly wasnât stopping him. Not yet, at any rate.
But Chosen...Chosen was older. Chosen had experienced different things from Dark. Chosen probably experienced pain and fear at Alanâs hands. (Victimâs backstory has got me fully doubting that Chosen was just left to twiddle his thumbs when he wasnât being used as a pop-up blocker. Alan hurt Chosen too. Chosen just probably never died from it.) Was that enough to give him the basis for a sense of morality? Enough to instill him with the ability to empathize?
Is that why Chosen pauses, when Mitsi dies? Is he starting to realize the full consequences of their actions? That theyâre killing sticks?
Or does none of this even matter? Was Dark made from the start to be an evil psychopath and thatâs why he is the way he is? Was Chosen made ânormalâ and simply chose to be an asshole because he was angry?
How much of it is their nature vs their lack of life experience?
This might be the reason why Chosen is participating in the Newgrounds attack. Itâs so early into HIS life that he hasnât had those changes to his morals yet. This might be the START of that change. The instigating event. The things that start causing him doubt his own actions, that eventually blooms into distaste and guilt. That eventually allows him to see that Darkâs behavior isnât right.
That allows him to recognize his own behavior isnât right.
The Flashback attacks have set in motion the divide between them on what their characters eventually become: Chosen develops a sense of morality, Dark does not.
Both the party and the Flashback attacks are happening on October 2nd, 2011, mere hours after Chosen and Dark have escaped.
There IS one potential snag to this theory, and that's the escape portal.
And that is, admittedly, a massive one.
That LOOKS like a Chosen-made portal. It even makes the same sounds as the ones in The Virus and The Chosen One Returns did.
But we never see nor hear what a 'normal' entrances/exit to a website looks like. We see Victim exiting them in side profile, not as they look from the surface level.
It's very possible that Chosen is just opening up the entrance into a webstring when he makes his portals.
The webstring to the Outernet already exists. He's not MAKING a connection, just opening a door.
And a webstring from Newgrounds to the Outernet ALSO already exists.
That's what I think the escape portal is, this webstring that was made when Victim fundamentally changed the entire fabric of digital reality by complete accident. Dude had a busy day that day.
Honestly, I don't think even The Chosen One has the ability to MAKE webstrings. They seem like they're fundamental connections across the internet that had been pretty well established before Victim did his thing. And that was a MASSIVE amount of energy that was released to create those new webstrings.
The entire way the internet digital space works feels very cosmic to me. Like some massive inspiration was taken from the universe in it's design. The IP Boxes look like stars, the websites planets, and they sheer nothingness in between feels like a vacuum.
I don't think it's IMPOSSIBLE to make new webstrings [I actually theorize Dark figured out how to do so with the cliff side portals] just...
Beyond Chosen's ability to do so himself.
Hence: the webstring between Newgrounds and the Outernet.
The wobbly weird-sounded hole in the ground might just be what they look like naturally. Or someone else opened it. We have no confirmation that's an ability unique to Chosen.
So that's my theory. Chosen and Dark never went to the Outernet before they started their rampage. They rampaged, and THEN probably went to the Outernet.
Where they probably got stuck, for at least a little bit. Cuz, y'know, the Sky Barrier is solid. (Also hey Signh Family IP)
You sure did cook vroski!!
This small little moment is SO important to me now that we have context, their bond is so important to me I swear
chat, i cooked
YAY MY FAVORITE POLYCULE happy holidays and I'm gonna throw myself off a cliff now
Hi...I love your dark lord design, could I maybe see some doodles, you don't need to if you want...Also your art is such an inspiration
here som darky doodles đ¤˛
Me and a friend had a nerd voyage about Navy and Orchid, and Paw brought up their cameo in AVA11 - Victim, in which I never previously consideredâand it generally got me thinking about their relationship in compliment of the Newgrounds Tragedy. It had me contemplating about what if, rather the Newgrounds Tragedy was responsible for their substantial regression. What went wrong? I really would have never even begun to compose my thoughts if it weren't for him, so all credits!
Navy and Orchid's relationship is especially interesting to me as they were written and programmed to persist as these ideal, beautifully in love couple who attend towards their child. It's on the thumbnail of their uploaded file after all. All 3 of them in the frame! Protective and adoring arms wrapped around Purple.
