Day 8; CGs/scenes that made you cry or affected you deeply.
I rambled about crying over a few OWs CGs however, I'll actually talk about the ones that either made me go through the five stages of grief or have an emotional breakdown.
The ending of Arc 1, brought back unpleasant memories. By that, I mean, the days I've spent in my room, the days I blamed myself for something I didn't even do and simply wishing that I never existed in the first place. Maybe everyone will be better off without me. Maybe.
In Arc 2, when it got to Gidgets scene in the bedroom. Even though Iggy tried to refuse/reject them, they continue on, harming Iggy, making him 'ugly' so that they can only have him. It really gave me the ick that I just saved the game before taking a breather.
It's hard to explain the emotions I felt in Arc 5, but Imma try anyways. :P
When Iggy confronted Bucks, making her remember. The flashbacks of the amount of times that people had called her a monster, even when she turned into an adult, I...I don't know why but I felt a hint of familiarity. I don't know if it's because of the fact that I've been labelled as a freak multiple times or maybe something that I can't really recall.
Although, when Iggy at the beginning of Arc 5 (not really), when he and Genzou were on the boat, he told Genzou that everything is his fault and how everyone is better off without him. It really tugged at my heartstrings that I literally had to take a moment to breathe AGAIN before continuing on.
At the end of Arc 5 though...Was honestly the best VN ending I have ever played/watched...Oh my fucking lord, the amount of times I cried when Iggy makes his own choices, how he finally chose for Himself! (I totally didn't get fooled by the fake choices-). I felt so much joy that tears were even flooding down my cheeks. I'm happy he chose for himself. It reminds me of how I finally freed myself from the prison I had created myself. The urge to please others and everyone.

Day 7: Personal OW Aus.
OW Aus. Definitely 🤩. I only have like 1-5 Aus -3-". Sooo, summary on each of them ;3;
1 ) AIB X OW
In case some of you don't know AIB; AIB/Alice in Borderland is a live action/anime/manga series that people have to play games for their lives. It's like Squid Game but the only award is Visa (aka, the amount of days that you can live without playing a game.) Each game has a difficulty level and suit based on the card the player is playing.
Heart = Emotional and psychological test.
Spades = Psychical
Diamond = Intelligence and Logic test.
Clubs = Teamwork
In this small au of mine, the group sadly had to go through the games to live on. They survived three games but unfortunately, their moments were short lived when they played a Hearts game. The difficulty level was Nine as they only played the game because Iggy needed more days on his visa. In the game, they were with eight other people and uh it didn't end well. Let's just say that Iggy was the only one who walked out that night along with three other players.
I thought of this crossover AU a while back after rewatching the series that I was planning to make a video based off of but never got the chance to due to a lot of work and stuff. BUT I did draw this cringe ahh sketch angst of it :3
(Did I mention that one of the other players killed Genzou out of greed-)
2 ) Spy! Au
I talked about my thoughts of this personal au of mine, and how I think each character fits into the roles.
The story is mostly about a Loser Rookie agent (Iggy) getting sent out to grab a mysterious package without further information. Unfortunately, it led to Iggy's life being endangered as the package has something that every gang is out to get. How is Genzou involved? Heh.
Uhm. Sooo, due to Genzou being a framed-ex agent turned Mercenary, etc, etc, he was also tasked to get the package by some anonymous user. ;3;
Enough about the lovey doveys!
Orlam and Gidget had made an alliance due to the supplies that both have to offer. Orlam needs the tech as Gidget needs weapons and Intel about certain people.
Now onto Bucks and Hunar. Those two were school sweethearts but since Bucks has become a Hit-woman, Hunar feared the safety of Saydie, which led the two to have a break into their relationship. Obviously, Hunar lets Saydie see Bucks whenever it's safe...but that's rarely.
3 ) Anomaly AU
Honestly, this is like a SPOOKY MONTH 👹 au but mostly after a tragic news about disappearances happening everywhere and theories about a lab accidentally letting loose these creatures that can shape shift into anything or anyone.
One night, due to Iggy hearing noises in his house for two weeks, he had messaged Genzou about it and didn't feel safe. After minutes that flew by and Genzou hadn't answered his message. Fortunately, Iggy would hear Genzou knocking on his front door, calling for him. Or so he thought.
I might try and make a comic strip about this AU in October or maybe a few days from now but other than that, this AU is heavily inspired by Mandela Catalogue, The Winter land, Arcadia and Orlakis (hopefully I wrote that name right 😅).
This AU has been stuck in my head for weeks...
4 ) Cyber AU;
This Cyber au often comes across my mind.
Especially when thinking about Gidgly (imsorry I don't know the ship name for Gidget x Iggy-). We have Gidget, a detective who always does the case alone, especially one case that they kept to themselves after the murder of their lover - Ignatius -.
In this lovely AU, Iggy was a scientist working at a lab organisation called Zeus Corporation (yes, yes, a rich ass name). However due to an 'incident', Iggy had 'died' along with three scientists in it. Gidget driven by grief, would often get out late at night, searching for answers.
Unfortunately, their boss had assigned Gidget to a partner. An android that's a replica of Iggy, sent by an anonymous person. And Yada Yada, still a wip.
5 ) Our Nightmare (OOGA BOOGA)
It's literally just a twisted version of Our Wonderland. Simply, the white rabbit, the deceiver of Children, lures kids in, so that the others can take the children's lives to feed their mother. The end. Yes. Iggy is the White Rabbit in this AU.
Tbh, me and a friend of mine bicker about Iggy being corrupted/evil in this AU. I think that Iggy would be this emotional + psychological manipulative villain, one that uses a child's naivety and innocence to his advantage. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing. But Rabbit skin instead. So. Yeah. .-3-
Day 5: Fanworm (Yes, this was intentional)
Definitely! I've created many OW fan pieces! Some get recognised while others sadly don't really get the spotlight. I have a few favourite ones that you may have seen or not;
I drew this out of boredom after playing DTI. I tried drawing Jerry the best I could, giving him floofy hair + some side burns and a small goatee. (Something possessed me to draw him with those-)
These three were sadly from a cancelled project of mine (due to Capcut being Money hungry and my cousin deleting Kinemaster-)
But in all seriousness, this is one of my major favourite masterpieces I've ever made 👌

