I see through a golden space
I'm trapped in amber sap,
Onto the outside I look
Within the inside I am firm
Fossilized, undiscerned

today I am mourning for what's yet to come, deep in the afterparty of death
Black, tarred, the walls eat everything up
grim appetite for the full dark night

everything I catch
is a relic of my past
leaving things alone
until they rot and turn to stone;
in another memory they'll go

why do I never admit what I will someday? make a lie for myself in a horrible way and I wouldn't like to watch you come tumbling too with some bleak misfortune, staring in silent rooms

Tightly, entangling, but not before they reach for you and you would be the first thing they’d hold onto

History’s lost stories
Crying on the torn pages

What I do
What I do is I compress all the love into a tiny spark
living in the firecracker, ready to take off
what I do is deny my obsession, and the eventual fall
