If you are feeling good about yourself or situation and then your mood suddenly shifts leaving you feeling insecure, unsure, etc. try to remind yourself that nothing has truly changed but your perception. Your cute outfit did not suddenly become horrid. Your delicious meal did not tranform into a terrible one. Your peers perception of you has not radically transformed over a social misstep. Everything we experience is put through it through our mental filter, and that can convince us that everyone else sees us with the judgement we have for ourselves. Be kind to yourself.

practices the rpc needs to Collectively Get Back Into:
commenting on peoples’ posts, threads, art, graphics, etc. just telling them that you see it and that it looks good / is entertaining / etc. – because content creators can’t read your mind and as nice as it’d be for us to always serve ourselves with our work … realistically we will lose motivation to continue creating without some kind of support. if you like something then say so !!
sending each other’s muses messages about muses they’re talking to or characters from their canon and just generally getting actively involved in the narratives other people create & encouraging those people to discuss them
asking people random questions about their characters without fear that it’s too outlandish, provided the question isn’t invasive or rude
sending honest, heartfelt notes of positivity and making loveposts about other creators and the work they do. not chainmail, not lazy generic shit, but real kindness, in our Own Words
drawing people fanart of their characters / ships / OCs !! please !! really !! i don’t know when that EVER became something people grew too nervous to do !! most people ADORE it. even if it’s just fucking stick figures, man, i PROMISE you that taking the time and putting in the effort to show someone that the work they do inspired the work you do will make their whole fucking day

and NOBODY with ANY goddamn sense is EVER going to react negatively to you Just Being Fucking Nice so stop worrying about doing that !! PLEASE !!!!!
I think it’s very important to emphasise that there can be so many versions of you existing within the same existential reality, side by side. You don’t have to abandon your core to succumb to any socially engineered version of you that only brings about peace in the latter and not within you :( it’s okau to admit that different people placed contextually in different settings will inevitably bring out different sides of you! That doesn’t necessarily imply that you’re forgetting your ground :) to each their own. It’ll always be upto you to show any or every side of you to a person <3
You offer so much of yourself to people every day, and you still have more to give. While I’m not trying to encourage you into engaging in any behaviour that could possibly drain you, that requires a lot of effort, time and thought. I just wanted to tell you that you’re really brave to be putting up with everything by the end of the day regardless of what it has coming your way and still shooting back again, even if that means doing nothing ‘supposedly’ productive and laying in bed :)