I would say this doesn't work for me except as I stated in an ask earlier, sometimes I feel more like I'm just an OW fan rather than the creator, so I feel like anything I draw or create that doesn't go into the actual game is a fanwork hahaha. So I'll use this to think back on any unofficial things I've drawn from my appropriate titled "Extra Stuff" folder and choose some of my favorites!

DAY 4: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CG???
I have so many but alas, due to the ten image minium...(thingy), I had chosen one-to-two CGs from each arc UmU. Also, some CGS includes mild blood.
ARC 1:
Ah, yes. As you see, the introvert had fallen off of his chair, unable to catch his mug of le coffa. I really liked this CG because he does this repeatedly. (except ARC 5, if I remember correctly-)
Also, this is relatable as hell since I have done this a few weeks ago and wasted a good can of Fanta.
ARC 2:
Idk y but whenever seeing this CG, I would always think of the aftermath, on how Genzou would've react seeing Iggy lying there, motionless, knowing that he had failed to protect the man he love.
ANYWHIZZLE, That's just me tho and I'm a weirdo who likes making angst.
Iggy: I have a rake and I'm not afraid to use it!
Rabbit: And I have a spear, dumbass *proceeds to wack Iggy*
Genzou: *sighs, looking at Iggy on the ground* ...my hero.
I laughed at this CG so much, and I will still laugh at it till this day.
ARC 3:
LOOOKK AT HIMMM, I CANNN'T!!!
It just makes you forget that Orlam is a pyschotic-mentallyill-cannibalistic-possum-who-is-purely-insane-and-would-probably-eat-you-alive in Wonderland. I just, can't- I feel so bad for him, going through a childhood like that, dealing with a deadass father.
He's just resting. Trust-
But fr though, the amount of time I was like 'omfg, no' when Iggy was just drinking that toxic water, "cleansing" his sins. I just- Sighh.

