This part in the trailer REALLY got me.

I mean, there’s NO way there isn’t more to this, right?  Before the reveal, I had my own headcanon that Dani was Anton’s son/ daughter.  Now after seeing this, I’m more convinced than ever.  If it’s true, it just makes the story that much better.  It also makes Diego our brother (or half-brother).

I mean, why in the grand scheme of things mention that Dani was an orphan if it wasn’t a narrative thread that was going to be twisted later?  I am REALLY looking forward to this.

The Far Cry: Rite of Passage comic book series has been announced 😍 Available May 19!

"Just as the three villains grace the covers of the Far Cry: Rite of Passage issues, their stories will be retold within each chapter. The series features Antón Castillo and his son, Diego, who are both core characters in the upcoming Far Cry 6. Dark Horse said the series begins with Diego turning 13, that being the rite of passage the series’ title alludes to. Antón uses the occasion to impart on Diego “important lessons in leadership” and “cautionary tales he has heard about the undoing of three legendary men.”"

I uninstalled the game but I heard Diego’s grave is somewhere on the map??? 

Far Cry 6 Ending Spoilers

Honestly, why did I waste my time getting attached to characters if they were gonna die in the end? A part of me wonders if Diego’s part in the story was cut. We all know that most of the budget went to Anton’s actor salary but I wish we saw more of Diego without his father beside him. The kid just doesn’t show up enough in the story, but I still got really attached to him and wanted him to live by the end. What a bummer.
