rant
ive been feeling so envious of my friends lately and i don't like it
it's like whenever they achieve something that i wish for my ideal self, i start thinking to myself "why is that not me, it should be me" and then a self deprecating thought follows, "maybe it'll never be me". my mind chooses to completely ignore the struggles my friends have gone through to get where they are and do the things that they are doing
i feel guilty feeling this way about people so close to me, people who confide in me, whose struggles i know but im not sure how to navigate through this
hmm maybe i should start by making a list of things i want for my ideal self and then work towards them slowly
nahi hora yaar nahi hora
KAISE HOGA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
im sitting in the library watching buzzfeed instead of starting my paper due tonight because my brain is literally shortcircuiting
it's back.
the assignment crisis is back.
i feel like stress eating momos (or anything honestly)
i have a speech and an essay due in 4 days and 2 design assignments in 5 days
i have to submit the outline of the speech tomorrow AND i also have to design a post for the socio club's page by day after tomorrow
im not even in any extracurriculars HOW AM I STRUGGLING THIS MUCH
(っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
i have an assignment due today at 11:59 and im so scared im not going to make it
hoping for the best because i plan on staying in my academic weapon era
(。ŏ﹏ŏ)
edit: IM DONE WITH THE ASSIGNMENT?????? ONG
i declared my major and minor last week!
(if i sound excited about it, im not)
kind of scared but okay
but it feels nice to say that im doing a psych major with a design minor (ʘᴗʘ✿)
Honestly, it doesn't matter what happens today or how the exam goes.
The fact that you took a course that you don't have much interest in and tried your best to understand the subject matter, the readings and the assignments is commendable.
You've given your best throughout the course and you've prepared to your best level for the final.
Take a deep breath and get out of your head.
Okay love you bye <3
[this is a letter to myself pls ignore lolol]
ive taken a philosophy class this term, it's an introductory course but im still intimidated lolol
that's why looking at philosophy studyblrs is nice motivation

my second semester starts on monday, and while i’m disappointed that i won’t be able to attend classes in person, i’m very excited for my philosophy of religion module. i’m getting a head start by reading and annotating the class notes and reviewing previous epistemology notes on religion.
Good afternoon! Back with some pink notes 🩷 these are my absolute essentials for notes!!
Kokuyo campus notebook in B5, Kacogreen pens & unipin fine liner for titles :)
A pretty pink glance at my Thursday morning featuring my notes and an excerpt I picked from a beautiful memoir I finished 🤍
Hope everyone has a beautiful day <3
rant coming up because why not
so i feel like im sucking at the whole "college experience" thing
i haven't hit rock bottom in terms of my academics but im so SO scared that i might. istg college level assignments are no joke and I FEEL LIKE IM ALWAYS LACKING UGH
i haven't participated in any clubs or committees or any student activities. either because whenever there's smtg, im tired or because im undermining/second guessing my skills.
LMAO recently ive also been thinking that im just plain talentless like everyone has their 'thing'. what's my thing? nothing. there's nothing that i can confidently say is my thing.
yeah my self esteem has taken a hit after coming here.
i keep comparing myself to one of my friends and honestly im envious of how she's actually experiencing college and how involved in the clubs/activities she is. and she's so funny, bubbly and smart and everyone likes her.
okay that's it for the rant, ill be fine eventually (atleast that's how i pacify myself). maybe others also feel the way i do, maybe my friend feels this way too and i just don't know it🤷
this felt nice~~~
i love languages sm ⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾
random uni photo dump
omfg first class of uni today, im so so scared but it's intro to sculpture so im a littleeeeee relaxed
but then i have academic writing in the evening
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
anyways wish me luck