I love how Genzou is just encouraging/reassuring/comforting Iggy to express his love to Gidget, despite Genzou having a large crush on him since High School.
ARC 5:

I felt so much joy seeing Genzou and Jerry bicker. Who doesn't love a furry and a short bean argue???
Honestly, this was one of those moments where I thought;
"Were these two dating???" And "Wait a min, are they exes???" But I WAS SOOO FUCKING WRONGGG.
Genzou: Buddyyyy, best pal Orlaaaam, I'm just joking, I was just joking ;v;
Orlam: Stfu-

I am still surprised that I played Our Wonderland for free..
Like, before I even downloaded Our Wonderland, I was like; 'ah, a Queer visual novel with problematic 30 year Olds going into Wonderland? Sounds interesting enough. This would be a piece of cake-"
Bro, Our Wonderland touched yet beat up my heart like there's no fucking tomorrow. I HAVEN'T EVEN CRIED AT A VISUAL NOVEL (only internally BUT NOT OUTSIDE) UNTIL PLAYING OUR WONDERLAND.
Like the characters!?!??!?!? The plot!?!? The humour- 🫶👌- THE ANGST!?!? AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE ENDING. LIKE I WAS FUCKING BAWLING MY EYES OUT WHEN IGGY WISHED HE NEVER EXISTED. I'M LIKE; "WAIT, WHAT, NO, NO, NO," until I saw that it wasn't actually the end of the game- just the arc.
BUT GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. THE ENDINGS AT EACH ARC WAS LIKE KNIVES STABBING INTO MY HEART-
And when I finally finished Our Wonderland. I slowly laid back down on my bed and cried both tears of joy and sadness-
Like, I played that visual FOR FREE. WTF.
Also, when first playing it, I thought Cecil was like an alternate emo version of Iggy-
Anywhizzle, that's all of my yapping.

W.I.P Chapter 1 #2:
The clumsy life had chose you, Iggy Maxwell UvU
"The Barbeque"
OMFG.
When I first played Our Wonderland and when this magnificent scene had begun, it was another thing that touched my heart. Got me a little bit of Deja Vu.
The barbeque, I mean. When I was a little demonic gremlin, me and my cousins would run around the backyard while the adults talk and smoke. Often, me and my cousins would jump on the trampoline or would often make horror stories (One of them managed to convince me that old porcelain dolls lived in the walls. Hah, the memories).
Now, all (totally) matured teens we are, we still talk. Not that much as I slightly lost connection with them but still talking.
Anyways, enough of my memory lane. I guess that the Barbeque scene was just- warm- touching to my weird heart. Maybe because the barbeque was a nice reunion for the group. Huh. Reunion. Maybe that's why it touched my heart.
That and also why I felt...envious?? Jealous, that despite what they're going through, they reunited over some nice barbeque. I can't even reunite with my friends without them bringing up past problems, without me being the middle of their shit. Whenever I try to reunite them over anything. Even after my group had broken up into two, whenever I talk with one of them they would just say; "Oh, are you that selfish?" or "Do I not matter to you?" or "You can do way much better than hanging out with them." It's my decision on who I hang out with and who I don't hang out with. It's my choice if I want to stop hanging out with one or not. Like, I don't fucking care, it's my choice, why can't they fucking take a no for an answer? That I'm my own person and not some character from some twisted drama show?
But besides my enviousness of the barbeque scene. It really gives a nice introductions to the characters, how they act to one another but what I like most was the presentation of Hunar(Humar? Sorry for my misspelling) and Bucks relationship and how both of them react/deal with their unready . I love how Carrot had showed that Bucks wasn't ready or ready to be a mother (yet), showing how Bucks had dealt with the situation, which and sadly, she dealt quite negatively, neglecting Saydie and avoiding the problem. When arguing with Hunar, she had suggested giving their infant daughter whiskey to shut her up but when her friends were coming over, she had bought a new grill for the barbeque reuninon.. Hunar, who, even though wasn't prepared nor ready to be a father (just like Bucks), took the responsibility of taking care of Saydie, which in my point of view and my opinion, was the only one taking care of Saydie and also the only one trying to keep their marriage upgoing and stable. Instead of Hunar staying silent and letting Bucks do her thing (which I sadly keep seeing on SOME visual novels/books *cutely sighs*), he confronted her about the problem, telling her off for her irresponsibility, her neglection towards Saydie and how she rarely been at home for dinner and shit.
Honestly, if @just-a-carrot didn't add the barbeque scene after the small prologue, I would've gone;
'that's a wrap. I'll play this tomorrow!', then would've proceed to not play it for a week- (totally not me who spent one whole day on ARC 1 and balling my eyes out at the end)
LIKE SERIOUSLY THOUGH. How they expressed the types of relationship the group has for each other in their 30s, it's like fucking icing on a rich red velvet cake. (YES RED VELVET IS MY FAVOURITE FLAVOUR SWEETS, BITE ME). Like how Genzou still bullies Orlam, how Orlam improved his game (by game I mean getting laid-), how Gidget is trying to be perfect, Bucks becoming a momm- I MEAN, becoming a tough (anger issue??) woman. I WOULD CONTINUE RANTING BUT IT'LL FUCKING BECOME LIKE THE FNAF LORE BOOK. Ty, for whoever read this.

