Janus's Name Reveal (I have a lot of feelings about this)

As a refresher for the dialogue:

Roman: PFFFFT!! Janus? Hahahaha! What are you, a middle school librarian? Hahahaha. It's a stupid name.

Janus: Oh, Roman, thank god you don't have a mustache. Otherwise, between you and Remus, I wouldn't know who the evil twin is.

So many people are all like 'oh Janus is so horrible telling Roman that if he had a mustache he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between him and Remus' but HONESTLY!

It was true!

Names are an important, powerful thing, and when Janus revealed his badass name to show he wanted to be part of their team, Roman didn't *just* LAUGH, he said "PFFFFT!! Janus? Hahahaha! What are you, a middle school librarian? Hahahaha. It's a stupid name."

That's a horrible thing to say! He did sound like the evil twin!

Everyone's like 'oh but when Janus said "Oh, Roman, thank god you don't have a mustache. Otherwise, between you and Remus, I wouldn't know who the evil twin is" he was attacking Roman's worst fear' AS IF NOT BEING ACCEPTED AND BEING LAUGHED AT ISN'T A FEAR OF JANUS'S!!

Virgil presented himself as a bad guy so Thomas would listen to him, so they'd taken him seriously, and Janus has proven that he wants what's best for Thomas like everyone else.

So how come he can't have done the same thing? Why is that so hard for people to consider? He has feelings too!

I'm not saying Janus was in the right, I'm saying he was provoked and shouldn't be made out to be the villain when they were both in the wrong (also rip Janus because his name was the only one to be laughed at, Roman didn't laugh at Virgil's name he laughed at Patton saying his name should be Virgin and Thomas immediately stood up for Virgil)

Anyway I still love Roman and Janus and that entire encounter went wrong in every possible way thanks for coming to my ted talk

Thing I Noticed

Virgil: I freaking hated everything about this.

(Patton: Hoo, I was afraid of what you meant by "strong language".)

Virgil: Do not allow him or any of... his friends... to stick around that long ever again.

Thomas: Okay, but what—

Virgil: Ever again! Cool?

Thomas: Cool.

Virgil says this, speaking about Janus. We know that Remus is considered a friend of Janus's, however, he said 'any of his friends.' Plural.

This implies that Janus has another friend, other than Remus. Considering the split dynamic of sides, and how light sides and dark sides so far haven't been friends (though they are warming up to Janus now), it's reasonable to assume that Janus's other friend is a dark side. There are three dark sides we know of, and Virgil obviously isn't speaking about himself (he doesn't consider Janus a friend anyway).

So, with this in mind, there's two possible options:

1. There's another dark side

2. Virgil/Thomas misspoke and I'm reading way too into this

Good morning! I'd just like to point out:

[Patton]: First, we'll need someone to practice on...

[Logan]: But who?

[Patton]: Each other?

(After they all swear to tell the truth during the trial scene and Janus takes the bibles/misc objects back away)

[Patton]: Okay, so, we kiss now? Or...?

Bonus:

[Patton]: Aww, there's so much cool stuff they've done for us online, kiddos!

[Roman]: Oh yeah?

[Patton]: There's some really neato artwork of us all AND some writing as well! Say, what is a "ship"?

[Logan]: Seriously, Morality, you don't know what that is? It is a craft designed for water travel.

[Virgil]: Even Prince knew that.

[Roman]: Yeah, even I knew that.

[Patton]: Oh, ok! It does not look like that, but ok.

I just want to point out those all happened in canon. That is all.

QUESTION SANDER SIDES FANS:

Please help me I don't know what this joke means and I can't find an explanation anywhere:

[You call those witty?]

Patton: Well, you call those glasses?

[I mean yes, I'm not sure if you're implying some—]

Patton: Well, I don't think they'll pick up, they don't have a cell phone! ZING!

I like the first one better, but I worked too hard to not post the second. For someone whose title is 'Deceit,' Janus really just spits facts. I've never related to or loved a character more than I do him, so here's my tribute

What The Frappe?!

Summary: Based on a post by @charmingprincey, with additions by @thesmartestside and @divinedrabbles. Roman is an actor who keeps flirting with the cute barista at a coffeeshop, while Virgil is getting quite annoyed with this hot guy flirting with him.

Word count: 4414

Pairing(s): Prinxiety, background Logicality, platonic LAMP

A/N: THIS IS THE BEST THIS IS GONNA GET. LIKE, EVER. SO.

@ohbytheangel was, as always, a huge help as coauthor! You’re the best :)

@ everyone, APPRECIATE THIS WE WRESTLED WITH THIS FOR THREE MONTHS SO

AND THE ENDING BEING DONE IS BECAUSE OF ANGEL SO (plus me nagging them… oop)

@hghrules @becca-becky @tinysidestrashcaptain I don’t know how much you like/don’t like being tagged but eh

When Roman entered the hottest new coffee shop in town, he didn’t expect to find the key-youtest barista serving drinks.

He was adorable, with dark, dark hair, slightly tinted purple, and sleeves that were pushed up half-way, causing him to look a zillion times more cute than he did in the first place.

The only problem?

Said barista, Virgil, according to his name tag, would not respond to his flirting!

OKAY BUT VIRGIL’S MAKEUP GOES BRIGHT PURPLE WHEN HE’S HAPPY IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF STORYTELLING DETAIL THAT I NEEDED.

FUCK I LOVE THAT VIDEO.

@metatoshi when you presented your data, I immediately thought of Hexadecimal code. After organizing all your numbers out into [1989 2419 9424 9894 4198 4241 8942], an online converter told me that while there were many characters missing, it gave me this: $$ABAB

Do I think this holds meaning? Maybe, but I see little evidence to say anything. It could be another type of number cipher, or something else entirely. Or nothing at all.

However, something that the original poster and I noticed is that half of each string of numbers is half of the previous string. Example: 1989 goes into 2419, and the cycle continues. The first two digits of each line become the last two digits of the next line, which, could mean that they are all just shifted over strings of the same sequence of numbers.

With that information, I took out all repeats and started from the bottom up, creating this sequence: 89424198942419. With said sequence, you convert it over and it becomes this: BA$

Takes out a lot of repeats, huh?

Now, it’s from here I leave it up to the rest of you. I have little idea on where to take this, but take my information and run with it!
