Unpopular kpop opinions
I know I'm super late but here they are (and maybe some of them are not unpopular I'm not sure)
• I think Lisa's rap is cringy especially in boombayah and so hot.
• Asking if you are welcomed in the random is kinda dumb. Like, nobody's gonna stop you. But I do understand asking for names under mv because this can be really helpful.
• It's okay to be slow joining the kpop community. I, myself for the first month only liked bts and later I started exploring more. If someone is only an army give them time. After watching bts gayo it is impossible not to be interested in other groups.
• Both love scenario and ddu du ddu du won't win the song of the year(mama) not because they aren't good but becouse they are under yg and mnet and yg aren't exactly in a good relationship.
• And about band award. Day6 will hopefully win, the rose will be nominated and maybe drug resrestaurant? Not sure.
• It's hard to tell if blooming days will win mv of the year. Even though it was beautiful, aesthetic and stuff I'm not sure if it had that impact on the kpop community. But I do hope it will win.
• Shinee HAS to win something. Whether it is the artist of the year, song or dance I don't care.
• I honedtly don't like girls generation. I respect them but I wouldn't listen to them. Before I started to like kpop I saw snsd party and thought it was super cringy. The only song I could listen to is gee.
• Telling twice to change the cute concept is pretty damn disrespectful. Nobody tells blackpink to change theirs. Maybe it's becouse twice has got more songs but honestly i don't think they are cute they rather are happy.
• Rosè gets the least attention in blackpink. Lisa and Jenni are the most popular and everyone talks how Jisoo should get more lines so nobody really talks about Rosè. This opinion is becouse I'm kinda salty about it couse she is my bias.
• I feel like gwsn will be really successful in the future couse they debuted like 2 weeks ago and puzzle moon has already got about 7-8 million views.
• Jyp may be the best company out of big 3. They treat their idols good and if needed let them go(sunmi, somi) and quite regular comebacks. Sm's big plus is that the idols stay active for long and yg gives us some good hip-hop vibes I personally find jyp the best.

first of all.. who wants this to happen???
as they say.. NEW.. so its gotta be fresh, something that we are unfamiliar.
if they are going to be like snsd or 2ne1 then they are absolutely not NEW..
they are in YG entertainment so there is nothing to worry about... Papa YG have the most creative mind in korean entertainment he can create new masterpieces if he like to...
lets just wait and see whats the result of all of this support them if we like :)
but in my opinion... a 7-member girl group is no that good idea.. its just my opinion :)

POV: Third Person
Summary: "It's been nine years since the two of you decided to call it quits. looking back at some old videos made you realize just how fast the night changes..."
Pairing: jessica jung x fem!reader
Warning: there's no warning ig. it's a little angsty that's all.
"Sica! Sica look at the camera!" The younger Y/N said excitingly, making the teen look up at her with a small smile. "Hello.." Jessica said before waving at the camera. "Tell the audience where we're heading off to!" Y/N said, using her free hand to grab her suitcase. Jessica giggles before grabbing hers. "Well, we're heading off to Korea to make our dreams come true!" She said, her smile grew as they walked to the plane entrance.
The other girl chuckles before turning the camera to face her. "We're gonna be the next best thing! Just think about it, "Jessica and Y/N takes on Korea"! This is what we've been waiting for!" Y/N said before facing the camera towards Jessica. "Good good, now turn that camera off, we gotta board the plane." She said before the tape cuts to what seems to be like a birthday party.
A slightly older Jessica can be seen smiling, talking with her group members. "Well look who we have here!" A matured voice said as they moved closer to Jessica, making her look up. "Y/N! Babe! I can't believe you made it!" Jessica said happily before giving Y/N a big ole hug, kissing them on the cheek. "Eww you got lipstick on my cheek." Y/N teased, making Jessica roll her eyes playfully. "She always does this." She said, making the other girls laugh.
"So, Jess. How's the famous life treating you? Genie is a big hit and all, you know." Y/N asked, making Jessica laugh. "Is this a interview or something?" She said, covering her mouth to hide her smile. "Maybe, maybe not." Y/N teased, making Jessica shake her head. "Okay whatever... My life's been pretty normal though. I've gotten eight new sisters and I'm still rocking with the love of my life.. life's going great." Jessica said, smiling still.
"About the love of your life. How's she been treating you?" Y/N asked, making Jessica blush. She hid her face before laughing. "She treats me like a princess. I love her so much. We've been through a lot together. I'm glad we've finally got to achieve our dreams." She said before a loud laugh erupted in the room.