Context;
As our asexual omega protagonist, Iggy Maxwell the fifth, and his two tough alphas went inside the cannibalistic rizzler's castle after many sacrifices of betas like General Furry of Dress to Impress.

However, as the three divas entered the rizzler's chambers, they were confronted by his dogs and STANKINESS 💀.
"Not sorry."
Genzou would watch as blood pours out of Iggy’s earlobes and eyelids. He continued to struggle against the two rabbit guards' grip.
“I’M SORRY!! ORLAM, STOP!! PLEASE STOP, I’M SORRY!!!” Genzou loudly begged as tears continued to stream down his cheeks. He could hear the two guards holding him, chuckling underneath their breath. He watches as the life in Iggy’s blood stained eyes faded away.
Genzou's struggles came to a pause as he looked at Iggy’s limp and motionless form. He couldn’t be…
He watches the ginger haired king release the motionless form of his white haired friend…his partner’s body slumped over as it was the chains that were stopping his body from falling onto the dirty ground.
“Iggs?..” Genzou quietly called out with a shaky voice. His usual cockiness was completely gone, broken, as he looked at the body in front of him.
“Iggy!?” Genzou called out once more but louder this time. He didn’t even notice his body trembling as he continued to look at the body of the man he was supposed to protect. The man he was supposed to love. The man he was supposed to hold every single night.
His thoughts were interrupted by a loud bark of laughter coming from the King of the land. Slowly, Genzou lifted up his head and looked up at Orlam. He never felt so much hatred against Orlam until now. Orlam looks down at the teary mess that Genzou had become.
“What’s the matter, Gennyzou? No more witty comments?” Orlam ‘playfully’ pinched Genzou’s cheek with a victorious grin. Genzou grimaced by Orlam’s touch as his gaze lays upon Iggy’s body once more. Just by looking at the once live body of the man he loves, faint memories of both past and present, the moments from last night left an ache in his heart…
How he held Iggy close to his body as they slept through the night.
His first kiss with the man he loved and had a crush on since High school...
The warmth he felt with Iggy close to him…

I’m so fucking sorry, Iggy…
Silence filled the area. That was until Orlam let out a small chuckle. He roughly grabbed both of Genzou’s cheeks and forced him to look up at him once more.
“Tell me, Genzou,”
Orlam trailed off for a brief moment as he mockingly wiped away the tears coming out of Genzou’s eyes.
“Are you still sorry?”

Sadly, Genzou suffered a slow death as Orlam made sure his death was slow and painful. To remind Genzou of the pain he had made Orlam go through. It would be a lie if one say that Genzou died peacefully.]

