A Simple Conjuring
Take a small taper candle and stick nine pins in it, top to bottom. At twilight, go into an empty room (or go outside, if the weather permits) and light it.
"Silver chime of falling pin,
let the sprites and spirits in."
This rhyme may be supplemented with further conjurations describing the spirit you seek. They shall appear when the last pin falls.
(You'd be wise to bring some sort of scrying device with you so that they can give you a visual.)
I’ve finally made elderberry syrup! The cinnamon and black cardamom give it a really nice depth. And I always love rosehips. I’ll save the reishi for something else.
