This weekend was rough. My grandma passed away and I found out at the end of a 13 hour work shift, so it made for a difficult night to say the least. But today was a decent day. Got lots of steps and had an overall pretty good day.

completed lab 19 pre lab for chemistry
complete 8/10 assignments for my intro to business class
took a nap
did my morning and night skincare
journaled in the morning
filled out my planner for the week
booked a tattoo appointment for October

got a ride to and from lab with one of my roommates and found out she's actually a giant sweetheart, her and I are both just two awkward people
ordered taco bell for dinner cause why not
need to start taking creatine again, but I've stopped working out cause life. need to get back to it
am going to pull extra hours at work cause I definitely wanna make sure I can pay for my tattoo and all my bills
forgot to take my meds, whoops

My breakfast from yesterday, the amount of time I spent studying Japanese today, and the book I finished reading today! Still need to complete homework, journal, and so my self care night routine, but today's been pretty good <3

moved the remainder of my stuff out of the house I left
put away clean laundry
cleaned and organized around my room and bathroom
picked up my ulta package from the apartment front desk
applied for a front desk position at a nearby medical wellness center đ¤
studied Japanese for 27 minutes
read for ~55min, completed the book I was reading, 7/10, it was a good read but way too much happened at the end, felt rushed
đ Random Stuff From Today
tried vanilla fairlife protein shake in my iced coffee, 7/10 for flavor, ended up hurting my stomach
forgot to take creatine today haha
didn't work out, but I did take a nap so I think I made the right decision
making mac and cheese for dinner
wasn't as excited about my ulta package as I thought I'd be
joined the Step Up app (lemme know if anyone wants to be friends on it to "compete" and get our steps in!)
looked for a small vanity to replace where my 2nd dresser is + looked at walking treadmill pads on Amazon
my boyfriend works late tonight so idk if we're gonna video call âšī¸
got to spend a little bit of time with my dad today

good sleep in a comfortable bed
the ability to be in college and pursue my academic endeavors + enrich my education
today is going to be a good day. also, I am loving the photos I took and posted! they are my original photos, so please do not use them <3 slowly changing to a better, more authentic aesthetic <3 I apologize for my inconsistent updates, life has been crazy right now. working 40 hours a week on top of classes has been a lot, I'm not gonna lie. But I know what I'm capable of, and I'm excited to establish some routines and achieve my goals!

Get 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep a night
Consistently take necessary medications
Track nutrition and fitness progress

Study Japanese every day (Goal = 30/30) + attend italki lesson

I plan to accomplish as much as possible while also taking care of myself because I know my limits and what I am truly capable of <3 I want to get back to my daily updates, which was also a motivator to set some goals for September, to give myself some guidance. first Monday of classes and it was a good day! It was super content packed so I was really tired as of like 2pm, but I managed to finish an assignment, and do some textbook reading and note taking. Didn't do as much as I wanted but I'm glad I did something. I booked a Japanese trial lesson on Italki to motivate myself to start studying Japanese again too!

requested an appointment with a study abroad advisor regarding summer study opportunities
picked up my new headphones (my old ones broke)

Today started off a little rocky, I was dealing with some conflict but the day ended off pretty good! I want to start back up with my daily check ins now that school is in session, I'm working, and life is back to normal!

First Impressions đ
I've had 4 of my 5 classes so far (one doesn't start til october) and I definitely have some thoughts on them, so I thought I'd share my first impressions!
Principals of Accounting II:
the professor seems a bit disorganized, nervous, and semi chaotic but I like his energy
so many people in southern attire, I was a bit surprised
might take a decent amount of study time and energy to keep my grade up in the class, but I'm always up for a challenge and I definitely know I'm capable
gotta figure out a time efficient study routine for this class
Learning (Psychology)
professor has an accent, no idea where he's from, but it's a cool and thankfully understandable accent
feels very content heavy. I definitely want to buy the textbook for this class
need to find a way to stay awake, that's one of the classrooms that make me sleepy
that professor likes to talk for sure (1 hour and 15 min of just the syllabus? man's can talk)
Integrated Survey of Organic and Bio Chemistry
the professor is definitely a science guy, him being the professor makes perfect sense
i really like how he explains and teaches
appreciate that all the content needed is already posted to our class online and all the slides are available already
I love science based classes because I know how to succeed in them and this one seems no different
I have a friend in the class so that's nice!
Intro To Business (Online)
lots of content
lots to do
I gotta make sure I time manage for this class cause otherwise, I'm gonna fall behind
an introduction video?? why not just a discussion post?? ahhhhh
Overall, with working full time, this is going to be an incredibly stressful, incredibly busy semester, but I'm so up for the challenge, and I know I can do it. I just gotta study efficiently, time manage properly, and keep disciplined. I WILL be successful.

Classes Fall 2024 đ
I'm super excited about my class schedule this semester. As many of you know, I'm double majoring now in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Finance! (Also double minoring in Psychology and Exercise Science). I love my classes this semester, and I'm so excited to start my 4th year of university!

Integrated Survey of Organic and Biochemistry + Lab - 4 credits
Learning (Psyc) - 3 credits
Intro to Business (Online) - 3 credits
Principles of Accounting II - 3 credits
Financial Literacy (online, mini semester) - 2 credits
My weekly schedule actually looks so beautiful this semester, I'm seriously so so so excited. I was able to structure the schedule so I can work 40 hours a week (haha, expenses, yay!) and still have a complete day of no class/no work and I have the day off of work for my lab too.
I also have the TEAS exam coming up, which will be my entrance exam into the Dietetic program when I pass (manifesting it, wooo!). I'm going to start studying for it by the end of August and I believe the exam is in October? At least the first attempt is. So I'm definitely excited!
Lots to do, lots do prepare for!

Hello!!! With the start of the school year coming soon for me, I decided I'd reintroduce myself, as this is my main blog and I typically use it as a studyblr-type of blog because it helps keep me going towards my goals! Of course i still post about my physical health, mental health, and daily life, but when college/university is in session, my life typically revolves around school!

I am entering my 4th year of college/uni BUT I recently added a 2nd major so I don't graduate for another year/year and a half ish
I am majoring in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, 2nd major in Finance, and a double minor in Psychology and Exercise Science
I love learning so so so much, as you can tell
I study languages in my free time
^ Currently rotating between (Mexican) Spanish, Japanese, and Korean
I love all things health, fitness, and wellness
I love to work out! My favorite ways to work out right now are weight lifting, walking, mat pilates, and yoga! My university offers workout classes for free to full time students so I'll be taking yoga/pilates classes at my campus!
I do work a full-time, on-campus food service job. 40 hours of work a week, and 15 college credit hours this semester đ
I love to read, write, listen to music, and want to pick up more hobbies such as sewing, dance, crochet, drawing, painting, etc
This account started out as a "wonyoungism" account and slowly turned into my own little safe space where I am free to be myself without fear of judgment. Of course my aesethic is still pink and wonyoungism ish but I do fully plan on turning this into a more studyblr type of account using my own photos once university starts back up!