Orlam: A gang leader. (I mean- come on 😀)
Gidget: A mob boss (because they're a diva🤭)
Genzou: A wanted convict/mercenary (Can you feel, the loveeee 2nigghttttt)
Cecil: Underpaid cop (who's tots not a dirty cop, working for certain mob boss hehehehehehe)
Jerry: A punk ass agent (yes, one who loves to torment new interns *coughs* Iggy.)
Hunar: A back alley doctor.
Not only that! I can just imagine the AU taking place in this cyberpunk inspired world! The high tech, the romance, the angst and DRAMMMAAAAA!!!!
Tbh I would love to make a comic about this au however, I just need to find some free time to make the comic and also figure out the plot to it. plus, I have two tests this week (and no thanks to my two teachers who taught me nothing) and working on a Fanfic, based around one of the possibilities that had happened in their Wonderland. (gosh Im so cringe -3-")

Small yapping context;
I made the artwork after a two hour roleplay I was having with a friend. Me being me, I roleplayed as a tavern bartender as an Iggy Doll and a friend of mine was roleplaying as this shadow mage thing(??).
Fast forward into the roleplay, Long story short, I had been gutted. ._.
The context of the artwork was supposed to represent guilt and shame. I tried to show that by drawing an alternate version of Iggy dancing with, well, Iggy himself. The reason I blurred Genzou's line from his Arc was because it was shown as comfort(?) towards Iggy and I'm like;
"fuck that." *Cutely blurs the text*

While playing Our wonderland, I thought the scene where Iggy was slowly being digested, kinda reminds me back into another two Visual Novels I had played, called; Elevator Hitch and Do NOT take this cat home!
Tbh, I see small similiarities between the three! However, I think Iggy and Protag have a few more similarities than the Player in DNTTCH. They both wear glasses, both determined, both ( including the player from DNTTCH) getting eaten alive, died many times, stuck in a time-loop, have fluffy hair(I MEAN LOOK AT THEEEMMM), anxious, both cutie patooties anndddd both have jerkwad boyfriends (Iggy and Protag, Idk about the player-)

A while ago I remembered I had art that I never shared mostly because of it being mostly me figuring out how to draw different body types and messing around with lighting. And it WAS so long ago that I touched this game. I recently played the last bit of arc 5 and suddenly, lo and behold, I’m here and present once more. Might as well share something while I suffer trying to learn animation! :)
I was very hesitant to even post these when I first made them if I’m being honest— I wasn’t even sure if I was able to since these were all scenes drawn in my style.

That scene hurt me.
When I first watched that scene. Read that text. Seeing how Iggy only wanted his friends to be happy, putting their wants and needs above his own, seeing how he only thinks about them...It made my heart ached. I didn't even notice that I was crying myself until I saw my keyboard getting wet lol.
After watching that scene, that aching in my heart and the confusion on why I cried didn't fade away. I think it took me about a week or two to know why. Maybe because I felt that familiarity and similarity of wanting to put others happiness before my own.
Before 2025, before finally breaking the walls I've created, I've always felt the need to put others happiness before my own. My family's and friends'needs and wants over my own that I forgot what I had wanted. Until I went to High School and reality punched me in the head. When my old friends drifted away, the connection I felt broke from my grasp. I was lost.
Lost, confused, scared and isolated for one and a half years. Pretending to be someone that they wanted me to be, hiding away the person with their own dreams. I've always been so fucking anxious on what my future will be, on what others think of me, and scared on what my friends think of me. It's hard to explain how I finally escaped on the cage I've built but I think the realisation that what I was doing isn't what I wanted but what others wanted me to be, finally broken the shell.

I think the reason why that scene, that sentence, stabbed my heart was because I was just like Iggy. Wanting to please others, wanting his friends to be happy despite himself. I never thought that I would have a connection to Iggy. And I never read/played a visual novel that kissed a brick and bash into my heart repeatedly. Which, I meant was, I never played a visual novel that touched my heart...
I'm happy that Iggy got to find his own happiness and make his own choices.