"HYOYEON, YOU'RE GONNA BREAK YOUR NECK." A small figure flashed behind Jessica, making Y/N laugh. "Silly Taeyeon.." Jessica mumbled before shaking her head. "Y/N, stop filming and come give me my birthday kisses." She said before reaching out to her. Y/N chuckles. "Okay, birthday girl." She said as the video cuts to one last scene.
It showed Times Square in New York and a more mature Jessica playing in the snow. She hums the chorus of The Boys as the camera followed her, showing Sooyoung and Yuri running around in the background. "I can't believe we're here, Y/N." Jessica said softly before looking at her girlfriend, her smile grew once she saw the camera.
"First you get a song produced by Teddy Riley, then you get to perform it in New York?? Unbelievable." Y/N started to say before looking around, bringing the camera along with her. "And you're only twenty-two!" She added, making Jessica giggle. "You've made a lot of accomplishments at your age..." She said before nodding slightly. "You've been in so many dramas, and you're in one of the most successful groups ever.." She added before looking at Y/N. "And you're only twenty-four!" She said before laughing.
"Yeah yeah... But I'm proud of you, Jess. I really am.." Y/N said, making Jessica smile. "That means a lot, Y/N... I love you.." She said before the video cuts off. Leaving the present Y/N looking at her reflection through the black screen of her laptop.
She had been looking at those old videos for hours. Wondering where she went wrong. She had left SM in 2012, when Jessica broke things off with her.. And she heard that two years later, she left as well. Y/N wanted to reach out to Tiffany or Hyoyeon to find out how she was doing, but she doubted that they kept in touch.
Y/N heard through the new that Jessica was dating somebody named Tyler. Although she was sad, she was happy for her. She tried to speak to Krystal, but she wouldn't budge. Saying "If Jessica wants to speak with you, she'll speak with you." as if that was any help. Y/N sighs, closing the laptop before setting it to the side. She gets up, throwing her jacket on and heads outside to clear her mind.
She drives around aimlessly before heading to a nearby mall. Once she arrived she saw a sign filled with names of the stores inside. One of the names stood out to her. "Blanc & Eclare". Jessica always wanted to have her own fashion company. Y/N walked into the mall with her hands in her jacket pockets. She stopped to take pictures with people and had small talk with them before heading on her way.
"Yeah, I like that but how about we put it over here?" A voice made Y/N stop. She turned her head to see where the voice was coming from. She sees the figure before looking up at the sign. "Blanc & Eclare"... This can't be... Is it her?... Y/N looks back at the figure to see the lady looking at her. "....Y/N?..." She called out. It's her... It's Jessica..
Y/N snapped out of her thoughts before swiftly making her way past the store, hearing her name called once more. She looked back to see Jessica standing outside of her store. Y/N can see her wipe the tears from her face. She thought she could be able to face her after all these years... But she couldn't.. Not just yet...
For Our Sulli.
it goes without saying that kpop fans around the world have a heavy heart today. if you’re unaware, Choi JinRi or more commonly known as Sulli, one of five talented members from the former group f(x) has passed away, the cause of death was self inflicted.
due to the overwhelming amount of hate she’d get from time to time or the hurtful things they’d say to her, it really played with her mental health. from what has been plastered around on media from the amount of negativity by the people of the internet this had pushed the singer to end her life. of course we can’t just believe that, but this is a serious matter that must be addressed.
history has once again repeated itself, with the same situation that happened almost 2 years ago with the late-idol singer, Kim Jonghyun of SHINEE. the amount of pressure and negativity that idols endure from debut to now or even after they leave the industry is absolutely shocking, the amount of pressure on their shoulders is hefty, but we don’t understand that type of situation.
it’s honestly a real shame that some companies don’t take care of their idols mental health, mental well-being is one of the most important things in the world. this is like i said before, a sign of history repeating itself.
to all the fandoms around the world, please understand that pain, hurt and sadness aren’t experienced by a selected amount of people. it impacts everyone, famous or not. understand that words can hurt, words are also weapons and they can kill. slowly and silently.
i’m not saying any idols will see this, but hopefully they know that it’s okay to talk about things that are on their minds, that it’s okay to not feel okay, it’s okay to feel things. you’re not a robot, you’re not modified to feel okay all the time. please seek help, please don’t be afraid to reach out. there’s no us without you, look after yourself we’ll be okay.
idols are humans. yes they have the ability to sing and dance extremely well, but they also have emotions, they have boundaries, they have insecurities, they have fears and most importantly they are HUMAN. i cannot stress that enough.
to all of Sulli’s family, friends and fans and most importantly her former members. i on behalf of many other kpop fans around the world wish nothing but love, support and strength for you all. all fandoms, please put down your weapons and put a stop to your fanwars and just empathise with one another and look after each other, support each other and be kind. understand that some of your favourite idols are still here receiving your love and support.