the only photo I took today. finalized the schedule and materials I will use in my review so I can focus on studying for the next few months.
Study:
answered week 1 handouts for FAR
📕 Total study time: 1 hour
📚 Read: Intermezzo by Sally Rooney 73%
👣 Steps: 5,049 steps
18/10/2024
Its the official start of the review season but my first day is on Saturday. Plotted the topics for week 1. Tomorrow I'll start answering the handouts. The goal is to start watching the online lectures on Thursday. Will attend classes this weekend too to test the waters on what lectures to attend to. I have to maximize my time now.
I also have to finish my video lectures from another review center to complete my completion phase of the review. The scheduled completion phase should be done last week but I got burnt out last month that's why I'm only starting to bounce back now. My new goal is to finish the completion phase before this year ends.
Since my review era has kicked off, I have to take care of myself more to avoid getting sick.
Some of my health goals starting December are:
eat vegetables everyday
restrict my sugar intake
drink more water (failing miserably on this these days)
16hr intermittent fasting
10k steps per day
try OMAD once a week
Win of the day
finally folded my clothes that I've laundered this weekend

I hope all you humans are having some fun today. Me? Oh, I got to do a yard chore that required the use of a sledgehammer so yes... I am doing quite well today. When one can use a sledgehammer to be productive, it's good mental and physical health... as long as you don't hit yourself that is. hahaha
Remember that if you want to do more of something, you have to do less of something else. It's that time of year where people set goals for the new year and they have plans and hopes and it's always focusing on what they want to do more of. More studying, more exercise, more crafting, more socialising, more making things from scratch. Okay, great. What are you going to do less of in order to have the time and energy to do more of those things you really want to do?
The work I got done from 9:00 to 21:00. And I will continue. #school #math #quarantine #quarantinelife #productivity #mathematics #homeworks https://www.instagram.com/p/B--MwAbBtRe/?igshid=omhm4b830ay0
30-39/100 days of productivity
song of the week: b2b-charli xcx
it's been over a week since i last posted. i have been so stressed for my calculus midterm. i did over 250 integrals in five days, staying up until 4 am every day or not sleeping at all. my physics midterm got pushed to after the break so now i have three midterms back to back.
just had my calculus midterm last night and it honestly did not go well. this past week leading up to and after my exam definitely took a toll on me mentally, physically, and emotionally which undoubtedly affected my exam. but i'm going to try and stay motivated for my other classes and get a better mark on the calculus final.
i have so many lab reports and proposals to write now but at least reading week is next week and i'll be going home to see the sun.
pictures:
walking home after my midterm
6 am after studying all night
integrals on the classroom blackboard at 3 am (the janitor forgot to lock the door)
practice questions an hour before my midterm with friends
26-29/100 days of productivity
song of the day: hypnotized- minh
i might be cheating by summarizing multiple days but i really don't have the motivation to post every day.
spent the weekend studying for my physics midterm. went to the bar and a concert over the weekend which i enjoyed immensely. also viewed an apartment which i might sign soon: i really liked it (huge modern open kitchen, washing and drying machine, quiet... what more can one ask for).
my school has called a snow day for tomorrow so now my both physics midterm and chemistry lab have been pushed to next week... same week as my calculus midterm. just amazing. and just after my biology lab last week got pushed as well.
i am currently feeling very unmotivated, evident by how i have not been posting. but i know that i have to study or my calculus mark will be worse than last semester's so tomorrow i will force myself to walk through the blizzard to study at a cafe. i am feeling quite confident about physics however i still have not fully formatted my crib sheet. so i will do that during my study breaks tomorrow.
slight vent: a lot of my classes have been getting cancelled recently and it's really frustrating because i studied for these midterms (i was even doing physics at the bars) and now my entire study plan has been thrown out the window. also online classes and meetings are just so draining. it's really miserable to be constantly freezing then trek through a meter of snow in the rare cases when i get out of the house. i can't wait for summer. my mood is only boosted by the big glass of red wine i had last night and the prospect of hot matcha tomorrow.
images: very out of tune piano in the physics building, however still beautiful. a bagel cafe study session with a friend (im going there again tomorrow). roses i bought myself on valentines. unfortunate car.