Small art to the...faceless smiley guy in the new Broomtail episode.
Now. I have some theories(Thoughts?) about the new episode and its brief flashbacks to Genzou's past.
1) The involvement of the Faceless Smiley Guy.
In this panel, there's a text that says; "I must perform a thorough examination". I'm assuming that it was the smiley guy that told Genzou that because afterwards, Genzou (I assumed) replied; "what did you do?"
The mysterious man seems to either be a 'doctor' or some 'scientist' or, what I like to call, false healers(people who lies about one's health for money and sells false medicine.)
In the background though, it seems like that Genzou had confronted the man either outside another place or his house(or maybe his mother's?).
2) The involvement of the Mystery Man of Genzou's Mother's death(?)
In this Panel. It seems that the 'examination' the Smiling man did was a downer. Maybe he didn't bother helping Genzou's mother, maybe the smiling guy did something to Genzou's mother to increase whatever illness she was going through, or something far worse that I don't want to write it on here.
But obviously, whatever the Smiling Guy done. Genzou was forced/felt the need to put his own mother out of her suffering. I'm guessing that Genzou mercy-killed his own Mother. In the panel below the imagery of the brief image of his mother, Genzou seemed hesitant. Was it Genzou's mother begging her own son to kill her? Maybe.
3). Is the Smiley Guy a Top Hat person.
I mean. Come on. Doesn't that guy gives off Top Hat vibes? The crazy smile, the small silk hair and the shirt collar??
I have a feeling that this mystery guy has a cocky personality due to that grin. I mean, I "studied" a few characters with grins/smirk/smiles on their face (constantly) and they end up to be that one cocky, sly, bastardly character.
But hey.
That's just a theory.