Now, the timeline of this is a bit rough.
Purple in the thumbnail appears as though he's rather young. I can safely conclude that he is roughly around the same height as the first combat sequence in his presented backstory in AVM29 - Note Block Universe. The thumbnail provides some context that their story was perhaps on-going.
Navy being written as this character who gives strict but positive practices on combat towards Purple. Giving encourages. Orchid being a kind, lighthearted and comforting supporter toward this, nothing more and nothing less.
Nothing more because their creator was not given a chance to, that is.
The destruction of their file in the 2011 tragedy forced a sudden halt. An acute awareness that the couple's intervention with each other was nothing but automated; synthetic, leaving a sour taste as one would when your entire reality and purpose is completely shattered. There could be no interference towards their line of written story and code, forcing them to stick with their present (or what is known to them as the present)
No updates, no progression, no development, no further growth. Really, just nothing. Just an uncompleted story that forces the two to endure and carry on where they had been abandoned at. It's not like they have any other choice, just as the thousands of animations beside them.
As mentioned, Navy was loving, but designed with strict authority and boundaries towards training.
Navy's intentions and reasoning towards the sparring is unknown, making me beg the question; does he even know? Was his creator given the time to?
This confusion can host some hostility, oh undoubtedly.
Following with these characteristics in oppose to how he handles the aftermath of the tragedy, Navy engages in being impatient, inconsistent, irrational, eager, pestering, forceful, and downright abusive from the power imbalance in reflex to the instability of not having some designated context or rather purpose. Security.
Orchid, being the timid bystander. Providing comfort and sanctity to Purple every once in a while from a far too rough sparring. She's kind, neutral, observant, and naturally empathetic. But the entire interference leaves this bitter taste as she's nothing more than this role.
And honestly, that is heartbreaking for Orchid, and downright sad. Discomfort of aiding in your child's physical and mental development due to the dreadful profound ability of your unfair positioning does not correlate to not standing up for them at all. She has her priorities of not interfering unless certain that he is being empowered. She does not appreciate power imbalancesâand this shows as she rather progresses from present comfort towards near audibility unless firm - and this is where I believe her fatal flaw comes in. Ignorance until positive.
And this shows in Purple, it shows a lot.
She does try her best, yes. She's still very loving, she still really loves Purple. She loves Navy. it's in her code after all. But her noticeable absence speaks volumes that she was attempting to distance herself.
But I find the reasoning to be much more due to Navy than Purple, if I'm being honest.
Navy and Orchid's relationship is surely strange. So in love in contrast to their narrative, then stranded to a rough prevention of their chronology. It doesn't defeat the purpose that they still, very much love each other. But the revulsion that it was nothing but a hoax will leave a agonizing dread in the atmosphere.
But after all, they have nothing else to stick to. Be optimistic with what you're left with, make best out of the worst. They can continue where their unfinished log was unfortunately Interrupted. And it goes as unwell as you would expect.
Hell, Navy's reaction towards these issues definitely encourages a hatred in Orchid and prompt towards distance. She was obviously discouraged from him and his impulses way early on, but the conflict rises when her son is the most vulnerable victim of it, and she does not like this.
Orchid and Navy are a loving bunch but two very different individuals. It wasn't too long until Orchid's comforting, soothing nature began to grow anxious and clash with Navy's raw approaches, outbursts and harsh eagerness. The worst part is that this isn't even Navy's fault.
And this shows. You would think once Navy leavesâshe could rest. She could feel secure. She is loose from this lined attire that kept her glued to these strict set bounds; she's ridden of worries, and,
And this is where she proves you wrong. She is guilt-ridden, she's upset. She's left paralyzed, numb, in shock, detached. But why?âWhy would she feel this way? Isn't she relieved of the split from the first ever obligated context she was programmed to be with?
Oh.
Ohh,
Ohhh, my poor girl.
And it's such a complexity of being doomed by the (unfinished) narrative. And it's rather the contrasting spectrum of it: the burning hatred of the figure you were made to love vs the boundless affection of how at the end of the dayâyou were still made to love them. The horrors is inescapable, no matter how much you try to run away from it.
Many people have wondered who is in the background, the answer to the question is the personification of all those who worked on ava