The latest Broomtail chapter
Yes. Hi. I really really REALLY need to talk about the latest Broomtail chapter. As you may know, we get to see a glimpse of Genzou's past through flashbacks he experiences. Perhaps the physical pian of his illness brings out the mental pain of his heavy backstory, so let's try to understand what's been going on.
One of the first things we see is this. A text that says "I must perform a thorough examination" accompanied with the image of someone smiling. Now, a few things may draw our attention, here. If the sentence is indeed connected to the character shown here, then there is a possibility that said character belongs to the medical field. They appear to be smiling in a really disturbing manner. The person's smile is too wide, the proportions feel odd and give off this creepy effect regarding their teeth. In fact, this reminds me of how Gidget, Orlam and Bucks's face expressions were unnaturally distorted in Wonderland (OW). This character, and potential doctor is likely meant to appear creepy, uncanny, and overall uncomfortable to look at in this specific picture. Perhaps they have bad intentions, or at least, that would be quite easy to assume. This hints at Genzou having some medical trauma and will likely make dealing with his illness even harder. (poor guy, seriously).
The second image shows a terrified Genzou. But look at him. Isn't he missing something? The scar on his eyes. This is a shot of him before he lost his eyesight!! The next sentence shown is a hesitant, half asked question : "Wh-what did you...?" implies the person asking that question is scared to even be asking it. Is scared of the answer. If this is related to the previous (potential doctor) character, then they seem to have done something that horrified Genzou.
Here is the next picture. A character, that to me looks shockingly similar to Genzou's mother is laying down, and doesn't seem to be in a good condition at all. If it is indeed Genzou's mother, then her hair is falling on her face and she appears to have splashes of something that looks like blood on her face. Her hair falling on her face would likely indicate that she is not in a state that's good enough for her to remove said hair. She is likely in a lot of pain, perhaps in the worst of cases, she is dead, or dying. If this is related to the likely doctor character from earlier, then perhaps she was a victim of medical malpractice, or she was straight up murdered. Who can tell, really? What's intriguing, however, is the text above that pleads "K-kill me..." Is Genzou's mother begging for her life to end? Or, could this be someone else.....?
The next image is of someone holding a gun, likely Genzou regarding the shape of the hand. He appears to be trembling, which is perfectly fitting to his current mood. Terrified and in pain. Something happened, where Genzou was trembling, holding a gun. Was he hesitating to shoot something or someone? Had he just shot something or someone and was regretting it? Underneath, the text reads "P-please..." which is yet again, another stuttering plea. We can likely say that this is the continuity of the previous one, and that the person asking to be killed is the same as this one.
And, here's the next image. A familiar, familiar face. Gidget, slaying their outfit, leaning on a doorframe. The text near them was likely said by them, regarding the change in tone. They are comparing themself to someone who they are referring to as "cowboy". Already, we can tell Gidget is a pretty important, yet painful part of Genzou's past.
Now this. This is where it gets EVEN MORE interesting. We get to see two intertwined hands, looking a lot like Gidget's and Genzou's. The implications of this could be that Gidget and Genzou were romantically involved with eachother at one point in this universe. That is a VERY interesting thing to explore, as it is not a dynamic that can be seen in any game of that universe. Sure, in Our Wonderland, Genzou seems a bit taken aback by Gidget's good looking appearance from the moment they start presenting themself as more masculine than before, but due to Gidget "forcing themself to be cis" (for lack of a better expression) for most of the game, this dynamic has not been explored before! And I must tell you I was NOT expecting that!! The text reads "You like the soft ones, don't ya?" which could be referring to a lot of things. But I think in this case, that it could specifically be referring to romantic partners, in which case, that is quite the flirty sentence on Gidget's account. Pair that with the memory of their intertwined hands and draw the conclusion you will....
The next image only further confirms this theory. Gidget is leaning into Genzou's ear, whispering "I can be soft..." which is, in my opinion, undeniably flirty. It also looks like their hand is tugging at his collar, or at the very least, pretty close from it. Gidget is also smirking in the picture, which only affirms this. However, the bottom text reads "or I can be..." and simply ends there. What else can Gidget be? And do we really want to know?
The next images are a sudden switch, a complete change in scenery. Genzou is still thinking of Gidget, but this is a completely different memory. Gidget isn't flirty anymore, they actually look rather angry. They are crouching near a lying Genzou and despite their face being hidden by the shadow of their hat, they are clearly disdainous. The text near them confirms the way Gidget feels. They are refusing to kill Genzou (which implies that the person pleading to be killed earlier on, was in fact Genzou from this specific memory, asking Gidget to end his life) and claim that they have gone through so much together (potentially confirms the theory of them being exes in this universe). Gidget is clearly upset by something Genzou has done and the bottom text confirms that they think Genzou deserves to feel guilty about it, which he definitely seems to. The bottom image also reveals that this is the memory of Genzou losing his eyesight. There is blood on his eyes, in the exact place where his scar currently is. Genzou is scared, terrified and he is crying. He regrets something he has done, he feels guilty and he has just turned blind. He is in so much pain that he is asking Gidget to end his life. And Gidget? They are so angry at him for what he has done that they refuse to put an end to his misery, and claim they want his guilt to make him suffer.
Here, Gidget mentions "the weight of his sins" and him being dragged "straight down to hell". It is unclear whether they are referring to a literal hell, as this is a very religious time period, (and well, Genzou has a lot to regret and furthermore, he is gay...) or whether they are referring to a metaphorical hell, which is what he is DEFINITELY going through.
The last image reveals Genzou, still lying on the floor. The blood is still on his face, he is staring into the sky, which he likely cannot see anymore. Here it can be seen that there is a gun near his hand. And his gun holder on his belt is empty. Genzou is right handed, and the gun is near his right hand. Regarding the earlier image of him trembling while holding a gun, this raises questions. Did he shoot himself in the eyes? If so, was that his actual intent? Because he doesn't seem to enjoy being blind. Or are there still key elements we're missing... On this last image, we can also clearly see that Gidget is gone, and Genzou is lying here ALL ALONE. The text reads "Don't leave me..." implying a fear of abandonment, especially after he has just lost one of his senses. But Gidget is gone. So is his eyesight. And he feels guilty about something. And his gun, his gun means something important as well. I have much to bet that THIS is the most embarrassing moment in his godforsaken life. He's all alone. He's vulnerable and exposed. He can't see anymore. He has no one anymore. And he is so guilt ridden he doesn't feel worthy of love anymore. The most embarrassing moment in Genzou's godforsaken life.
What I like the most about this chapter is that he starts focusing on that fear of being left alone, right as the image transitions to his present sick self. And Iggy being back. Ready to help and support him. You likely have medical, religious and abandonment trauma, Genzou. But Iggy will never leave you.
Anyway, does anyone think I missed anything? Those are just silly theories, I'm sure Carrot is cooking some delightful story as we speak and I can't wait to see more of it!!
